Never in the history of Sailor Aurora version 2012 had a White Moon senshi been so INSISTENT on killing her. It started on yet another roof top, during yet another school night where instead of studying the dark mirror senshi was busy graciously taking bits of energy from her victims below. Never too much, only a little from each person. In and out with the mirror wraith, never a fuss.

Except for the Super Senshi that appeared before her. Decked in pastels and whites and a face marred with only pure anger and hatred, the white mooner wasted no time to talk. Her magic blew Aurora dangerously close to the edge of the building where she had to balance her step or fall and die. It was maddening to think that in just a few short seconds she'd be a magical pancake girl on the cement below. Talking wasn't an option. RUNNING was.

"Aurora Lovelove Ensnare!"

The white moon senshi stopped in her tracks, the good feelings overcoming her but only for a few seconds.

A few seconds was all that Aurora needed. She turned and found her footing, dropped to an awning below. Another jump and she met the ground. Time to book it.

She weaved through the streets, rounded corners and around parked vehicles in an attempt to lose and confuse her. But the white moon senshi never lost her. Aurora could hear the curses and promises to kill her on the senshi's breath. There'd be no losing this girl.

And theeeeeen she took a wrong turn into an alleyway. The building was too high to jump. There'd be no escape. She was going to die. All she could do was curl into a ball as the white mooned started to pummel her.

Out and about on her usual patrols, Super Sailor Navi paused in her collecting of energy to focus more fully on the two distinct auras flitting about near by. One was familiar, another agent of chaos, perhaps even a Dark Mirror Senshi. The other was Order, and seemed to be on a power level closer to her own, rather then the one it was damn near overlapping.

Now she had no reason to assume anything was wrong. For all she knew the pair of soldiers were having a chat, and it would be rude of the DMC of Tumbleweeds to interrupt.

But.. Navi's instincts were pulling her in that direction, and they'd never yet steered the senshi wrong in the past. She recalled her wraith, tucked the mirror shard into the cuff of her boot, and set out at a sprint in the direction of of the other order and chaotic auras.

Not a moment too soon, it seemed. It took only seconds for Navi to take in the scene before jumping into action. "Bitter Winds Howl!" There was no pretense or warning besides the sudden whipping of wind around the three of them before she'd cried out her attack. Swirling air gathered to the Senshi's palms, and she launched that ball of razor wind directly at the White Mooner that was baring down on the DMC cornered in the alley. The ball split into three smaller, though equally powerful balls, and those found their mark as the White Senshi turned to face this new enemy. One struck the other girl square in the chest, another in the stomach, and the last took her hard in the face, knocking her right off her feet.

Stalking forward, the petite red head aimed a kick right for the other Super's face. Simple, yet effective, as the Senshi's eyes rolled back in her head. She was out cold. Now if only all confrontations with other comsic warriors were that easy..

That handled, She finally turned to the other Dark Mirror Senshi, hazel eyes sweeping over her frame for any signs of obvious injury. "Are you okay?"

Aurora had seen better days, sporting a few healthy bruises where there really shouldn't be. Right now she could only see little stars blinking in her vision and the blurry visage of a red-head. Was she.. asking her a question? She could barely hear above the pounding of her head. And she didn't dare move. That sharp pain in her stomach and her ribs could only mean trouble. Or broken things.

"Ahahaha... ha... ugh." Her vision was at least beginning to clear, at least. "Oh... another dark mirror!" The girl tried to put on a smile. Albeit a very pained one. "I'd get up but I think I have bruises on my bruises. Uh, is she...?" Aurora's eyes flickered over to the knocked out white mooner. "Dead?"

Who ever this Dark Mirror Senshi was, it wasn't someone Navi was familiar with, nor had she heard about her from Chariklo or Remarque. "Your new?" She questioned softly, closing the small distance between them before kneeling beside the pink haired girl.a gentle brush of saggy fingers swept aside a few Coen candy colored locks from the curve of a pale cheek, and she winced at the sight if the bruise she'd just uncovered. "Oh yeah, she worked you over petty good, huh?" Poor thing.

At her question the ginger haired senshi tuned her had to glance back at the unconscious figure sprawled along the concrete. "No, just knocked out." Even as she spoke a groan rose up from the White Moon Senshi. "For now."

Not that she thought the order aligned senshi posed much of a threat anymore, Navi still didn't want to be there when she woke up. With how stiff her attack was, there was a chance the other girl hasn't gotten a good look at her, and that could always be used to an advantage in the future. "I know you're hurt, but we've got to go." She offered a hand down to the injured girl, ready to puke her up to her feet do they could make make their way to a mirror.

"I'm NavI, by the way. Senshi of Tumbleweeds." A soft smile accompanied the introduction. "And I don't know you yet, not even by word of mouth."

"Oh." She reached up to take hold of Navi's hand. "Ahaha, yeah. I'm new. And yeah, she really did. Ow, ow, ow." As Aurora pulled herself up with Navi's help, she looked down at the White Moon girl. Thankfully she wasn't dead. And thankfully Aurora wasn't dead either, geeeeez. Her eyes went back to gaze at her new savior. Red-headed, freckled, so pretty. The younger girl blushed and cleared her throat. "I'm, ah, Aurora. Senshi of Romance. And one sec."

Aurora winced as she turned a bit toward the fallen White Moon senshi. This was the first of probably many that would beat her up without mercy. And yet, she couldn't stay mad at her for long. "Aurora Lovelove Ensnare," she whispered, blowing her a kiss. "Okie. She'll be stupefied for a few seconds more so we can get going." The younger senshi gave her a nervous laugh. A mere parting shot, a gift for the senshi. ... and maybe that would make her feel better when she woke up. Ahem.

Ginger brows dipped at the obvious sounds and signs of pain the other girl was making as Navi helped her to her feet, and if she wasn't so keen to get them out of the area she'd have stopped to have a look at the poor girl. it would have to wait though. The White Mooner was going to wake up, probably sooner rather then later, and she wasn't going to be happy. Just because Navi got the drop on her the first time, that didn't mean a second win would come as easily.

"I'm Navi of Tumbleweeds," the older girl offered in turn, though she sounded a little distracted as she watched Aurura cast an attack on the already unconscious senshi, but if whatever she did would give them a little more time to put distance between them, then Navi approved. "Good Idea. Now let's go."

She offered Aurura her arm, still unsure of the other girl's injuries for the time being. "We'll get to a mirror, and I'll take you somewhere safe so we can check how badly you're hurt, okay?" That safe place was probably going to be her own room in her and Quinn's apartment, but they'd already dubbed the place a safe haven for anyone in the Dark Mirror that needed a place to go.

Aurora was more than glad to take that arm, clinging on to it and leaning against the noble senshi of tumbleweeds. Her teeth gritted with each step, though she would do her best to follow her without complaint. "Ahh.. okay. Ahahaha." Owie, owie, owie, wince. "Uhm, thank you.. for saving me." Ow. "That girl really had it in for me." Ooowwwww, uuuungh. All right, this was all pretty painful. "I, ah, never experienced that before." Save for the chibi girl Lenka, but she kept that quiet. "Someone who wanted to just outright kill me. Ah .. ow.. Sorry."

She licked her lips after stumbling a bit. "Sorry, sorry. OKAY, I'm okay." Aurora was trying to be a little trooper! "Bluh."

Just a little further! Juuuuuuust a little further.
PostPosted: Fri Nov 23, 2012 9:25 am

They hadn't gone further then the end of the alley before Navi realized Aurora was a little more hurt then she had thought, and she slowed to a stop before they had reached the vaguely brightly stretch of street lap washed sidewalk. "You're lucky I happened to be close, but you're going to want to train up some." She frowned at the other girl, remembering a similar situation in the past. "She won't be the last one you run into that's going to want to kill you, and you're going to need to know how to defend yourself." She wasn't trying to chastise the girl, but naivety would get her killed.

In the shape Aurora was in, walking all the way back to a mirror wasn't the best option. She was hurt, no matter how much she was trying to hide it. "Come here." Slipping her arm free, Navi turned and crouched down, urging the other girl to get on her back. "No arguements, just do it. You're hurt, and we need to get you somewhere safe." Aurora was a small thing, so Navi would have been able to carry the girl even without the extra boost of strength afforded by her ties to the Dark Mirror Court.

"I'm going to take you back to Mine and Leto's apartment, and you can stay there til you're a little more mobile." Quinn wouldn't mind, not for this.

"Unnn.. no arguments here," Aurora agreed softly as she climbed up on Navi's back. She glanced down to make extra sure that she wouldn't step on her toes or anything. Hurting her noble rescuer would be the last thing that she wanted to do! "And... yeah. This is.. ah.. kind of my first time was encountering someone that wanted to kill me outright." Usually the White Mooners had been so nice, either just wanting to talk or at least offering her to leave before they beat the snot out of her.

"I've been training on, uh, in playgrounds but...." That probably wasn't enough.

"Oh." She blinked. "You're Leto's roomie? I've been at your place before!"
PostPosted: Fri Nov 23, 2012 8:43 pm

There was a diff sigh from Navi as she listened to Aurora, and for the first time in a while the girl couldn't shake the raising need to protect. Like her poor Virtus, thus girl wasn't a fighter, at least not yet, and if she carried on as she was now it was going to get her killed, or worst. "I'll mention something to Leto, and we'll see about getting you some combat training. You should at least know how to protect your self should you need to."

She wasn't trying to lecture the girl, but it might have sounded that way before the subtle edge to her voice faded. With a sharp exhale Navi adjusted her grip, hoisting Aurora a little higher on her back so she could clap her own hands under the girl's bottom.

It was news to her that Aurora had been to the apartment before, but not entirely surprising. With Lydia now attending DCU there was plenty of time throughout the day she wasn't home. "Really? Must have been while I was at class." Curiously she wondered if any of the other newer members of their court had been tutu the apartment when she wasn't there. Not that it really ma ttered though.

After about ten minutes worth of walking the pair came to a gas station with the doors to the rat rooms around back, rather then within the site portion of the building, and Navi kept to the shadows as she carried the other girl around back and slipped through the door. On the back was a floor length mirror, and to a keen eye it would be obvious that the thing hasn't been a part of the original design. Without pause though Navi stepped right through, casing Aurora through mirror space, and through another mirror across from them. They enraged into Navi's bedroom, and carefully the Senshi of Tumbleweeds turned and set the other girl down on the edge of her bed.

That finished, Navi powered down, then turned to smile at the pink haired girl. "You can stay with me tonight." It wouldn't be the first time she'd shared a bed with a girl, and probably wouldn't be the last. "And I'm Lydia."

"Ahahaha... yeah. I, uh, do agree that I need combat training to defend myself. I just .. don't like fighting all that much. For, uh, various reasons. Ahahahahaha...." For various reasons that she really didn't want to talk about~ Sad, sad reasons.

"It was the first time I met Leto," Aurora explained. "I met her in the mirror and then we ended up coming here! Ahahaha, don't worry. I didn't, uhm, look in your room. I promise."

Aurora still got a small rush whenever she traveled through the mirror. It was the same with Leto, dizzying and exciting and just overall awesome. Even now, as she was beat up and being carried by her heroine, she felt that tiny rush go through her. She had to bite her lower lip to not cry out "Whee!"

Then she was set down. And lo and behold, her savior turned into a beautiful redheaded masterpiece.

Aurora was stunned. Buh.

Oh. Oh right. Powering down. Aurora blinked and lifted a hand to her brooch, to reveal the young cotton candy haired teenager. "Hey! I'm Esme!"
PostPosted: Fri Nov 23, 2012 9:51 pm

Lydia chuckled, trading a seat beside the now powered down Esme. "I didn't think you had, so no worries. I just kind of wish I would have been here." And was keen to meet all of the new members of their court, but hunting them all down was a challenge. At least she could cross one name off her list, though their meeting was far from ideal.

With a relieved sigh the redhead slipped her heels off and nudged them under the edge of the bed. "Feel free to get comfortable, and if you'd like I have all some spare might clothes, t-shirts or track tips, shorts, sweatpants, whatever you want." A lot of the things she listed were tested for lounging around, not sleeping in, at least in Lydia's case. She preferred tank tops and panties, but with Esme here she'd add a pair of sorts as well.

Getting back to her feet again, she turned to her dresser and pulled open one of the drawers. A tank top and shorts were removed for herself, then she turned back to the teen on her bed. Go ahead and pick whatever you feel most comfortable in, get changed, and then we'll make sure none of your injuries are serious." Then bed. It wasn't terribly late yet, but after patrolling, buying heads with the white moon Senshi, and caring Esme all the way back here, Lydia was getting tired.

She offered the pink haired teen a comforting smile before editing the room to head down to the hall bathroom. "I'll be right back."

Oh! Ah... Lydia was .. offering her her bed to sleep in. Probably together. She hadn't thought of that fact until now. And that fact made her redder. This was like one of those fabled sleepovers that she never had the girl friends to share them with. Yet, those sleepovers probably didn't involve magical girls and bruises from girls much stronger than you. But who knew! What she DID know that this was straight out of one of the many slash fanfics that she wrote. And that end result was...

Oh gosh~

Esme nodded dumbly as Lydia left the room. Uh, what should she wear for this.. What do you wear for sleepovers besides pajamas.. The pink-haired teen stood up slowly and made her way to the dresser. Oh gosh, just .. Oh just pick something! She opted for a comfortable shirt and some sweatpants, and once she changed she set her Meadowview uniform in a folded pile next to the bed. A good guest tried to keep neat even despite her injuries! Finally, she settled back onto the bed with an 'oof', and waited for Lydia to return.

(Lol, I really should read through my posts before hitting submit when I use the tablet to tag things. xD Auto correct does some crazy things. I'm sorry if parts don't make sense.)

After changing into the clothing she'd picked out to sleep in, Lydia brushed her teeth, then took a minute to examine herself in the mirror. Her usual nightly rituals, and they weren't likely to change just because she had a guest. You could call it vanity, but Lydia was proud of her fair skin and sprinkling of freckles, and she didn't appreciate any blemishes that dared try to crop up. After an approving nods at her own reflection the teen hit the light switch and made her way back towards her bedroom, hands raising up and gathering the soft mass of ginger curls over one shoulder and separating them into three even sections.

She was braiding these together as she nudged the door open with her foot, and pushed it closed again with practiced ease. "Good, you found something comfortable." It would have been hard not to with the mix and match collection of lounging attire the teen possessed. A quick glance around let her spot the folded uniform, and though she honestly wouldn't have cared if the younger girl had just left it on the floor, she appreciated that Esme was trying to be a polite guest.

"Alright, slide over." Lydia gave Esme a nudge with her hip as she took a seat on the edge of the bed, and she finished of the braid with an elastic band that had been resting around her wrist. "So aside from the bruises, did you get any other injuries?" Specifically anything that could be treated with first aid. If it was only bruises, sore as Esme might be in the morning, at last there'd be no lasting damage after the color faded.

Haha! So that's what that was. xD No worries. I get the same with my iPad/Phone.

Buh. Lydia looked so gorgeous! Esme smacked her lips and scooted over to give her newfound friend some room. "Ah, well, it kinda hurts to breathe. My ribs are a little sore but I don't really know if there's anything broken." Her fingers trailed along her right side, and she winced at a particular spot just under her ribcage. "This is where that senshi really liked kicking me. Uh, other than that, I think my ankle's sprained. Not bad but still bluh."

It could've been worse. So much worse. But as Lydia had said, it was a good thing that she came when she did.
