Willow vs Flora - Surf's up!

Rolled a three: Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustles the flat grassland arena that has replaced the default stage. Small clouds of harmless pollen fly through the air from the breeze. The land is completely flat, making maneuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS and BUG type attacks.

Kytti walked into the arena with her companion at her side.
Willow bleated happily at the field choice and ran off to play in the grass.

Like always as he entered the field the bat Zue was upon his head. "its not your turn this time" he spoke to the bat as they moved towards the trainer box "Flora's turn this time. She needs the battle experience." He told the bat, as he threw her pokeball out upon the field. The grass field would be a challenge to the water pokemon but he felt she needed it.

"Let's start this off with a flourish," Kytti cheered.
Willow looked around the field and bleated softly as the flowers leaned towards her, a small ball of green building up above her head. It arced towards the Seadra, leaving a small green trail in it's mist.

Zak gave a bit of a wince as Flora was hit instantly with the attack. It seemed to drain quite a bit of damage from her. Maybe it was to early for the water pokemon to try something like this. "Alright Flora hang in there." he called out to his pokemon. "Lets give it an Ice Beam"

The water pokemon had been hit hard with the attack, but she recovered from it focusing her beady pink eyes at her opponent. At the command she fired a beam of ice at the deerling.

Narrowly missed the Ice attack, Willow struck back with another drain attack. She built up another ball of green then launched it towards the opponent.

"Lets give it another Ice Beam" he called out, hoping this time it would hit. If they froze their opponents movements then they could even the playing field.

She recovered quickly after being hit by the attack, in retaliation she sent yet another beam of ice towards he opponent.

The ice hit the Willow hard and froze her in her tracks.
"Think warm thoughts Willow, let's do this!" called Kytti.

The seadra whipped up a nasty blizzard with in the arena and sent it towards her opponent. .

The ice melted and Willow barely dodged the next attack. She worked on bringing up a shield instead for defense.

The seadra began to create yet another Blizzard in the arena, and sent her attack at the deerling.

Hit hard from the attack, Willow blanched. She struggled to her feet and launched another green mist attack.

(( I believe I would have taken 300 from the crit, but gain 37.5 from the drain. ))

The seadra was hit by the attack but retaliated with a beam of ice towards the direction of the deerling.

Struck by the beam of ice, Willow bleated. She charged up another green ball of mist and launched it towards the Seadra.
