Name of Kid here: Jason Downing Fear amount of kid: 0 Jason is a geeky little kid who loves to SCIENCE! Where other little boys his age are outside with their friends and playing sports, Jason prefers to spend his time alone doing research in the library or in his room playing with his lab equipment. He doesn't really believe in monsters because proof of their existence hasn't been scientifically proven yet, but he would welcome the chance to study them should they actually be real.

Jason had been putting himself to bed since he was five years old, much to his parents' bewilderment. Other kids fought tooth and nail for just another ten minutes, Mom, but Jason believed that keeping to a schedule was important--especially tonight. Although he didn't think monsters really existed, he also didn't want to be labeled a chicken. When it was time to go to sleep, Jason opened his closet door. There was nothing in there more dangerous than a pile of lab equipment stacked haphazardly in the small space, and Jason caught a few beakers as they rolled off the top. After placing them carefully back in the closet, he checked under the bed. How did his socks get under there? Then, he unplugged his nightlight, throwing the room into pitch darkness. Jason cautiously fumbled his way back to his bed and laid down, anticipating that this night would be just like every other night, only...darker.

Trick or Treater Godzilla was not smart. In fact, she was quite dumb. So very dumb.
In full dinosaur garb, she'd decided to hide in his toy chest. She'd thrown on her fire enchantments so the box wouldn't burn. Somewhat ironic for a flaming demon to be hiding in a box marked "TNT."
It was sort of a tight squeeze though, and Danny was fidgety, so she kept bumping into the sides of the box. Luckily, it produced a sort of shaking, rattling effect.
No one would see her there, right? Right.

Jason was more asleep than awake when he heard something rattling around. It was loud enough to nudge him into a sleepy sort of awareness. It could have been the house settling, but it sounded kind of different...and closer. "H-hello?" Jason called into the dark.

HAIR-RAISER as he was known now being a Trick or Treater slowly opened the window and slipped inside of the dark bedroom, his nails giving a quick tap tap almost as a reply to the scarelings hello he caught. Quickly he moved from the window though likely casting a shadow for a moment as he moved to slip into the closet. Placing himself in the tight space was a challenge but not an impossible one, his tail ended up catching a falling beaker before it hit the ground. Lowering his tail he rolled the beaker across the floor to have it thunk against something across the room.

Rosy decided this time to follow Spinar, and she didn't regret it. Glancing around the room, she had to stop herself from giggling as she saw the room. This would be too perfect, this human scareling was going to be so much fun to play with.
Red eyes shifting to the chalkboard, she decides this would play up with her idea real well. Without another sound, she skips towards the chalkboard long enough to drag her nails across the board. At the last second, she darts down under the bed. With a few giggles, she starts tapping under the bed in random area.

Danny heard noises skittering around the room and realized her territory was totally being stepped on. Oh nuh uh- this was her student!! HER FEAR!!
Tapping and and scratching was fine and all, but this would require a little bit more skilled work. Danny was glad she'd taken "scary lighting 101" now.
She lifted the lid of the toybox, setting her tail underneath her chin so as to distort her features. A cheshire grin cracked across her face as she stared directly at the kid on the bed.
"Hi there," she said mischievously.

The sound of the beaker rolling across the floor brought Jason fully awake, and the nails on the chalkboard made him gasp in surprise, but it wasn't until he saw and heard the creature coming out of his toybox that he screamed in fright and surprise.

The moment Mayaa climbed through the window, the smell of chemicals assaulted her nostrils. Eek! What was that smell?! She scrunched up her nose and clung to the back of the chalkboard, her weight making it creak ominously.

Although the familiar tint of science did make the witch hurt just the tiniest bit, she still slunk into the room through the door. Already there were some other students here, so Belladonna was only quietly padded across the floor and hid underneath his science table. Perhaps it wasn't the best hiding spot for anyone who looked could see her just sitting under the table, but whatever! It wasn't like this kid could see her, and that was the big thing. Both her hands grabbed the side of the table and shook, so that the beakers and little things on top rattled noisily. But that seemed so little, not quite enough... Carefully the witch reached up and flailed her hand around until she knocked one of the beakers to the floor. The carpet would keep it from breaking, but the witch wasn't at all above breaking some glass to scare this little bugger.

Rosy frowns as she found her little trick didn't work, shaking her head she figured it would be better to quit now then try again. Without a sound, she slips through the wall, heading towards the next scareling's house.

Moving into the room, Aksaja grinned at seeing lots of places to hide and weird things to mess with. Creeping across the room, he hid behind the chalkboard and then grabbed the top to make it flip over and over and over again.
Then he had another idea. Grinning in the darkness, the lightning dragon spread his wings out a bit and summoned some tiny sparks to his fist to make some light, so that a flickering shadow of a huge winged thing appeared on the wall.

This time West went through the window. He couldn't have said why he chose to use what was, in his opinion, the less dignified point of entry, but this kid's windows were so wide and clean that it didn't seem as belittling as it might have. It was too bad he didn't notice the giant-a** flytrap until it was too late. West's foot sank into the plant's maw as he tried to find the ground, and for a moment he wondered if he had stumbled back into Halloween somehow. That thought was quickly dismissed when he realized the plant wasn't alive. Well, it was, but in more of a chlorophyll and fertilizer sort of way than a nibbling demon ankles one. He pitched forward, flailing his arms for balance as he almost crashed into some weird table covered in glass containers filled with bright liquids. The plant snapped upright once it was free of his foot, smacking into the window with a dull thud."s**t!"One of the beakers was already on the floor, so the boil clamped his teeth together and slipped under the table instead of causing more damage. They weren't supposed to communicate with the scarelings, but he wasn't sure if that extended to unexpected obscenities. Once he was hidden, West noticed there was someone down here with him. He smirked faintly at Belladonna, then turned his attention back to the task at hand. AyeAvast i'm the victim of a Sandy blackout so don't react too much if you don't want belladonna delayed XD <3

Oh.
Oh.
Malodore liked this room. It stared at the delicate beakers, the rudimentary chemistry... how splendid it would be if it could just walk out into the room and begin work, working with these rare human elements! It felt a certain warming of its silent heart towards the tiny human who was already showing such interest in Science.
Of course, it also had a job to do.
The underbed appeared vacant, if highly uncomfortable. Malodore's wings were cramped, and the flexes and twitches its wings made against the underside of the bed felt very much... well, like there was something under there. Something big.
A few feathers tore at the mattress, too, by mistake. Oops.

Victoria peeked into the room, making sure that it belonged to a scareling before slipping in. Instead of phasing through the wall, she decided to float in through the round window in order to hide behind the blackboard; although she had to curl her body up in order to hide her legs, most of the other obvious hiding places of the room were already occupied, which made her current hiding place the best for her.
Once she was sure that she would not be seen, she started pushing and shoving the blackboard - not so much so that it would fall over, but just enough to cause it to move and sway. To make it scarier, she also made sure to push and shove as loudly as she could, thumping against the surface.
