From what Ofelia could tell based on hearing doors open and closed, and from whatever conversations she could make out from having her entire side of head pressed against the adjacent wall, Rep was awake and open for visitors. To a normal, sane, person that would have meant only Jordan and Harrison and maybe anyone that was male, but seeing as Ofelia thought she saw a girl come out (why did she look familiar), part of her brain ignored everything and assumed that Rep would totally be okay with her coming into his room.
It wasn't like he could or would do anything to her being all strapped down to a bed and what have you but she wasn't really in the best condition to have anything done to her should he figure it out. Moving Rep had torn the stitches in both her shoulders and placed a strain on her neck, prompting the teen to have been bed-bound for most of the day and then placed in a double-sling for the rest of it. Her escape attempts had also done her no favors, instead extending the length of her stay, and so being stir crazy and wanting to talk to someone completely outweighed personal safety.
And so it was with typical Ofelia nature (which meant reckless abandon) the redheaded teen shuffled into the room next door in the ICU, taking care to knock against the frame with her ankle as she approached. Her arms were bound so she couldn't use her hand but her foot certainly made some noise. So did the cursing that followed from smacking her ankles against the metal jam. "Rep, ya awake? Jus' comin' ta check on mah neighbor."
She did her best to keep the super happiness out of her voice that she normally did. Not everyone was taking this whole no weapons means no voice in my head thing as well as she was and judging by how hurt Rep had been someone was taking too much advantage of that.

Rep spent a lot of the time in the infirmary drifting in and out of sleep. Painkillers helped, and there generally wasn't much else to do, especially unable to move his arms. Even reading was pretty much beyond him. Being a normal human was ******** boring, and tedious.
The racket Ofie made entering the room made him jolt out of his sleep sitting up with a flinch, as if expecting someone else entirely more sinister than her. When he blearily registered her bright hair and lined up his brain enough to match her to her identity, he relaxed again with a pained sigh. "I am now."

"Good, good. Ah've been meanin' ta stop by an' see ya but ya had yer boyfriends wit'cha an' wasn' sure yer wellbein' was ready fer more than jus' them." Ofelia was, occasionally, really astute about things like who someone wanted with them and whether or not it was totally okay for her to eavesdrop until she figured out the correct time to show up. For Rep's sake it had actually been the doctors not letting her out, something or another about wounds and annoyance and totally killing their buzzes, but they couldn't keep her in for long with many other people coming in who needed more attention.
Scuttling over to the side of his bed she plopped down in a chair, close enough that she could see the extent of his wounds yet far enough that if she leaned back he couldn't get to her. The teen didn't know how much about her rescuing him that he knew and she wasn't really going to be telling him anytime soon - Rep didn't always strike her as the super grateful type.
At least not grateful to her. Or women. Or her for being a woman.
It didn't really matter though, she was glad to see he was alive after losing so much blood. "Ah'm really glad ta see yer still alive. There was so much blood everywhere, wasn' too sure ya were gonna make it."
So much for her not really talking about it.

Rep smirked at Ofie rather dismally. "Well, aye, people like me don't die easily apparently. I guess I just have a lot of blood to spare." He'd been lucky, the doctors had told him that much, if he'd been left there too much longer there'd have been a chance they couldn't save him. It was a chilling thought, and for different reasons than he'd thought. Once upon a time he'd just be upset he'd almost lost his own life, this time he was more upset about the fact he'd have really hurt the people nearest him by dying. It was an odd perspective on things.
"You found me?" he asked, quirking a brow at her as the thought finally occurred to him.
"Was it you who brought me back?"

"Oh, uh." Well, Ofelia hadn't meant to talk about it which made total sense as to now why she was flabbergasted that he asked her. Ofelia had planned on being totally content to let him think a guy saved him (unless of course he read back on twitter which she doubted) so when he asked her point blank she ran out of things to say.
So, being Ofie, she told the truth. "Yup, Ah did." She really, really had to resist the urge to apologize because for some reason she felt like she might have done something wrong.

Rep sighed heavily, an action that made his ribs protest loudly at him. When he inhaled it was more carefully. "Why?" Was all he could think to ask, why had she rescued him when most people on the island, least of all her, had any reason at all to be concerned over his death.

Ofelia frowned. "Well, duh. Ah saved ya 'cause we're friends Rep. Ah'm not gonna leave ya there ta die, that's jus' stupid."
It seemed like common sense to her not to leave an injured person and even now she responded as to why she did it without so much as a breath of hesitation. Ofelia would have reached out to save anyone on the Island, she liked everyone to at least that extent, and so maybe if she knew to be she would have been a little offended that Rep wanted to know why she even bothered.
Now it was her turn to ask a question. "Why are ya askin'? Ya think Ah should'a jus' left ya there?"

Friends. It surprised him that anyone would consider him a friend when he extended that courtesy to so few. Trust was incredibly difficult for him, a weakness you extended only to those you knew would never abuse it, even accidentally. He didn't trust anyone other than his guys by sheer necessity, so few people knew him or read him well enough not to sting him with their callous and often inadvertent comments. He was careful and assumed by default that other people would be too.
"There are people on the island who would though. My attacker did for one thing. So its not perhaps as weird as you might think."
He wanted to shrug his shoulders, but knew better than to try in his current condition. "I'm asking because you of all people have little reason to help me. I've never done anything good for you at all. And yet here you are." A smirk tugged at his lips. "I'll never understand good people."

"Not everyone on this island is yer attacker though, an' man Ah'd hate ta be that person when ya get out." Ofelia wasn't stupid, she knew Rep would want revenge and would get it by any means. There was little that stood in his way, be it person or rules or whatever, so whomever did this had her pity - for whatever it was worth. "Jus' make sure when ya get 'em ya do it in a place easy ta clean up. Ah . . never wanna have ta wash that much blood up again, 'kay? An' lemme know ta look the other way so Ah dun save 'em too an' ruin yer work." The teen grinned, which is what she did best, and just went on saying whatever it was she wanted to say. These few short words were probably the most she and Rep had ever exchanged that didn't involve him trying to kill her or having his boyfriends there to stop him.
Rep went on to say something else and the red-head was forced to mull over his words. It took less then a second to do so. "Also, whatcha mean 'me, of all people'? Have ya really done sommin' so bad ta me that Ah'd never wanna forgive ya?" An eyebrow was raised.

There was a cruel twist to his smile as she mentioned his attacker. Revenge was indeed a certainty, the lurking hatred nursed and fed like a captive animal in his thoughts. He just needed to mend, to mend and for Tracey to return. Then she would suffer, suffer the way he had. And then some.
"Aye, on both counts. It won't be anywhere I can get s**t pinned on me." he'd never give them reason to take Tracey away again.
As she asked why he said what he did, he leaned back a bit heavier on the pillow, looking tired and more vulnerable than his usual arrogant self. It was hard to keep up bravado when he was weak, exhausted and soaked in painkillers. "Well, aye. I did. Nearly killing you on whims for one thing." Violence came so easy to him, like another person who he flipped to when pushed too hard. "I've never been the nicest to you or anything."

"Nearly is a wonderful word yanno." Ofelia wanted to lean back too back the wraps on her shoulders prevented it, forcing her to stay sitting upright. They also itched like it was no one's business and so every moment or two she shifted in the chair with her best attempt to scratch her back against the metal frame being undertaken. From any standpoint it might have looked like she was having a seizure. "An' hell, s'not like Ah've been nice ta ya either. Most'a what Ah got Ah figur'd Ah deserved? Ah dunno."
It was hard to dampen Ofelia's spirits, mostly because her river of denial was so long it practically could have filled the ocean a million fold and still never run dry. "Plus Ah'm not a good person."

"Aye well, you were pretty upset about "nearly" at the time, so I figured it would have stuck with you since then. Most people hold grudges." He watched her scratch her back with a sort of interest, she was a strange one, but who exactly wasn't in Sun these days? You had to be a bit strange to want to be there in the first place. "And I dunno, maybe you deserved some of it. I mean like, obviously you deserved what you got, I mean as a woman. Women always deserve what they get. But." It was difficult to explain the disparity between his loathing of women and his personal estimation of Ofie as different, so he gave up the attempt.
"As for you not being a good person well. I've yet to see you do any s**t to the contrary. Everything you've done around me seemed pretty good."

"Life's really, really too short for grudges an' even if Ah did carry one fer ya it wouldn' be a petty 'nough one that would let me let ya die." Ofelia stopped trying to scratch her back, a faint sigh of defeat escaping her lips. Stupid bandages and slings on her arms, one day she would get revenge. "No no, the only way ta settle a grudge would'a been fer me ta kill ya mahself. Lettin' ya die 'cause'a someone else's work totally defeats the purpose." She nodded as if affirming something with herself. "Plus mah way would'a been way, way more subtle but still 'nough fer ya ta know it was at mah hands. Like poison in yer food maybe, or lockin' ya in a room wit' the key jus' outta reach." There was apparently a long list of ways Ofelia could get revenge on someone that totally seemed horrible, and she thought on them for a second before figuring out that this was completely hurting her cause. " . . . .ya do know that's all metaphorical talk, yeah? We're friends an' Ah got nothin' 'gainst'cha anymore. Kinda pointless ta carry a hatchet when the blade ya've got is so much bigger than any'a mine could ever hope ta be."
She probably should not have mentioned poison in his food, now he'd never want to eat anything of hers again. That thought really depressed Ofelia and in typical fashion her emotions were worn on her face. She was horrified, that meant another person who would never want to share a meal with her, and the thoughts of eating alone flooded her mind and totally washed over her in a slap on the back of self-pity. Maybe if she moved on in the conversation he'd forget and ignore it? Ofelia wanted to shrivel up and die.
"Yanno, Ah kinda...like bein' a woman though maybe bein' a man wouldn' be so bad sometimes. Though Ah gotta say havin' boobs probably saved mah life the time ya got me wit'cher weapon. Though the healing really sucked an itched an' man, yeah." It really had, not that she'd had time to dwell on it since they went on that mission right after she got out of the coma. "Also yanno b'for yer talk 'bout me bein' a woman an' suckin' woulda pissed me off an' made me wanna snap back at'cha but now? S'kinda. . .endearin'? At least if ya hate me 'cause Ah'm a woman means yer thinkin' 'bout me in some kinda way." The redhead paused and shifted her weight. "Ta be forgotten or ignored is a fate worse than death."

Rep listened to Ofie talk, at first pleased that she wouldn't let him die, before his approval twisted into another emotion entirely as she listed off ways she would preferably kill him. It made his stomach twist. Poisoned food. It wasn't something you wanted to hear from someone who made so much food. For the first time in a while he was glad he was on a drip. Metaphorical only she assured him, but it unsettled him pretty deeply, he was used to people going into explicit detail of what exactly they'd like to do to him.
"Erm. Yeah. I guess." He didn't really know what to say to it either, he was helpless, it wasn't like threats of "just try it" or "like you could" would really work here.
And then he was reminded again of almost killing her, it wasn't really what he wanted to dwell on either, a lot of his spars these days ending in brutal over-run damage thanks to the nature of Tracey's size. "I dunno so much, most of the time I'd agree, I'd rather be hated than ignored, because it's so close to love. But today I'm not feeling it at all. Today I'd rather be ignored"

"Hmm, izzat yer polite way'a sayin' ya want me ta leave ya in peace fer now? Did. . .Ah burn out mah welcome that quickly?" Ofelia asked, her tone oddly quiet. with Rep she was slowly but surely learning to read the hidden meanings, to understand the tones and messages behind simple words and phrases. She still sucked at it and was horrible at knowing what was in the atmosphere but in this case Ofelia felt like she might have hit it on the money. "Izzat....'cause Ah said sommin' 'bout poisoning food?" Anyone who knew Ofelia and her usual blindness to issues might have been somewhat proud to notice she knew she'd messed up somewhere. Or maybe she was just being overly sensitive for a change and it wasn't worth the trouble she was going through.
She still wanted to talk to him, for whatever little it was wortth, and so she felt maybe an apology was in order? It had been half in jest, half serious but what part did Rep take it as? Ofelia was getting tired of thinking too much. "Ah really do hope ya know that Ah'd never poison yer food, or anyone's food fer that matter. Cookin an' bakin's mah pride an' joy, kinda mah only reason fer doin' stuff here. Other than killin' monsters an' getting killed in return."
