Willow vs Thunder - Ride the Lightning!

Rolled a three: Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustles the flat grassland arena that has replaced the default stage. Small clouds of harmless pollen fly through the air from the breeze. The land is completely flat, making maneuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS and BUG type attacks.

Kytti and her Deerling entered the arena happily.
"Ooh, you should love it here Girl! Lots of grass to play in," Kytti told her companion happily.
Willow trotted off happily to graze in the grass while awaiting her opponent.

Fay held Thunder in her arms as she patted him lovingly. "Ready for a glorious battle my friend?" she cooed to the first ever pokemon she had.
"Piiikaachuu, pika!" Thunder said as he fluffed out his fur then smiled at the deerling he would be facing.

"Let's start this off with a little flurry," Kytti encouraged.
Willow ran towards the Pikachu and kicked up a wall of sand that arced towards the opponent.

Thunder was covered with sand. He shook his head, his cheeks sparking as he clenched his tiny fists.
"Go on Thunder, lets show them how you earned your name!"
Thunder let out a battle cry before sending a huge bolt of thunder towards his opponent.

Willow narrowly missed the Thunder attack and struck again with a wall of sand.
"Great job Girl! Amazing job!" Kytti cheered happily.

Thunder took another blast of sand then shook it off and charged for a slam attack.

Willow narrowly avoided the slam attack and attacked anew.
A shower of sand arced up towards the pokemon.

Thunder was hit yet again with sand, but did his best to push through for another slam attack.

Willow let out a bleat as the Pikachu slammed into her. She attacked again with the sand.

Another face full of sand, somehow that was beginning to get predictable. He huffed and launched himself at the deerling.

Willow dodged out of the way in the nick of time. She circled around and attacked with another blast of sand.

Thunder tried to brace himself as he was blasted with another wave of sand but only managed to keep it out of his eyes and mouth as it stung deep into his fur. He clenched his fists and aimed a blow at the deerling.
