Otto had nothing to do. Or maybe he had things to do and just wasn't on top of them. Wherever he was supposed to be, it was probably not the Life Labs. But that's where he was. When one was looking for entertainment, that was where you went. Life Techs tended to be pretty damn loony, and as long as otto stayed relatively inconspicuous, he'd be safe from them.
Unfortunately, he wasn't really all that inconspicuous.

Luckily for him he wasn't immediately spotted by Rin who seemed completely absorbed in inspecting a small plant-like mini. She probably should not have been. So likely would have shouted him off the moment she noticed him enter.
Instead she poked it with something sharp curiously to gauge it's reaction; of which there was none.

Out of the mild antics abound, he spotted Rin alone somewhere. A huntress he recognized, and one he was fairly comfortable around. She seemed distracted, busying herself with a.. plant?
Otto slipped into the room, moseying his way closer. "It ain't gunna eat people is it?"

She was waiting for it to react. It hadn't. Nothing. Nada. OMG LOUD VOICE! She spun around with her heart caught in her throat before gaze fell upon Otto. Then she glared, "DON'T SNEAK UP ON ME LIKE THAT," and swept the mini back in a tank. Hopeful he hadn't seen that.

Otto flinched a bit, staring at Rin like she was some sort of startled and cornered snake about to bite him for the intrusion. He relaxed after a short moment, tilting his head to peek around her. "Sorry.. but seriously. What is that?"
If she was hiding it it had to be good!

"Nothing," she lied as she closed up the tank. It appeared to be some sort of potted venus fly trap. Smiling.
"Was just uh... feeding this mini," yeah, that's right.

"You lie like a hooker in Vegas, girly." Otto said with a snort. "Ain't no need to panic 'less ya got somethin to hide." He seemed almost amused somewhere within his grouchy features.

"I... what?" Rin turned her gaze to give him a baffled but somewhat judging stare, "The hell you just say to me?" Yeah. He was the one up to no good, clearly.

Otto seemed almost cocky in posture now. He had her rattled, and that amused the teen a few more degrees than it should have. "You heard me."
"What's so hard about it? Gimme answers or gimme somethin to appease my curiosity." The southern boy smirked ever so lightly.

Suddenly Rin froze and gave him a stern look. Setting her jaw before asking rather bluntly, "Why should I?"

Otto frowned (deeper), and huffed. "Fine. I'll just see for myself." Otto announced indignantly and tried to push past her.

He pushed past her rather harmlessly though you wouldn't know it by her response, "Ow! Hey! What the ********?" He barely touched her and she knew it.
At least at this point there wasn't much to see. Just a plant-like mini chilling in it's tank and what appears to be a syringe with needle that seems to have been thus far unused.

Otto ignored Rin's outburst, stared at the plant like mini, gaze shifting to the syringe. Normal Lifer stuff, he assumed. "What's that for?" He asked in a demanding tone. "Making minipet poison? Using Minipet fluids to cure Insanity?"
Was he honestly curious, or did he just have an itch to annoy?
"What'll it do?"
