Ice field : The temperature of the stadium suddenly drops several degrees (just enough so breath was visual and winter-wear is needed) as the stadium floor shifts for the upcoming battle. The floor turns into extremely slick ice which makes maneuverability, even simply standing, difficult. Randomly placed crystal-like pillars reach skyward from the frozen water, reflecting the florescent lights to all sides of the battle-field. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to ICE type attacks

"Aw, man! Not this field again!" Zinnia complained as she picked her way carefully up the icy steps to the trainer's box. She pulled her coat tightly around herself and crossed her arms in an effort to keep warm.
She looked back at her mismagius, who was trailing behind. "Come on, Zarya," she called to the reluctant ghost. "You'll do great. You're a really good battler. It'll be fine! Ready?"
Zarya hesitated for a moment, then nodded. She slowly drifted into her position on the field, feeling as nervous as usual. Somehow battling never got any easier...

Heal let out an undignified sqwak as he tried no to slip down the staircase. "This is insane.....why can't they salt the steps?" He climbed up all the way to the trainer's box and open up his jacket. "Galli...oi...come out..."
It took a moment of prying to get the silver eevee to get out the warmth and be gently plop down into the arena. Heal quickly zipped up his jacket and shivered. " Ready, Gallifrey?"
Gallifrey slipped down the ice and gave a little yip when he stopped at one of the columns, getting up on his paws, he yipped his readiness with some reluctance. First battle and he was slipping all over the place.

Gallifrey wiggle himself up to his feet again and looked at his trainer, big ears perked up.
"Okay, lets start something simple. What you do to me every morning I try to sleep in. Bite." Heal smiled, waving him off towards the other pokemon.
The evolution pokemon turned towards the mismagius, he gave quick little jumps to gain speed and jump to bite her.

"Hey! Is that Heal?!" Zinnia exclaimed, recognizing that unusual hair style. "Whoa... he has a shiny eevee, too?" While she was distracted, Zarya already got bitten.
"Ah! Sorry, Zarya!" Zinnia exclaimed. "Growl!"
Zarya struggled for a moment while the eevee clung to her cloak, but a moment later she had vanished, only to reappear behind her opponent. She did her best to growl, although she found it highly embarrassing and hid her face in the high collar of her cloak.

Heal blinked a few times, taking a moment to realize who he as seeing. "Zinnia! Hi!" He waved after her.
Gallifrey yelp softly when his rump hit the ice once again and startled at the growl behind him, turning himself around so fast, he finish tangling himself with his tail.
"This is probably going to be a very long and adorable battle." Heal leaned foward on his box. "How about...Shadow Ball?"
The eevee growled softly as an dark orb shaped itself before his muzzle, letting out a bark, it bound itself quickly after the ghost pokemon.

Zarya's cloak whipped around her as freezing cold wind swirled around the eevee. "S-sorry," she stammered. The poor eevee was probably cold enough already...

Gallifrey shivered, wrapping his tail tightly around himself to shield from the cold.
"Shadow ball again!"
The eevee poked his muzzle out between the coils of his tail and formed the dark orb before sending it barreling towards Zarya.

"Again!" Zinnia commanded.
Zarya exhaled in a surprised huff as the shadow ball hit her. But she recovered herself swiftly and summoned another gust of freezing wind. It swirled around the silver eevee, and Zarya wondered if he wouldn't soon be frozen solid.

Zarya managed to dodge the shadow ball this time. She looked down nervously at Gallifrey.

"You know what to do, Zarya!" Zinnia called out.
Zarya flinched away from the bite but caused the wind to whirl down around the eevee at the same time. She hoped that she wouldn't give him brainfreeze.

Gallifrey tucked his ears back against his head to warm them up as the cold kept hitting him, tucking his tial under his paws in an effort to stay warm and off the ice. Forming another shadow ball, he threw it at the ghost pokemon.
