Zia totally would've called first. Probably. Except she had gotten a new phone months ago and old numbers from Blood Moon Court girls she had known as civilians were lost.
She knew Kallichore had joined up with the Jovians, so after her little... snafu with Valhalla, she had been reminded of a burning curiosity of what happened to her fellow outcast. Though, Kallichore had done a much better job of acclimating to the post-BMC landscape than Zia.
Point, Zia Connolly, who had once been disgusted by the thought of jeans in public, was wearing a nicely broke in pair and a t-s**t. Perfect ringlets were now a mass of curls kept back in a ponytail to keep from being dangerously blinding. And she had absolutely none of Zirconia's manners.
And right now, Zia was pounding a fist rather enthusiastically on Christa Calloway's door.
Once it was opened so much as a crack she pushed her way in and flopped on the couch with no explanation. She had no patience, and really no idea to act like a human being. When you were a cat, even a talking cat, this behavior was pretty acceptable.

Zirconia was the absolute last person Christa had thought she would see, but it wasn't an unwelcome visit. Even when Zia burst through the door in a flurry of... were those jeans?... and lavender hair, Christa was shocked but still quite happily surprised. And suddenly very glad she was home alone that day. Her own hair was a mess (as it usually was) and she probably looked a fright (like she usually did). Christa almost felt completely inferior to her once-Guardian. But Zia had a way of making you feel like you meant something, and that trait was something Christa had never forgotten. Even being in the Jovians, sometimes the eternal would long for the time when things were a bit simpler. "Zirc... Zia? Um... how are you? What brings you to my side of town? Are you alright?" Christa almost sputtered. The shock was beginning to wear off and now she had to formulate a plan for when her brother and father returned home. If they arrived and Zia was still there, she'd need some kind of explanation for it. "Would you like a drink or something?" The gray haired teen was wearing simple attire - a long brown skirt and cream turtleneck with her characteristic buns surprisingly absent. She was busy writing and didn't feel like bothering with her hair at all.

Maybe back in the day Zia would've pouted and gently derided her for her lazy upkeep of her hair while trying to brush it, but these days she was just as lazy, and only bothered with pony tails and such out of personal safety.
"Christa~" She practically sang, laying back on the sofa.
"No, I don't need a drink," She waved that off. "I wanted to see if you were still alive, mostly! I ran into Valhalla-- and by ran into I mean the d**k grabbed me out of bed and threatened to leave me on Jupiter- and I thought 'Damn, I miss Kalli.' And now I'm here! What have you been doing, baby?"

"Wait... he did what?" Did Valhalla know who Zirconia was? Did he know how important she was, not only as a person and cat, but as a friend and mentor? As a connection? Christa rushed to Zia's side and nearly shook her for answers. "Zia, what happened? Why did Valhalla threaten you? You haven't done anything wrong. I thought we established that you weren't on Ares' side at the last meeting... this makes no sense." The gray haired girl huffed and dragged a hand through her hair. What had she been up to? So much... "Um... let's see..." The primer! Zia would want to know it's in good hands still. "Do you remember that folio I was working on? Back during the days of the Blood Moon?" Surely Zia would remember - in fact, Zia had helped inspire Kallichore to create it in the first place. Her heart had been in the right place the entire time. It was Ares who faltered. "I've completed it. Taken everything out that was secret to the Blood Moon... I don't know if they're still around, but I've converted it into something all White Moon senshi could use. I just... I've hit a road block." Christa found her father's favorite chair and sank into it. "I have no idea how to distribute it."

Zia blinked as she took the story with very bad implications and realized she never really talked about her not-guardian life with Kallichore. Like, ever. It made sense, back in their Blood Moon days Zia was a good girl who let Zirconia drive and Zirc was all business. "OH! No, he knows. I've known Chris since he was twelve. He was just mad we weren't on speaking terms. And kidnapping is obviously the healthy way to patch things up."
of course it was miles more complicated than that, but Zia didn't feel like getting into it.
She sat up a bit more straight when she mentioned her primer, honestly shocked she was still working on it even after everything else that happened. "Hm, I can't help you there," She said, although she wished she could. "I know cats are supposed to have all this senshi tech but I'm apparently a retarded cat."

"Do I need to beat him or is that your department now, Zia?" the gray haired girl chuckled and shook her head. Chris had a great deal of height on her, but Christa had tenacity. Or so she thought. She wouldn't think twice about pulling hair or using teeth if she had to but the last thing she wanted to do was take that honor away from one of her closest friends in the Blood Moon. "And if he thinks kidnapping is a healthy way to patch things up, he needs to seek a therapist." Not that she was one to talk. The lavender haired young lady calling herself retarded came as quite a shock. Zirconia always presented with an air of confidence - something Christa and Kallichore looked up to. "Zia, you're far from 'retarded'. Maybe the Black Moon world just didn't have that kind of technology. It's not a knock against you." Though if you're packin' some kind of Black Moon technology, please use it against Ares. She needs to be stopped. Christa shook her head. "How have you been, kidnappings aside, Zia? It's been too long since I've seen you and the others. Is there a Blood Moon anymore?"

"I punched him, but I don't think it's fair since he was powered," Zia said, making a mental note to exact some sort of revenge on Valhalla later. Pretend her rage burned out and then suddenly bring down the hammer was more her style.
She seemed pretty relaxed, arms crossed and feet up. She definitely wasn't a very polite guest.
"The Black Moon didn't have technology period. Magic never died there, there was never any need. I mean, I can pop up in mirrors but I try not to do that lately since it makes people go "Aaaah DMC kill it~" But there's always the old fashioned way," She said, fishing out her smartphone and mobile excel app containing the knight pokedex she'd made from Zirconia's notes and the recent addition of photos in profiles, though there were only a few photos. Babylon was notably missing because she hadn't seem him lately and while she had his SHliP photo, she didn't want to include civilian information just in case anyone picked up her phone who wasn't supposed to. Valhalla was also missing a photo, but it had a place holder of a crudely drawn paint doodle and the words 'bluh bluh I know everything'.
"I mean, come on, with all this cloud technology bullshit being pimped by every company it can't be hard to rig something up."

The thought of anyone punching Valhalla, Ganymede and herself included, made her laugh. But she let it drop for now. She could ask Valhalla about his side of the story at a later date. "Ares has really shaken things up, hasn't she? And not for the better either." Christa wanted to say something about how it must be terrible to lose Ares to Chaos, but the tee felt it would be nothing less than disrespectful. Who was she to talk about losing a familiar face from a world she could never return to? It wasn't Christa stuck on this side of the mirror with no way back home. The thought made her sigh audibly. She shook her head. "I'm no good with anything beyond word processing and maybe some net surfing but... I figured... something like this can't hurt, can it? Maybe it'll even save some people from Ares if they knew about her beforehand. That's all I'm hoping for." Raking a hand through her hair, Christa looked down at her knees. "I know you mean well. I wish others knew you did too." I wish we could stop her.

"You don't have to mince words, baby, you're not talking to Zirc," Zia said, drumming her fingers on the side of her crossed arms. "I have zero affection for that wannabe moon-b***h."
She also had zero affection for the very idea of the Blood Moon Court, but she would never put that on Christa. Her girls, her girls. Birhan, Scylla, Sirius, Maia, and Kallichore all made Ares and Zirconia's bullshit over her time in the court downright good times, even if she was still bitter about the branding and torture operation thing.
"Oh! No, I think it's a great idea," She said with an enthusiastic nod. "But you might need a real cat to help distribute it through the White Moon cell phone system. No can do with these paws," She joked, holding up her hands.
She just smiled a crooked not-very-happy looking smile at her meaning well. She didn't really, but she didn't need to let Christa know she was overestimating her.

"Then I won't." Christa sat back and folded her hands over her stomach with disdain. "I hate her and I hope she dies in a fire." There, I said it. She looked over at her companion and narrowed her eyes. "Ares brought me into the Blood Moon, just a little while after the whole Operation Rota thing went down. After that I hardly ever saw her again. Not until the corruption. And to think, I wanted to be strong like her someday." Leaning forward, she rested her elbows on her knees. "Come to find she's decided corruption and generally being emo is a better alternative to, say, doing what was right." She shrugged, her hair lifting with the movement. "Anyway, I thank you for your help. Even if you can't do anything with the White Moon cell phone system, you still give us guidance and insight. I mean, you don't have to... it's just..." What was she trying to say? "...appreciated."

"There was a reason Aphrodite and Ouranos were the captain and co-captain of the parallel forces, not Ares," She snorted. "And while I'd like to twist a corkscrew between her pretty little eyes, it's probably not healthy to get into an in depth discussion about it." Otherwise Zia could go on and on about it. And maybe throw Nehelenia and Chibimoon into the mix as well.
"Aw, it's fine, man," She waved off the thanks, "I didn't exactly do anything, you know." Zia wasn't sure how helpful she was. The way she saw it a lot of the DMC and BMC problems wouldn't have happened if Zirconia wasn't so damn passive about everything precious baby Ares did. Which was probably one of the reasons why Zirconia had decided to stop talking.
"But, you know, I mean, if you ever did need anything I could help with, I'm just a phone call and a mirrorwalk away."

"I'll take you up on that sometime, if you don't mind." she said, chewing the bottom portion of her lip. "But then again..." Christa gave Zia a curious look, one she did not wear often. "I know I'm all business. I've always been that way, but it can't be easy to share your body with somebody else. Is there... something you miss doing that you'd like to do now?" Christa was never a party girl or a drinker. She liked to stay home and read, write and plan things. Hell, she collected stationary for crying out loud. Who was she to suggest doing something that normal young adults did? Still, it was her only way of extending a sort of awkward comfort to someone that had watched over her during her tenure with the failed Blood Moon.

"I would love to smoke," Zia said with a laugh. She'd been resisting the urge just on the virtue of being in someone else's house. At least she was polite enough about that with Christa.
She shrugged her shoulders. "I dunno. I don't really know what I like to do anymore. Zirconia finally taking her hands off the stupid wheel's been nice and all, I just don't really know what to do with myself when not being a psycho space cat. Well, I guess i watch terrible movies and stuff, but that's boring and not very exciting."

Christa took a breath. Time to embarrass herself in front of someone she tried to impress so long ago. "Zia, I collect stationary. The stuff you write on. Notepads, paper. That sort of thing. Terrible movies and smoking is downright thrilling compared to my set of hobbies, trust me." She motioned to the door leading to the porch outside and a very modest backyard. "If you want to smoke, you can smoke outside. If anyone asks, I'll take care of it." Getting up, the teen went into the kitchen to prepare tea. "We all need a break every once in a while, Zia. Maybe a spa day will make you feel a little better or something?"

"Mmm I don't like people touching me," Zia said, getting up to go to the porch and lean on the door. And no, the hypocrisy wasn't lost on her considering she was always breaking everyone's personal space boundaries like an Olympic sport.
"My schedule's a little tight with Val trying to catapult me into battles. He's got this idea that I could awaken into something not an inter dimensional starseed transplanted space cat," She said with an eye roll. Mostly to avoid getting sucked into hoping. It would definitely make things simpler.
She coughed and cleared her throat a little at the next confession she still didn't really know how she felt about.
"There might also be this.. uh... this guy."
