Sports - Not only does Brodie play Football for DCU, but he practically lives and breathes the sport. He probably takes it far too seriously, in fact. It doesn't matter what kind of football either- if you need an extra on your team, he'll never say no be it tackle, flag or touch. When he is not playing football, he is likely out in the woods paintballing. He owns his own top-of-the-line equipment and will happily brag about it to anyone who will listen.
Car Restoration - This is a hobby that Brodie does with his dad, who is a mechanic. He isn't particularly good at it and he'd rather be on the field somewhere, but it's quality time and in the summer it's great being out in the sun rather than in a garage. He hopes that one day his dad will give him one of the old cars that they restore together.
Video Games - While Brodie is more of the outdoorsy type, he could never turn down a game of COD on multiplayer over XBox Live. The bigger the map, the better. FPS gaming is his 'cooldown' hobby, to wind down after a long day. It's something that he can do on his own if he's gotten tired of large groups of people. He also enjoys going to flea markets to collect old systems and games. Because who didn't love Nintendo 64?
Virtues:
Ambitious - Brodie never stops, ever. He seems to have an endless storage of energy that can be put to good use in pretty much every situation. It particularly comes in handy when it comes to playing Football; his team is pretty fond of the fact that Brodie just goes. He uses this energy and ambition to run marathons (Think the Zombie Run, Warrior Dash, etc. You know- the badass races) to raise money for various causes, will go out of his way to help people for hours on end (need to move your entire house into a new place in one day? LET'S DO THIS!), and will go to pretty much any physical extent to get things done. He's not exactly the brightest crayon in the box, but he does everything he can with the means that he can in order to get what he wants and be the best Brodie that he can be!
Impulsive - Thinking before you do isn't something that Brodie does very often. While most people would see that as a flaw, Brodie thinks that's definitely a virtue- he thinks of it as 'Spontaneous' rather than Impulsive! It means that in tight or dangerous situations, he acts quickly and gets things done. And sometimes going with your gut is the best way to go about in doing things, your gut always knows what's best. It also makes him incredibly fun to be around because you have no idea what he's going to say or do. It makes him very adaptable in different situations, which is what makes him a good football player (and one day, good Senshi). Being unpredictable keeps things interesting and is the spice of life!
Trustworthy - Brodie's got your back for life. It doesn't matter if you're his best friend, teammate, girlfriend, or some stranger on the street, if you need to rely on someone he's your man. If you have a secret, a problem, or just need someone to vent to, Brodie is happy to listen and he'll take whatever you tell him to his grave.
Flaws:
Impetuous - Remember that "Spontaenous" thing? It definitely doubles over as a Flaw as much as it is a Virtue. While he very much tries to be a good guy and do the right thing, when you don't think before you act or speak, sometimes you just can't help the outcome. He makes brash decisions, throws fists before talking, and doesn't think about consequences. Sure, he's quick on his feet when he needs to make a decision, but that doesn't always mean that it's for the greater good.
Relentless - If there's something that Brodie wants, he will get it. It doesn't matter if it's stupid, irrational, or out of his reach. Unfortunately that means that he is just as focused when it comes to sports and fighting. He goes to extremes to win and sometimes that results in violence or a flared temper. Once he's focused on something, nothing else matters and that can be very distracting on a day-to-day basis.
Sore Loser - Brodie has a temper, doesn't take no for an answer and he doesn't like to lose. It doesn't matter if you're 100% right or that you won fair and square. He will make excuses and blame everyone and everything but himself if he doesn't do something right. He doesn't know how to accept defeat in the least bit- instead he can become awfully pushy and aggressive and very complaintive. In social situations, this makes him very difficult to be around and people definitely notice that he doesn't take things in stride.
