The Town Hall, where the Mayor of Halloween Town resided, was the busiest spot in all of Halloween on this eventful night. This was the night when all the grown citizens of Halloween would go to the Human World, collect Fear, and bring back to Halloween.
A giant pumpkin stood in the center of Town Hall right next to the fountain. Each building, normally containing the Museum, the Old Laboratories: even the Town Library Archives, was covered tiny pumpkin lanterns. The sea of citizens swarming in, flooding the rounded cobblestone floors created the illusion of the Town Hall swimming in hundreds, thousands of orange lights.
Each citizen was holding their Fear they gathered fresh from scaring Humans in the Human World, in a small pumpkin-shaped lantern that glowed steadily, reflective of how much Fear they gathered themselves. As they reached the center of the fountain, they dumped the contents into the large pumpkin in the middle of Town Hall: though their Fear would already be circulated the moment they arrived in Halloween, it was more the tradition of gathering Fear, of showing that they were part of Halloween.
Everyone was chanting in chorus a song: not just any song, their song, why they lived, who they were, why they existed. This was Halloween.
And then sudden silence. Someone might have even told a few young scarelings to shush. Every year they did this differently: this year it was the tradition of sharing lights between pumpkin lanterns. The very large pumpkin at the center of Town Hall glowed a little brighter, grew a little larger, and then even larger, and larger to the point where it seemed as it if was going to fall right off the podium -
BOOOOOOOOOM!
A few more timid citizens of Halloween cried out: someone actually fainted (though to be fair they had really sensitive ears). However those cries were lost in the crowd of cheering as hundreds, thousands of citizens threw their empty pumpkin-shaped buckets into the air and watched as from the explosion flew thousands of silver pumpkin seeds and spooky candy as far as the eye could see!
A chorus was echoing now: loud and strong:
In this town we call home Everyone hail to the pumpkin song!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!:
- Another year, another year of Fear well gathered! Now that your character has finished enjoying the festivities, it is time to of course, scoop up the rewards! There are silver pumpkin seeds everywhere so feel free to help yourself, within discretion of course, don't want to seem too greedy.
Roll a 10-sided dice to pick up Silver pumpkin seeds. This is the amount you pick up! Be sure to also include in the OOC your minis username. You can only do this ONCE, make sure to RP doing this! - This is also an orp for EVERYONE so feel free to enjoy the music, festivities, mingle, introduce yourself to other relatives or friends to relatives and simply have fun. - As this is a very very large event (the largest event in Halloween!), characters are very much encouraged to mingle with everyone. Make sure to quote a person to get their attention! - A buffet for ghouls and boils of all ages! Step right in to help yourself to all you can eat food from all over Halloween, free for tonight only!
MONSTER MASH:
- This concert will be taking place next to the old crypt (near the graveyard) of Town Hall. Jam in to your favourite songs by your favourite rock stars as they rock this night out to the death. These sensational songs will make your SCREAM!
GHOST MINIGOLF:
- A family favourite! Pick up a ghost ball, and see if you can finish this ghostly mini golf course, but watch out for obstacles on the way! The floor may also mysterious vanish, so watch your feet!
SPARKLE HOUSE
- Are YOU brave enough to try the Sparkle House? Inside is indeed a terrifying experience, from everything pink and frilly to all the sparkle-covered objects, glitter, even classic statues from real Human World experiences involving ballet and glam rock. Only the BRAVEST can enter!

Wending her way through the crowd, Tsukiko dove for some silver seeds. She needed some in order to get a minipet she saw back home. Slipping them into one of her numerous hidden pockets of her kimono, she managed to avoid being trampled (even her tail escaped harm) and headed over to the food. Grabbing something to eat while on the move, she made her way out quickly. She didn't want to test her luck any further than she already had.

Ash was, for once in his life, grinning from ear to ear in glee. He was free of the worst thing in his short life, and the biggest holiday of the year had snuck up on him.
The Reaper could not have possibly been happier. He sent a brief message to his boilfriend, saying that he jad already joined the festivities.
Instead of wearing his helmet, Ash was simply dressed...as himself. The boil was not partial to costumes; but to enjoy the freedom of being comfortable in his own skin again?
Well. It was priceless.
While waiting for Thackery, the blond stooped to collect some Pumpkin Seeds, gathering up a handful.
Kiwi had never witnessed first-hand this particular Halloween celebration. There were food stands, and music, everything a scareling could hope for.
Silver pumpkin seeds scattered everywhere as the great pumpkin burst, and creatures young and old seemed to be scooping them up like FEAR candies. Curious, he bent to pick up several, examining them closely. They seemed useful enough, if for nothing else than to serve as spare ingredients to test in Famine potions. With that he quickly pocketed them into his satchel.

This was Uller's first time here. He needed to get his mind off of the fact Tahki was gone for a while, so he decided that going to his gathering would be a good idea. So, he arrived, wearing his usual outfit and his hair up in a ponytail. So far, he didn't know anyone here, it looked like. Oh, well.

Rikki was just really freaking excited, okay? He ran (stumbled) towards town hall, Danny clinging to his back like a monkey because she'd demanded piggy-back rides. He could already hear all the music and smell food, and oh jack he was just happy it was finally Halloween and everyone was okay.
He stopped to look around, hefting Danny higher on his back, when he saw the sparkle house. He pointed at it with a serious frown, and simply said, "No."
The little ghost clapped, wide-eyed and smiling, as the giant pumpkin exploded. Pumpkin seeds raining down, she held out her hands to see if she could catch a few.~ She wasn't always the most perky of ghost, but there was just a certain feeling in the air. This was home and she should be proud of her little town. Placing what she could in the pocket of her skirt before she decided to explore a little bit. She still wasn't very comfortable with other people yet, but as of right now no one was paying much attention to her. Thank Jack! Humming as she floated about, experiencing the different attractions. Free food here, ghost golf, dancing!? There was so many things to do... But what did she want to do? The little ghost stood there with a puzzled face.
Coming into the forest, Shun paused as he saw all the people gathered around. Well. It certainly was that time of year again. In any case, he was satisfied with the amount of fear he had gathered, and seeing the pumpkin burst into seeds was a fair spectacle. Oh. Speaking of seeds... he bent down and scooped up a few.
He really hoped this wasn't the supposed payment. That would be so damn cheap.
Again, he wasn't really one for parties, or even really liked large crowds all that much, but this was the greatest festivity in all of Halloween. After all... this was their holiday. After some thought, he took out his phone to give Mitsu a call. This may be a good start before they head out for their travels. Being what it was, there should be nothing wrong happening here.
There better not be.

"Mitsu? The Halloween and fear celebration has started in the town hall. Would you care to join me? I will be here for a little while."
He hoped the crowds wouldn't put her off too much. After hanging up, he placed his phone back into his pockets and went on to look around at the various people have come thus far. In the sea of various people, only a handful were familiar.
And there certainly was no shortage of things to do. But for now, he waited quietly.
Danny bumped along on Rikki's back and said, "Sto-o-o-op running!" This ride was too bumping and she did not like it. Much kicking and wiggling ensued, her own FEAR lantern clanging against Rikki's chest. Danny still had on her Trick or Treater outfit, and the whole thing was rather strange feeling.
The crowd had all gathered around the gigantic pumpkin in the square, and Danny was no different. She sung happily and loudly, the good old "This is Halloween" song, just like everyone else in the square. This holiday was great. Maybe even better than her birthday. Luckily the pumpkin had Danny so distracted, she didn't even SEE the sparkle house.
Suddenly everything grew quiet. Danny's eyes were glued to the pumpkin, but her arms were squarely fixed around Rikki's neck, like a child squeezing a teddy bear.
Of course, like every year, the pumpkin exploded, FEAR and seeds flying everywhere. The excitement had Danny reaching up to pluck seeds out of the air, and then hopping off Rikki to pick them up off the ground, like the little scareling she was.
With her quarry safely tucked away into her skull pouch, she resumed standing instead of crouching, tucking her hand into Rikki's, and lifting her dinosaur hood so she could see him more properly. "Happy Halloween, screech!"
Thannas had followed Nox and the others here, his good eye wide with excitement as his tail flailed about him with puppyish enthusiasm. As the pumpkin exploded, he grinned, bouncing up and down as silver seeds showered everywhere, all but howling his glee to the world. Bending instantly, he scooped up a seed or two, bemused and entertained by the way that they glittered. Scanning the crowd, he looked for anyone he knew...perhaps Yosuke or Aksaja, and if he was lucky, perhaps the dash of colored delight that was Merry would be here as well. Happy as a clam, he hardly knew what to try first. Wobbing over in the vague direction of the Sparkle House, as it seemed particularly eye-catching.
It was Halloween. There were friends to be made, and friends to be enjoyed, the air about them sang with holiday spirit, and Than had never been happier. "HAPPY HALLOWEEEEEEEEEEEN!" He chortled, waving at completely random passers-by as he made his way through the crowd, clawed hands catching at his robes as he darted about to explore. This was AWESOOOOOOOOOOOME! OvO!!!!!!!!

Calder was excited. His tail flickering as he jumped up and down as he watched all the lights and everyone gathered tightly around him. Calder had helped Barth get here, and a smile was over Calder's face as he shouted with everyone, happy to cheer and be involved.
It was then that a sound of hooves came over and the teenager was picked up and nuzzled.
"Dad!" Calder cried out, nuzzling back.
"My big stallion. I missed you!" He cooed, setting his son down and fixing his hair. His mother was beside him, dressed in a simple dress, and brushed her white hair over her shoulder. Leaning in, she nuzzled her son before looking at the demon beside him.
"I see your demon with." She said, her voice deep and silky like cool water, her eyes intense as she regarded Barth. Oh yes, she knew now who he was. Calder had a talk when he was recovering from the exiling.
"Uh, Barth. This is my mom and dad." Calder eased back to take Barth's hand, leading him over to them. "Mom and dad. Barth."
The festivities were a nice (and stark) contrast to all of the seriousness that had occurred not too long ago. With her tail swishing behind her, Xiu watched the event unfold from a distance with a smile, a little swell of pride and happiness filling her chest as she watched the pumpkin burst in a storm of candy and seeds. Well, there had been quite a bit on her mind...but if only for just today, she would try to cast her worries aside and enjoy herself.
She followed everyone's lead to bend down and gather up a few seeds, and then straightened up to scan the area in search of friends. With so many people gathered here, it was hard to pick out any particular individuals among the whole crowd.
Well, that was okay. Xiu was certain that she would run into them soon enough, and there was always the potential of making new friends here as well! After all, there were plenty of students she didn't recognize, and not everyone present was a student of Amity either.

Rikki laughed, happily letting Danny go to collect some seeds. He pocketed his own treasure and tugged his ghoulfriend closer by her hand, pressing a warm kiss to her cheek. "Happy Halloween, darkling."
He hummed contentedly as he looked around at the large gathering. There were so many faces her recognized, and some that he didn't. But everyone seemed so happy. It was great, seeing everyone just in a good mood for once. It so rarely happened these days. His fingers tightened on Danny's slightly and he turned to grin at her. "I wonder were all our friends are? We should probably find them before they get themselves into trouble."

Over all that whole scaring human scarelings thing had been rather fun…but it was most welcomed to return to Halloween and the refreshing FEAR…especially tonight.
With how lively and energetic everything was, Hel couldn’t help but be excited, grinning from ear to ear as well as she followed her fellow Halloweeners back to town. The ghoul paused as silver seeds happened to be all around, and bent to scoop up a few. She tucked them into her apron, and looked around, easily spotting her bro once more, and she bounded over to him.
“Shun!” She called out, grinning widely still as she approached, and then held out her fist for him to bump. “Happy Halloween! How did your night with the scarelings fair?”
