Name of Kid here: Jennifer Wentworth Fear amount of kid: 0 Intro Blurb: Despite the rather girlish sense of fashion imposed upon her by her parents, Jennifer is a bit of a "tough cookie"...or at least, as much as an elementary school student is capable of being one. Which basically means she's a tomboy and really hates to be called chicken. Though she has a night-light just like everyone else in her class, she plans to face this challenge with as much courage as she can muster, to prove she's not a chicken just because she's a girl.

Time for bed. Her parents already having left the room, Jenny used the purple lamp glowing cheerfully on her bedside table to take a nervous look around the room - her fish swimming peacefully in the aquarium above a cupboard cluttered with a mishmash of fish food bottles, aquarium paraphernalia, and miscellaneous other items; toybox and closet shut firmly, with her rather undersized desk chair providing a symbolic, though not truly functional, barrier at the door of the latter. She sighed, patting the base of the lamp affectionately - its purple, mystical glow was so comforting, then stubbornly reached for the cord and flicked the switch off, filling the room with an unsettling darkness.
LIGHTS OUT!

Victoria had phased through the walls of the house, becoming momentarily distracted by the fish tank; she wanted to take a closer look, but they were warned not to expose themselves...
Pouting a little, the ghost decided to crawl over to the bed, and hide under it. With her body hidden under the bed, she reached out and grabbed the bottom of one side of the translucent drape hanging over the bed, rustling it as nosily as she could, hoping to startle the scareling.

At the sudden rustling, Jennifer jolted up, eyes wide open. A small "eep" escaped her lips as she noticed the drape moving around. Her hand started toward her bedside table, but she caught herself. "No," she told herself firmly, "it's just the air conditioner..." Instead of the light switch, she grabbed at the wiggling drape and tugged on it, trying to move it so the wind from the would no longer reach it. Jenny's keeping it together so far...no (measurable) fear increase

Victoria was a little disappointed at the lack of reaction, and when she felt someone tugging back on the drape, she tugged back harder and continued rustling the drapes, refusing to let go or stop.

Carefully and quietly entering the next room, Shun paused briefly to get a feel of this place. It seemed simple enough. Oh. The drapes were moving. Was someone already in here? Shrugging, he slipped under the desk. It was a little cramped under here, but he did have an idea.
Once he was in place, he waited a moment, then reached for the power button of the computer to turn it on.
Computers should work more or less the same at home and here right?

Jenny gasped. "Ok..." she whispered, clearly nervous. "Not the air conditioner... Not going to scream... I'm not a chicken..." She clearly was not at all sure of the last two sentences, though, her voice quavering a bit. Taking a deep, shaky breath and holding it, she leaned swiftly over the edge of her bed to flail blindly at the bottom, trying to dislodge whatever was down there, hoping it wouldn't try to bite her hand off or something. Just as she reached the dark crevice beneath the bed, however, the loud sound of her computer turning on startled her. Shrieking, she jerked her hand back like it had been bitten by a snake and glanced wildly around the room, trying to identify the sound - the computer monitor still being dark, it took her a few seconds to realize what it was. "H-hey!" she said softly. "D-don't mess with m-my c-c-computer??" Scream = +10 fear

When the tugging persisted, Victoria pouted, clinging onto the drape until it was suddenly let go of; she heard something about a computer, and figured that there must be someone else attempting to scare the same scareling... Hopefully, that would make things easier!
Carefully and quietly, the ghost floated down until her feet and ankles were exposed from her hiding place under the bed. She waited for a second, and then gave the toy box at the foot of the bed a hard kick, generating a loud noise. She then quickly slipped back into her hiding place under the bed.

The girl ended up shrieking despite saying that she wasn't going to do so. At the request to not mess with her computer, Shun just scoffed lightly while shifting a little under the desk. No, he felt like messing with it a little more. Since there wasn't much more light in the room, he could only guess that the monitor was still off. Eh. That wasn't really needed for now.
Reaching from under the desk, he tried to feel for where the keyboard was to start hitting a few of the keys.

Lumikki stood at the windows in her natural form her nose peaking up over the sill slightly, oh this was too much fun, she could see two students already in the room. The poor scareling wasn't giving up a much fear, maybe they needed to step up the game. Nosing the window up a little more she hopped to the floor and decided to sneak over to the closet, there was always fun things to find in there right, Shifting back she pulled on the corner of the door as she hid in the shadows, oooh it creaked! She grinned as she made the door of the closet creak open then slammed it shut. Only if this scareling turned on the lights she might have a small issue hiding.

At the sudden chorus of thumps, creaks, and her computer suddenly making more random noises, poor Jennifer just couldn't take it anymore. "MOMEEEEEE!" she wailed, lunging for her table and frantically fumbling with the light, almost knocking it onto the floor before finally turning it on, bathing the room in its purple light. Even if there weren't any monsters, there was clearly something going on in here, and she wanted it to stop! Lights on! +20 fear; presumably Jenny calms down once all the ToT-ers have stopped messing with her xd Testing edit to post- has a glitch on my end

Suddenly the room was filled with purple light and the girl had cried for her mom. This was almost too easy. Shun waited a little while, then decided it was time to move on elsewhere. The kid had turned on her lights after all. Getting out of his little hiding spot, he went on and left.

When the room was bathed in a purple light, Victoria smiled to herself, checking the Fear meter strapped to her wrist; a rise in Fear levels meant that it was mission accomplished!
When she was sure that the scareling in the room would not see her, she phased through the wall, and out the house.

Nahm slipped over the windowsill once the light had gone out again, with a conspiratorial grin to the ghoul who had stationed herself behind the curtains. Team scaring. He could do that. The spot under the bed had been vacated, and he dropped flat to the floor to slide comfortably underneath.
Once he'd gotten himself settled in, he reached up to the bottom of the bed, extended his claws, and began to scratch at the bedframe near the head of the bed. Scriiiiiitch ... scritch-scritch ... scritch ... scriiiiiitch ...

Hiding in the closet just in time. She whimpered those lights were not something she liked. It was nice that her fear meter was advancing but those lights they were just horrible. Sighing in relief as the lights finally shut off Lumikki quiet crept out of the closet and found her way out of this room.
