"The sun is setting in the west, Sansa, so we head that way." The pale lioness let her head slink low, ears pinned against her skull in obvious displeasure at this entire conversation. It seemed as if she were explaining herself every five minutes. In typical Sansy-pants style, of course, her sister made a fool of herself trying to outsmart her supposedly younger sibling, but Arya was not about to stop her in that little endeavor. This particular topic, however, seemed more redundant than outright stupid.
Sansa, meanwhile, nearly went cross-eyed looking down her nose at the other female, "Obviously the sun sets in the west, Arya, I just don't understand why we're going that way." She sniffed, nostrils flaring momentarily as she looked in the opposite direction. Her expression was the perfect picture of complete and utter boredom as she drawled, "It is not as if we're going anywhere in particular."
"I'd thought you didn't care to wander in circles, either." Arya flicked the dark feline with her tail as she passed, "Quit being so snooty."

Mandara didn't have much sense of time anymore, not that he really ever did. Such a fact never seemed to bother him, even if pointed out to him. He just kept on living as days and nights blurred together. That was never a bad thing, right? The earthy coloured lion had gotten somewhat better about feeding himself, though he still looked raggedy. There was no helping that, as he was used to being a bit rugged in the mountains. Mandara hadn't quite acclimated to the temperature change, so the fact that the day was ending, was nice. The cooling temperature that was being brought on by the encroaching night helped chill his pelt. For all the wandering that he'd done, the male was never very attentive while walking. He had the tendency to day dream while roaming, and that took most of his attention.

It would miff Arya to no end that Sansa had apparently scented another lion on the breeze before she did, which was exactly why the older sister staved off on informing the other lioness of the male's presence until the very last moment. As they came around a copse of trees, she figured they were bound to be running in to him so she remarked, " Funny, I swear I caught the scent of someone or other just a moment ago." " Then they must at least be time and a half smellier than you," Arya's childish retort was cut off as she nearly ran into the other lion as she came around a bush. Her paws scrambled to halt her forward motion, though she made no sound and kept from snarling at him in surprise. Her gold eyes were wide with surprise all the same as a jumbled and mildly embarrassed greeting poured from her mouth, " Oh, goodness, I'm so sorry! I didn't know…" Sansa was nearly bursting with barely quelled laughter, making some valiant attempt to remain ladylike and demure until a snort and quiet guffaw exploded from her maw, " Oh, oh… your face, Arya. Priceless."

Despite the close proximity to the lionesses, he hadn't heard or smelled them. Until it too late, of course. His broken attention snapped back together, as he almost walked into and potentially topple over a sandy coloured lion. Er, lioness. Yes, that one smelt rather feminine, as did the darker one that was trying to withhold laughter. It confused Mandara, for a second, that how similar they were. Almost the same markings, and both were brown. Just.. one was lighter and the other was darker. Were they twins? No wait, twins looked exactly the same, didn't they? Maybe they were fraternal twins. The brown male shook his head slightly, the topic was starting to hurt his fragile brain with confusion. His bright yellow eyes looked from one lioness to the other, noting how clean they looked. They looked rather clean and prim, as opposed to.. himself. He was such a rag tag looking lion.
" Um.. Good evening? "

In an effort to reclaim some sort of control over her abrupt stop, Arya folded her hind legs so that her rump hit the ground with a solid thump on her recoil. Her sister was still too busy with her own amusement, rekindled by the prompt sit, to make conversation for the time being so Arya was left with something she considered a bit of a weakness: polite conversation with strangers. " Uh, good evening." The darker lioness snorted, and would have been more amused at the male taking note of their cleanliness (after she reassured herself that she was cleaner than her sister) and their likeness, but satisfied herself with mere joy at her sister's expense. Turning her shining eyes to the male, she giggled, " Good evening! I apologize on behalf of my sister. I'm afraid she is a bit lacking in composure." She beamed a small, ruthless little sneer at Arya before looking to the lion, " I'm Sansa, and this is Arya."

Mandara didn't know quite what to think of the two sisters, so far. Not that he could have an opinion of them so soon. " ..Nice to meet the both of you, tonight. I'm Mandara'Smriti. Or just ' Mandara ', for short, since I know that is a bit of an awkward mouthful. " he said, a slight rough tone to his voice, trying the project a friendly smile to the two lionesses. It'd been a while since he'd interacted with others, but that was usually on a one-on-one basis. He'd never Encountered two individuals and try to strike up conversation with them. ..Them again, it was a little hard to think of things to say sometimes. " Are the two of you headed somewhere? " Mandara had hoped that it wasn't rude to ask that. Or creepy. He didn't need them spreading rumors about him that he'd.. end up forgetting. It wasn't like he'd follow them like a creeper, he was simply curious.

" A pleasure to meet you, Mandara." Arya picked up on his slightly awkward conversational skills as if he were not exactly comfortable, but considering her own verbal talents were lacking she was at a loss. Her golden eyes darted to her sister, unsure, as she flicked her tail self-consciously and sought some sort of alternative. She was a little relieved when Sansa wrapped up her mirth to take over the exchange. " No place in particular. We are wanderers." The dark female looked him over, considering his demeanor before continuing as she set her behind daintily in the dirt, " Do you live near here? Or are you also a rogue?" Her bright eyes slid to the surrounding environment as if to search out some sort of den or pack. Her lips were still curled in a bemused smile, " We were born rogues and have been wandering since our mother died." She was free with information because it was something that could not be used against her, and because she was generally a chatterbox.
