Lizzy had been holed up in her room when the school was covered with fog; for some reason, she saw the need to avoid it at all costs, even if it meant staying alone inside, with only her minipets for company. Her eyephone was set on her bedside table, and she kept looking at it, as if expecting a message from someone; it wasn't unusual for there to be no messages at all, but for some reason, with the school this quiet...
Something felt off.
When she woke up one morning to see that the fog had cleared, she couldn't help but wonder if it was just her being paranoid; maybe it was just regular fog, after all?

Tired. Shun was pretty damn worn out after everything had happened. He managed to rest up a little, but there were still a number of things on his mind. Rubbing his head, he decided that it was time to give Lizzy a status update. After all, he hadn't seen her during that entire mess at the Haunted house. Perhaps she had already been informed, but.. there was something else he wanted to say but hadn't had the chance as of late. And so he gave her a call, letting her know that he wished to speak with her.

When the eyephone started to buzz and vibrate, it actually startled Lizzy, as well as the minipets on her bed. After picking up and, after a short conversation, hanging up, she got out of bed in order to wash up. She also slipped into something warmer before playing with Rosenthal while waiting for Shun's arrival.

Not long after he got off the phone, Shun was there at Lizzy's room. He let out a heavy breath and ran his hand through his hair. He really was pretty damn tired. After knocking lightly on the door, he awaited outside with his hands in his pockets.

"Coming!"
A few seconds later, the door was opened, and an unimpressed looking minipet stared directly at Shun from where his perch on Lizzy's head. As she tilted her head up to look at the boil, Rosenthal clung on, ear wings used to balance himself as he continued to look unimpressed.
"Hi," She greeted, feeling kind of relieved to see another student; the last one she met was Hel, and then... Nobody else. It had been far too quiet, considering how it was right after Fright Night, "You look... Tired." And more disgruntled than usual.

Given height, the first thing Shun saw was that rather unimpressed minipet. The Reaper just gave a rather unimpressed look right bat at it before lowering his gaze to meet Lizzy's.
"A lot of crazy s**t has happened," he said plainly, "I didn't see you during the madness and given your position with Seeds, I figured you may want to know the details."
That wasn't all, but business came first. At least as far as he was concerned.

Rosenthal was unimpressed with Shun's unimpressed look.
"... What sort of crazy? Madness?" Lizzy asked hesitantly, almost wincing when her position with Seeds was mentioned; she had done a lot of thinking because it was just so quiet lately, and Seeds was one of the things she thought about, "Oh, um, come in!"
She took a step back, holding the door for her friend.

Nodding quietly, Shun stepped in once he was allowed to, then took in a deep breath.
"Madness. Yes. Also known as Insanity. I don't know if you had seen those grey fog areas or not. Walking into them lead directly to the Haunted house, which was completely infected. Insanity in itself has evolved it seemed. More people were able to be affected. That is only the beginning. Red has returned. More or less. I don't quite know how, but it seems that it has something to do with the Insanity... I believe she is filled with it. But she is back. She disabled all the hunters that had shown up, and killed Caelius."
He made his way towards the couch and seated himself.
"And that isn't even quite half of what happened."

"... What?" Lizzy couldn't quite absorb the information all at once; although he didn't say a lot, the words 'Red has returned' and 'killed Caelius' was more than enough to give her things to think about, "What do you mean Red is back? We saw her turn into that giant insanity monster, and die! And... Caelius? Dead? How?"

"That insanity monster returned. Briefly. Later, she was back in her... 'normal state'. She was in control. Though, she was able to call forth a flamethrower sort of weapon, and still had some properties suggesting that she was made of Insanity still. It must have something to do with Insanity evolving," Shun explained before letting out another sigh.
"She had the power to force Hunter weapons into their tablet forms. I don't know if that is permanent, but it rendered them useless. As for Cael.. she fought him. Overpowered him. I couldn't see too well of what happened, but the sound of tearing flesh was pretty apparent. When she was done, she threw the man across the room. Unfortunately, she spared the rest of the hunters, telling them to flee."
The Reaper scoffed lightly at that part. Oh he wanted to cut down those fleeing forms quite a bit. It would have been all too easy given how fragile humans were.

Lizzy sighed in relief the same time Shun scoffed; if they were spared, it meant that the hunters she met during that DETH mission must still be alive.
"I see... That's... A lot of things," She replied, frowning slightly, "Wow... Um, let me... Absorb this information... So you're saying that Caelius - the man responsible for a lot of the kidnappings and injuries - is dead? Officially dead? I mean..." It's a little hard to believe.
"As for Red, I guess... Riley came back too, from the so-called dead," She sighed, looking down at her lap, "It's getting difficult to tell what is dead, and what is not... Although if Insanity did evolve..." She paused, looking almost hopeful as she looked up, "What about Jericho? Did anyone see Jericho?"

"His body was thrown too far to confirm. There had been a fair amount of blood, however. Maybe he did survive by some chance, but I don't understand why Red wouldn't finish the job there," Shun stated. The bulk of the hunters were one thing, but Caelius was far too dangerous to be left alive. Shrugging lightly, he listened to Lizzy for the moment, then shook his head.
"The only dragon I saw around was Aymet."
Frowning lightly, his gaze shifted towards the ground briefly as he thought on a few other things. All that madness, and he had dragged Mitsu through it all. That sort of thing was likely the last thing she needed right now... Closing his eye, he just shook it aside for now.

"Are you sure it's Red?" Lizzy asked, eyeing the boil, "Very sure?" It was just hard to believe that after all this time, she would come back... Why now? For what purpose? And how did she suddenly get the power to overwhelm someone like Caelius?
"Oh..." Her face fell, and she seemed disappointed at the news, although part of her also knew that she might be hoping for a little too much, "Wow... I can't believe I missed all that... But... Maybe it's good that I did..."
She caught his expression, and frowned along with him, "Something on your mind?"

"She seemed to recognize some of us. Also she never rose her weapon against students if she could help it. She did end up dissipating or doing something to a few, but they volunteered to aid her against Caelius. They were missing at the end of it all, but she mentioned that they would be back," Shun shrugged. He wasn't too sure what to make of that. So much had happened and not all of it made too much sense.
"A lot of things. Nothing particularly new. I won't bother you with the details, however," he said somewhat dismissively. Shaking his head again, he looked towards the spider demon.
"This kind of brings up the other reason why I wished to speak with you."

"Oh? I guess... That's good then," Lizzy nodded, looking thoughtful; she still had mixed feelings about the whole 'Red is back' thing, but if Shun didn't sense anything off, having the gym professor back might not be a bad thing, "Other reason? Is there something else that happened...?"
