My sister bought me the Hearthfire DLC and has spurred me on a little Skyrim mod binge.
I've always loved finding and installing mods for TES games, though in general I stick to aesthetic stuff.
And since I thankfully have a computer that runs Skyrim extremely well I thought I'd show you guys a little(not rubbing it in your faces, really).

I like texture packs, lighting mods, other small little things that change the game slightly without making it too different.
I think at the moment the biggest thing I have that doesn't change the look of the game is Midas Magic(because you can never have enough magic).
I'll probably be adding to this thread when I eventually get the Skyrim Realistic Overhaul texture pack downloaded(it's 2am, and even if it finishes too late to play and take some screenshots).
But I do really want to show off what I have put in thus far, the most effective thing being the ENB Cinematic Lighting(though some things in it irk me, which I'll change when I get around to it).

Aesthetic mods I currently have installed at the moment(adding links later if wanted):
ENB Cinematic Lighting (Dark Nights and Caves)
WATER - Water And Terrain Enhancement Redux
XCE - Xenius Character Enhancement

Most of these screenshots were taken as I meandered around doing quests and thought "That looks good".
Also, links from Steam because PB killed the quality and I'm lazy.

When I modded Morrowind, it was mostly texture and lighting mods as well. I downloading quest and clothing/armor mods as well. My favorite mod involved expanding the Telvanni House quest lines past where Beth ended it. (the name of the mod escapes me at the moment.)

I would give anything to have Midas Magic on the 360, some of those spells looks beyond AMAZING!

Your Windhelm looks great, the vanilla texture of Windhelm just looks like a mess.

My only problem with quests in the voiced games (Oblivion, Skyrim) is that when people do try to do voice acting for the characters... it just ruins it a little, not saying it's bad but... it just doesn't fit quite in so sometimes I prefer them to just not. Maybe I need to find quests just centered around journals, books or notes.

I... actually haven't gotten around to getting any of the Midas Magic yet, because it involves collecting up certain ingredients to create, but I think I started a list of things I needed to make sure to grab.

Well, the texture I'm using in those current screenshots (other than the water and textures for humans) is just the high resolution vanilla textures. Like I said, the lighting itself makes a huge difference. I'll hopefully get some screenshots with the texture pack I have downloaded later today.
