My marching band went on a trip for our state performance, and we stayed at a hotel. The people in my room were woken up one morning to a knocking on our door. We answered it, and there was one of our mellophones and one of our trumpets. The trumpet was in his swimming suit, a jacket, and a scarf. He said "Who ordered a stripper" (The mellophone started playing music on his IPod, and the music really sounded like stripper music) and took off the scarf and started to dance. That same morning, he did it to our drill writer and the color guard (I was there for those 2 too).

Hahahah Thats great! xD I don't have any funny stories like that but there have been some funny times at foot ball games and stuff. Like one time we were marching out of the stadium after the game and our section leader hates calling horns down because she has a piccolo and its hard to hold at marching rest so the other senior in our section yelled it out and we all put out flutes down. Our section leader freaking out and was yelling at us (through our laugher) the whole march back.

Of course, I never paid attention to how she does it.

Another thing: All of the brass did this, including me, but in our Homecoming parade, during our cadence, the winds were dancing. My brass captain managed to get us all doing Gangnam Style down the street during cadence, so all the crowd sees is the DM, randomly dancing woodwinds, drum line, then 11 brass players doing Gangnam Style

My band created a strange video on our state trip. http://youtu.be/3s2KJIVyj14We're not sure what's weirder, when the 3 guys came out of the bathroom on the bus, or when they're shirtless in the shower.

If I can find a video of it (I know there are a few videos somewhere), I'll show you what we do after a football game.
