Willow vs Kassidie - Antlers or Flowers?

Roll a Nine: Seashore Field: Split down the middle between land and sea, this field compliments land and water type pokemon. On the west end of the field is the land section: fine grained sand gradually slopes downward to meet the salt water on the east end of the battleground. A single palm tree wavers lightly in the breeze while shells are scattered in random places in and on the sand. In the water half of the battleground, the water laps at the sand much like at a real beach; when it retracts it leaves behind strands of seaweed and pieces of coral. Both are found under the water, offering shelter for water-types (or those who can hold their breath for great periods of times). This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GROUND and WATER type attacks.

Kytti and her companion Deerling both entered the arena and smiled.
"This is such a lovely place, one of my favorite arenas, don't you think Willow? Kytti asked her Deerling.
"Deeee!" Willow bleated happily.

Zachery hadn't battled in a while and he was feeling like giving his only pokemon a good work out today. "Are you ready, M'Dear?" he said as he gently stroked Kassidies nose.
Kassidie nodded, giving a gentle scrape of her hoof. "Stant, Stantler."

"Alright then my darling, lets start off with a take down!" Zach said.

Kassidie lowered her head and aimed for the deerling, scraping her front hooves a few times before charging.

Willow was struck from the Take Down attack and fought to stay on her feet.
"Let's see how she handles this one," Kytti thought to herself and watched what her Deerling would do next.
Willow steadied herself then launched towards the pokemon and attacked with a flurry of kicks.

Kassidie took the blunt of the kicks and stumbled backwards a bit from the crit.
"Steady there M'Dear, your not out yet, lets try a zen headbutt attack."
Kassidie shook herself before lowering her head again and charging at the deerling once more.

Willow barely dodged the headbutt attack and struck with her own set of kicks again.
"That's my Girl! You can do it!" Kytti cheered.

Kassidie was struck by the hooves but wasn't out yet. She charged for another headbutt.

Hit by the headbutt, Willow recoiled and tried to regain her footing.
She again struck with her hooves in quick succession.
"Great choice Willow!" called Kytti.

This deerling would not give up with the kicking. Kassidie was getting tired but she wouldn't give up yet either. She turned and charged for another zen headbutt

Willow bleated as she was struck by the headbutt. She raced in and attacked with another quick succession of kicks.

Willow bleated as she was hit by the attack. She scrambled to her feet and raced in to attack again with another succession of quick kicks.

As weary as Kassidie was, she managed to dodge the latest session of kicks. A huff of air drew into her lungs before she mustered what strength she had left for a take down.
