Grass field: The breeze from the stadium air conditioners rustles the flat grassland arena that has replaced the default stage. Small clouds of harmless pollen fly through the air from the breeze. The land is completely flat, making maneuverability easy to those build to walk on land. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to GRASS and BUG type attacks

"All right, Zebs! You ready to do this?!" Zinnia exclaimed, grinning down at the purrloin walking by her feet.

Zebo purred and rubbed his flank against his trainer's legs before leaping off the edge of the trainer's platform. He landed lightly on the grass and looked across the field to see who his opponent would be.

Kytti walked in and smelled the fresh air. "What a wonderful aroma!" she thought to herself. With her Deerling at her side, they enjoyed the sights of such a wonderous arena.
"You ready Girl?" Kytti asked her Deerling.

"Okay! Zebo, use U-Turn!" Zinnia commanded.

Zebo shot off like an arrow; he closed in on Willow quickly and raised a paw with which to swipe her. His eyes widened for a moment. Hang on, this deerling's a girl! It was too late to slow his momentum, though; his claws sang through the air and struck Willow. He darted off back toward Zinnia, throwing over his shoulder, "(Sorry, babe!)"

Willow was struck by the paw swiped at her and skidded back.
"It's ok Girl! Let's hit it with Jump Kick!"
Willow started running towards the Purrloin and then jumped into the air, it's hooves aimed towards the pokemon.

"(Whoa!)" Zebo said in surprise as the deerling leaped surprisingly high. As the grass pokemon came down, Zebo tried to dodge, but a hoof landed squarely on his tail. He yowled in pain with his fur standing on end.

"U-Turn!" Zinnia interjected quickly. It tore her up to see Zebo in so much pain. His poor tail!

Zebo decided right then and there that it didn't matter that Willow was a girl. She was not cute! Not cute at all! He lashed out with his claws and wrenched his wounded tail free at the same time.

Again struck from the clawed Bug type move, Willow bounced back ready to attack.
"Again Girl, use your kick! It seems to be working!" Kytti commanded happily.
Willow again ran towards the pokemon and leaped into the air, aiming her hooves to attack with vigor.

Zebo kept his poor tail free this time, and instead the blow merely grazed his flank. He growled as some of his fur was ripped out.

"U-Turn!" Zinnia shouted again.

Willow barely dodged the attack, bleated, and readied herself for another attack.
"Use your feet again, Jump Kick!" Kytti said with a smile.
Willow jumped again and aimed her hooves towards the Purrloin.

Zebo was not keen on being squished, and so he managed to dodge the kick. His ears flattened against the back of his head and he hissed at the grass pokemon. "(Crazy chick!)" he muttered. Was she trying to break his spine?

"U-Turn!"

Zebo darted forward again, hoping to end the battle quickly before he lost even more of his handsome fur.

Struck from the attack, Willow redoubled her efforts and launched another attack.
She ran towards the pokemon and again leaped into the air to strike with her hooves.

"Again, Zebs! Almost there!" Zinnia encouraged from the trainer's podium.

Zebo didn't need telling twice. He met Willow's attack with his own claws. He did hope that it was almost over, or else he'd be full of bruises by the end!

Willow braced for the attack, and skidded when hit.
"Let's do it Girl! You are doing great!" cried Kytti happily.
Willow bolted towards the pokemon and leaped high into the air, aiming again for the bruised body.
