Roll a Nine: Seashore Field: Split down the middle between land and sea, this field compliments land and water type pokemon. On the west end of the field is the land section: fine grained sand gradually slopes downward to meet the salt water on the east end of the battleground. A single palm tree wavers lightly in the breeze while shells are scattered in random places in and on the sand. In the water half of the battleground, the water laps at the sand much like at a real beach; when it retracts it leaves behind strands of seaweed and pieces of coral. Both are found under the water, offering shelter for water-types (or those who can hold their breath for great periods of times). This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GROUND and WATER type attacks.

Kytti and her Deerling entered the arena and looked around.
"This is such a great place to battle, let's have some fun!" called Kytti to her Deerling.

Enide curiously pecked at the seashells on the field as soon as she was summoned.

"Let's start this off with a spark! called Kytti.
Willow wildly raced towards the Murkrow while sparks started to fly off her.
She bleated happily as she charged in.

Enide was too distracted by the seashells to notice the charging Deerling and was hit.

"Torment!"

Enide cackled and danced around the Deerling, ""

Willow struggled from the torment and started to cry.
"I hope those tears are what I think they are," Kytti thought to herself.
Willow stopped her crying for a moment and stared straight at the opponent.

Enide didn't feel particularly moved by the tears, but her defenses lowered nonetheless.

"Calm Mind, raise your attack!" Sienna commanded

Willow noticed the pokemon raising it's defenses and charged in wildly. Electricity sparked from it's body, increasing as she advanced.
"Good choice my dear!" Kytti cheered.

Enide began flapping furiously after she was hit with that last attack.

Willow dodged the attack deftly and started to cry again.
"You will be ok Girl, let's keep it going," Kytti told her Deerling.

Enide felt a little bad for her opponent this time, and her defense lowered.

Willow used the break and charged in again towards the pokemon. Electricity started to build and grew stronger the closer she got.

Enide was on the last of her energy now, but beat her wings in the direction of the Deerling.

Willow was hit by the Wing attack and fought back.
She charged in and faded just before she hit.
