Galla had just come off a light guard duty, and she was feeling very unwell. The world felt a little dizzy and her stomach felt queasy as if she'd eaten bad fish. Pausing, she leaned her head against some cool stone and breathed in deeply.

She didn't know what was the matter. She felt like she'd been running all day rather than watching the borders like she had really been doing. Her whole body felt sore and stiff. Maybe she wasn't over the fever and stomach bug she'd had a few days ago.

She shifted uncomfortably, her whole body aching as she moved deeper into camp. She was so very hungry too, even though the smells of the fish made her stomach roar in disapproval and threaten to spill the meager grains she'd had earlier.

Maybe a little talk with her friend would help? Turning, she made her way to Vanya's nest to find some companionship in her sister.

Galla sighed as she got close to the caves. She felt so tired, she needed a nap. Maybe she should have went and laid down instead of came here. Her stomach gave a lurching rumble of hunger.

She walked into the cave peeking around, "Vanya?" She called looking around in the dimness for her friend. Well..they were and weren't friends at times, they just...well, they were competitive. But she knew if she really needed someoen to talk to then she would be it.

"Vanya? I need to talk to you."

At the sound of her friend's voice, Vanya perked up. It was always interesting around Galla; they either ended up fighting with each other or she had something important to tell her. Whatever the case, she didn't care; she was simply happy for the company.

"In here," she called out, straightening herself.

Turning to Astraeus she gave a smile. "Fetch some fruits, please. And some water. When you're done you can continue with my hair." There was no way she was sending him away. Vanya always loved flaunting her possessions, especially when it came to Galla.

Galla came into the cave and smiled at Vanya as she was dismissing Astraeus. He was certainly quite the pretty trophy amongst the flock. He was nice, respectful, quite beautiful to look at too. She was surprised that some sister hadn't gotten him to impregnate her and make beautiful babies.

"Hello Vanya," she nodded her head noticing that she had told Astraues to come back--likely to show him off more. That was Vanya's way. Score one Vanya.

Vanmoriel seemed to rouse herself from her art then smiled as she greeted her. "Hello Vanmoriel, how is your art going? I've seen some of your beautiful pieces."

She felt uneasy just blurting out that she felt funny to Vanya--especially with others around. She'd never felt so confused or sick in quite this way. She wanted to tell her how she felt, but she didn't know how to begin and she was kind of not wanting to show her inferiority to Vanya.

Vanmoriel resisted the urge to run and grab her latest paintings and show them off to Galla; perhaps convince her to let her paint her. If this was a normal stop by, she might have, but something indicated this was a little more serious than a casual hello.

"It's going well, sister. Though I seem to run out of paint faster than I can restock it," she laughed softly. It could be because she seemed to get more paint on herself than the canvases she worked with. But Vanmoriel didn't like to paint neatly.

Standing, she made way for Astraeus to go back to combing his mother's hair and pulled a piece of fish from the cloth, nibbling on it delicately.

"Delicious."

Galla smiled as Astraues retrieved the food. She thought she was hungry, maybe she'd find something in the selections he brought back. Vanomoriel was speaking of her paintings, "Are you missing any colours? I can always get you some while I'm out. You just have to tell me what kind and what they look like."

She smiled, her stomach giving another lurch. As Astraues brought back the food, she felt her stomach give a lurch of another kind. She felt acid burning her throat, and she closed her eyes to breath deeply but the smell of fish wasn't helping. Normally, she loved it.

She shook her head, wishing she hadn't because it made her dizzier, as Vanya asked her question. "No, no trouble at the Guard. Things were clear and bright and beautiful."

She eased forward, feeling faint. What was wrong with her? "I think I will have some water. I'm not feeling very well..." She moved forward to kneel down, but didnt' quite make it.

Her meager breakfast made a reappearance on the floor. Her whole stomach empty, she kept wretching with nothing else to come up. Heavily, she sunk to the floor next to the water, feeling too dizzy to drink the water.

Vanya held her breath until it was washed away. She cleared her throat, trying to contain the contents of her own stomach. When she was certain she was safe, she eyed Galla with a brow raised. After the words left Astraeus' mouth, she waved him away.

"This wasn't your doing, Astraeus. You will not be punished. See to Galla until she leaves."

Eyeing the mare, Vanya smirked softly. "Who is it?" Her smirk widened a little. "I must say, I'm surprised. I didn't think you'd be so secretive. I was expecting you to shout it from the roof tops."

Vanya rose and moved to the back of the caves, rifling through the bags. She brought back a sprig of mint and broke it up, placing it in Galla's water. "Mint will help with the nausea. It helped for me."
