Name of Kid here:May BelleFear Amount of Kid:0May were...a girl. A normal girl. As such, she loves cute things as much as candies and pies. But this 'Halloween' thingie? She's just not so sure: she's totally a chicken inside despite always putting out a tough front while watching scary movies... But there's this bet, and she wanted she's not a chicken. Times infinity.

She's getting this done. After all, that was just a scary story, and that bet was a foolish one.
Flashlight...don't need them. Cross...? Well...no. Cuddly friend?
"...yes." She muttered in small voice, taking in arm Mister Pooh. She did know about this part of the story, where teddy bears are actually made to protect kids from nightmare creatures...but she continue to reject that.
I wasn't afraid. Mister Pooh will get lonely if I don't hold him.
"There's nothing...*hmph* Should have expected that." Said her again, checking all of the suspicious places inside her room, and lastly opening the drawer.
Her many dress was stored inside...and she checked the back part of that Cedar wood furniture: there's no door or anything, just a tough board.
"G...good thing Alan was away. He'll think I'm chicken when he saw me like this..."
The owner of the bunk bed above her, Alan, was gone in a vacation to the countryside, where he could spook people using his strange wardrobe that's created last week...but it make no point remembering his silly brother's costume.
"Let's...sleep."
Albeit her hands shaking, she proceeds to flip the light switch off, dashed to her bed and pulled the blanket over her head. It maybe just her imagination, but why this night feel colder than usual? [LIGHTS OFF!!!]

Alright, so far so good. Belladonna really counted herself lucky that she was doing such a marvelous job of scaring little baby humans thus far. The phrase 'like taking candy from a baby' sprang to mind, but she only grinned wickedly and figured yes, that was true if the 'candy' really equated to FEAR. It was all so much fun that as she slipped in quietly through the door, the witch felt herself getting a little... Brave. Dangerous thing that, for it always meant the witch would go out of her way to be as ridiculous and overly dramatic as possible. In this case, it meant somehow managing to climb up the bookshelf so she could actually hide on top of the bookcase. It was totally sturdy! There was absolutely no reason for her to fear about it toppling over. And even if it did, she was sure that could have been used to her advantage. This was all going so well, why not get a little bold? Not really able to sit fully upright, the witch instead hunched there a moment before she reached down and noisily pulled a book off the shelf. She waited a few seconds, sure to let the sharp silence permeate around the room before she began to flip through the book, sure to make a bit of noise as she shuffled each page over. In retrospect that wasn't that scary, but baby humans frightened so easily! It was surely enough for this little one too.

*clunk* "!" May jumped a little beneath her blanket cover. It sounds like something being dropped from the bookshelf beside her bedside table. *flip* "...?" *flip* *flip* May was a bit puzzled when she heard that strange noise. It's like a sound that book pages made when being flipped... But by whom? Her brother were out in a holiday vacation. Neither her parent would have something to do with it, as the only kind of book that adores her and his brother's shared bookshelf is ones of tales and legends, not the kind they used in their daily works. Maybe it's the wind? But she made sure the windows are closed. After all, it's already Fall and the weather is a bit chilly past the last week. She then peeked out from beneath her cover. There's no one there... But the sound of pages being flipped still continues. Her fear start building, as her body trembles... AyeAvast No changes yet...but a little more push...

There were many mixed feelings to seeing the witch handle the human's books. On one hand, Agsil was impossibly curious to get a peek into some of them herself and would be a little cross if they became injured during this... pranking. On the other... well. Whatever scared the scareling, right?
The dragon girl herself had found a hiding spot on top of the top bunk. There was so much space up here! It was amazing~ Though she knew she'd likely have to move quick to hide if necessary... For the time being, she raised her claws up to the ceiling and began to drag them loudly against the white surface. She could also leave the human a treat - ink marks against the ceiling. Not that they were visible in the dark... Eyeing the various objects along the shelves next to her, Agsil flicked her tail hard against the shelves, trying to see if she could jostle some things loose.

Rosy found herself this time in a closet as she phased into the room. Blinking, she glance around for a moment as she listens to the different noises. It would seem there were others in this room as well. With a chuckle, she carefully peeks out to see where she was located only to find the bed right there next to her.
This was perfect.
Darting back into the closet, she slowly pushes it open so is make a rather loud but long creak as she pushes it partly open. Turning towards the dresses, she picks one at random before tossing it out of the closet and onto the floor as she giggles out loud.

*skreeeeechh* "EEEK!" Now that's scary. Even inside her blanket barrier the sound of the ceiling being grazed by someone...some thing can't spare her ears from catching it. And as it isn't enough disturbance in her mind, a loud *thud!* resounded in the supposedly empty room, causing her to even shriek louder than the first. After a few moment of silence, May peeked out from the cover... *criiiiiiiiiiieeeekkkk.....* Only to find that her closet door's slowly opening. "A.....a....a..." PlunkAnd there's her best dress, seemingly ejected out by some thing that lurks inside the closet. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!That was her limit. Abandoning the safety of her blanket and Mister Pooh's company, she jumped from the bed and quickly scrambled to the light switch. *click* Nobody was in the room. Despite that fact, there's some oddities in that room. A book that has fallen from the cupboard, a trail ink in the ceiling, and her open closet with one of her best dress thrown from. "....w...what...is." She trembled like never before, her face is now ghastly pale as she just stood on the center of that mess... Kaily Koreco +20 Fear from double hysteria! Krista_Darkangel_Silme +30 Fear for the action finisher! Now in the verge of breaking into tears, she WANTS SO MUCH to admit that she's just a scaredy-cat despite of her outer demeanor, but to think that would cause her to be the class's laughingstock, or affect her crush's opinion on her? "...no more." She rubbed her palm against her watery eyes and opened the drawer. She took out some garlic, holy-water loaded waterguns, crosses and holy books and flashlight, throws it all on her bed and erected a Holy-items fort. "Whoever or whatever you are, the GAME is ON." She said again, before hitting the switch off. She already know that she can't sleep tonight, but that would be just fine if she could prove that all of this was just a joke. [Light is OFF again!](Some seriousness... blaugh )

Oooookay, time to try more of this scaring business! As she crept into the room, Xiu gave her surroundings a quick lookover, trying to figure out what she could take advantage of. Eying the empty upper bunk bed, the ghoul grabbed onto the shelves and swiftly made her way up, trying not to attract the attention of the scareling that lay on the lower bed.
Not yet, anyways.
The baku kept herself low on the bed, careful to ensure that the moonlight streaming through the window by the bed would not make her cast too obvious of a shadow. Glancing up, she eyed the toys for a moment before yanking one down as quietly as she could. She would have to do this just right...
Xiu began to shift on the mattress above so that the bunk bed began to creak above the scareling's head, first slowly and subtly, and then with more intensity. At the same time, she lifted one of her hands, angling it slightly so that the moonlight cast a distorted shadow on the opposite wall. Slowly, she lowered her hand, moving as if the hand was creeping down to grab the scareling...
And then, with her other hand, she quickly tossed the toy she had been hanging from the the ceiling down onto the ground beside the lower bed.

Carefully keeping herself hidden, Rosy had to cover her mouth to not laugh out loud at the scareling comment. Did she really think she had a chance? Dropping down to the bottom of the closet, she slips through it and under the bed. Hearing the stuff land on the bed, she blinks curiously upwards wondering what in the world this one was up to?
No matter, she was scared and had a feeling it wouldn't take much more.
Lifting off the ground, she checks to make sure she is unable to be seen as she reaches forward with her hand towards the nightstand. With a loud cackle then a slap with her other hand to the underside of the bed, she pulls the drawer as hard as she can and sends it flying across the room.
There was a reason she calls herself the Spook, and this little scareling was gonna learn fast.

With a hand clamped over her mouth to keep from laughing outright at the human's response to their terrorizing, Agsil had slipped between the shelves and the bunkbeds to keep herself hidden. Her Fear meter was going up alright, and she was having a scream.
Pulling herself back up onto the top bunk, she was surprised to see the new ghoul (Xiu) up there now. She glanced around for Rosy, sure she'd heard the ghost... but took a moment to watch the baku work. Really, this scareling down below was asking it. Literally.
Challenge accepted, human. Challenge accepted.
Remaining up on the top bunk, the dragon almost scoffed to smell the garlic. What were they, vampires?
Turning to grip the shelves against the wall behind her, she began to shake them violently, hoping to send as many objects to the ground as possible. Simultaneously, she began to growl lowly, heightening it into a snarl.

*criek!* There it goes again. A creaking sound on the upper bunk-bed, followed with some shadow extending on the walls. May doesn't scream at this time, but instead pulled out the holy watergun and pushes its trigger twice toward the wall...causing the wallpaper to be wet as the drains below. *plunk!* Her second favorite doll, Minni the Croc was dropped from the bunk as well. Her beady eyes stares almost creepily cute. Taking precaution for some possession-type devil, she quickly positioned the cross atop of the doll and muttered some latin words she learned from Supernatural, finished with "Begone!" before adding it to her list of co-battler. She'll need more friends to successfully escape this night...or unravel who is playing tricks on her. Kaiyumi Defense against trick has been upped! Unless it's a scary thing that would cause a mental breakdown in this state she'll just brush it as 'some prank!' *BANG* A loud thump shakes her bed's underside. Again for precaution, she tosses some garlic without looking below, and some more to the top bunk: she'll need to evacuate to higher ground in this cas- *FUWMP!* The drawer ejected from its respective slot. Taking the small crosses like a trained ninja, she flungs it randomly across the room while climbing the ladder to the top of the bunkbed. There- *THUNK!* "Ouch! What is-!?" She could swear that her head bump into something, but even after turning on the flashlight she couldn't see anything. Then the shelves directly in front of her begin to shake...violently. Books and toys alike are thrown off from their position. Poltergeist??? In that case-She quickly opened the Holy Books and put her hand on it, thus recites: "Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, thrust into Hell Satan-and all the evil spirits who prowl through the world-seeking the ruin of souls-" "Amen!!!"And throws the hefty book to the direction of the would-be ghost. (Good children don't imitate this. Actually, don't imitate this even if you're bad. sweatdrop ) There goes her last defense. That would settle that down... Kailey Koreco Your response against poltergeist countermeasure? Would it?*edit: sorry for the wrong quote.... xp )

With the tossing of the garlic under the bed, Rosy wrinkles her nose up before shaking her head. Look like now would be a good time to go, after all, she got her scares. It was time to move onto another scareling.
Carefully phasing upwards so the kid couldn't see her, she gives a small wave to Agsil and the other ghoul before going right through the wall and out of the house.

W...what was this scareling doing? Xiu furrowed her brows in confusion at the chanting, turning to raise her brows at the other two ghouls who were present. Was this what humans were taught to do to fend off their kind? ...Did these things ever work?
Perking up when one of the ghouls waved, the baku smiled and waved back in goodbye. Well, looked like they had less people to scare this child now but...surely they would be fine, right?
...Once she was done with all this...chanting and throwing garlic and stuff, that was.
Xiu waited until the scareling was done before sliding off of the upper bunk of the bed, keeping low and to the shadows and she gathered a few fallen books in her arms and crept towards the hefty tome that the kid had tossed a few moments ago. Picking it up, she counted to ten in her head, letting the silence settle over the room before hurling the big book back in the opposite direction. She took particular care not to actually hit the scareling, purposefully aiming too low or too far to the sides.
Nope, this wasn't over by a longshot.Rathurue XDD! Oops, I think you meant to quote me @ that first part? P:

*huff* *huff* Her breath is still in disarray from chanting that long prayer in one go, but the rumbling has settled. "It ended! Ya-" SWISH. Aaand there goes the Holy Book. Passing juust a tiny bit from her forehead. May could just only stare in disbelief, her eyes tracing the arc that supposedly-effective countermeasure made when it traveled across the room, striking smack dab in the room's door center. "A...aaaauuuu...." Looking down from the bunkbed, she ultimately reached despair and raises the LAST, LAST line of defense: "Mister Pooh! Please protect meeeee!" She said while sobbing and nearly cry, throwing the cuddly Teddy Bear to the bookcase. This will work, right? This will surely work, right??? PleaseworkpleaseworkpleaseworkpleaseworkPLEASEWORK!!!Kaiyumi Well, wrong tag! She's hanging on her last thread. 50 combo is possible now xd And I'll say, that's no way to use your teddy talk2hand

This scareling had courage, Xiu would definitely give her that. The baku smiled a little, flicking her tail as she watched the little girl try to keep calm. It was pretty admirable, to be sur--
...
Did she just throw a teddy bear? Crouching down, she scooped it up in her arms, turning it over thoughtfully. Well, maybe she could make use of this?
Moving back to the shelves, Xiu gently tossed the stuffed bear onto the top bunk before climbing up herself, offering the other ghoul a friendly wink before getting to work. Turning the bear--"Pooh", the child had called it?--upside down, she grabbed it by the foot and shuffled near the edge of the bed.
And then, without any sound or warning, she dropped the bear down, holding it by it's foot and letting it dangle in the view of the scareling in bed.Rathurue Poor, poor Teddy. And now it looks like a possessed bear or something?!
