 Calm and collected at the start, O'ros was definitely ready for this. Or at least she thought she was. Just the thought of fighting someone was something that didn't sit well with the normally passive lioness but something had stirred in her that had spurred her to volunteer to represent her clan; Sky Clan. She was inexperienced, sure, but she had heart and drive to bring honor to her close-knit clan.
As far as lionesses were concerned she was of average size with a starry pelt covering her; a common occurance in her family's line as her mother, half-brother and nephew all shared the trait.
As she stepped forward, O'ros could only hope that her opponent would be someone not nearly as skilled in the art of combat as some others she had seen during the festivals. Worry began to well up inside of her at the thought of fighting some large rogue from a pride based on strength. With a shudder she moved her silver eyes to look over the nearby river, allowing the serene movement of the water to calm her tense muscles. With a new resolve O'ros looked forward, waiting for her competitor to make their way forward.

Quaji Thanks for setting up the RP! Your girl is super pretty by the way! I'll edit in a picture/response later as I am on my phone right now smile  Her patterning was unusual, was Poa's first thought, and he wondered from whence she had come. Some foreign land of bright and beautiful colours, no doubt. Ela'wadiyians had grown more diverse in their colouring in recent times but the predominance of natural colours was certainly the most mainstream.
Poa was smaller than your average male - having the Ela blood of old in his veins, and yet he was stocky enough that he looked a hard sort of lion to shove over. And though he was often a grumpy creature, his recent marriage and making it through to the second round had softened his expression. He even managed a slight smile as he crossed the way to where O'ros was seeking her competior, clearing his throat. "Greetings. Are you, O'ros? I believe we are going to be duelling?" He squared his paws and dipped his head briefly. "My name is Poa Subiani, newly wed into Mantis Clan."
Newly wed. He could still scarce believe it.
"I am ready to begin when you are."
