The den was tidy now, and the day could truly begin, a rather dusty figure stepped from it's shadows and blinked hard at the rising sun. Kaito hadn't realized how beautiful it was outside, and was a little saddened that he had missed some of a great day, but was sure Tivoli would appreciate a clean home. Well.. clean enough, he wasn't the best at keeping things in line. She was a bit more organized.
Anyhow it was time to seek her out, they hadn't spent enormous amounts of time together since their last tumble and 'special' talk of a family that could be but wasn't, unfortunately. So his idea was to pull together a nice afternoon and evening, romantic even!
Kaito.. still hadn't actually planned it, but knew he'd get the right things in place as he went. Fortunately, their company would really be all each other needed. Or atleast that is how Kaito felt. The perfect time of day, any day, was time spent with Tivoli.
"Tivoli?" He beckoned lightly as he exited their home, he couldn't imagine how far she may have gone off too, but he'd look around if it was required.

Taking slow breaths, Tivoli was just now waking up from a much needed nap. She had been feeling so exhausted, and Kaito had seemed pretty busy when she peeked in earlier, so she decided to stay away from the den and nap in the warmth of the sun. It was really nice, being able to just relax and not have to worry about anything at all; perks of being in a pride that had really drawn her here. She still tended to not wander too far away from Kaito when she planned on taking naps, but her nerves seemed to always be at ease here.
Stretching out her paws above her head, she rolled around on the grass for a little while, not really wanting to get up. She had been so comfortable in this spot, and the sun was still definitely making her want to continue sleeping. Things like this...she wouldn't really have the chance to do them once they have a family, would she? It wasn't really a bad thing, but she hadn't really ever thought about how their lives would change once that happens.
If it happens.
Truthfully, she had been feeling a little too embarrassed to touch the subject since their last conversation. But if she had to be awkward with anyone, she was definitely glad that it was with Kaito.
Rubbing her nose with her paw, her ears twitched as she heard her name being called. She blended in pretty well with the grass, but she was just a few paces away from the den's entrance. Not quite feeling like getting up just yet, she stretched her paws out above her, pawing at the sky to signal to Kaito.
"Over heeeeere~" She flopped onto her side, waiting to see if he'd come over.

Kaito spotted her milliseconds before she called out, her dang pelt was certainly a good disguise in the yellowing grasses surrounding them. He smiled happily and began his walk to her.
Upon getting to her side he simply dropped to the ground and let out a rather pleased sigh. The den had not been that messy, together their possessions had not occupied more than a couple paw lengths of space. But of course, the teasing mood he was in he smirked at her and stated simply. "Geeze you make a mess!"
The smile grew wider until he gave a small laugh. "But, that is what I'm for, yes?" He smirked again, in a meaningful way, no matter the time of day he'd drop everything if she needed something and felt it was his burden to provide the best of everything for her, down to a clean and cozy place to enjoy together. "How was your nap Tivoli?"
His questions, eyes and so on were simply all part of the chatter. To him, they could have been silent and all the words would mean nothing to how they felt. Feelings were worth many more words than anything he had interacted with before.

"What?" Dropping her jaw in a teasingly distraught expression, Tivoli adored this side of Kaito. He kept things light and playful, which was just wonderful. "I think you make more of a mess than I do." Butting her head into him, she decided to just leave it leaned up against him. It was so comfortable, being this close to him. He was so soft and warm; it made her a little embarrassed just thinking about him.
"Well, it's not your only use." Glancing up at him for a moment, she was really thankful that she had been able to find a male like him. He was so perfect in every way, and he took such amazing care of her. Sometimes, she felt a little bad that she didn't do more.
"It was absolutely wonderful." Stretching her paws out, a content smile settled on her face. "But I wish you could have been here the whole time to make my dreams even better." Nuzzling into his fur, she was comfortable enough to fall asleep again.
