Welcome to the Fifth Age Halloween 2012 event thread! Because we have so many major plot events going on right now, we thought we'd keep Halloween small this year. There won't be any massive RP events going on, however, there will be a daily Trick-or-Treat with chances at customs, and an opportunity for some drunken breedings! Darn that spiked punch! So, come on in and make yourselves at home!

General Info and Rules In the wake of the storm that destroyed the Isle's HQ, the tiny Avalon fae have taken it upon themselves to put together a small celebration for the Isle's inhabitants. There have been some rough times, but all hope is not lost, and this is a time for fellowship, not despair. The fae have found a clearing, set up lights and music, and brought in delicious treats to share with the Pae'il. All are welcome to take part, to mix and mingle, and generally have a good time! General RulesNO WHINING. Seriously, no one likes a poor sport. Especially staff who sacrifice their time and work for you. Everything here is free, so if you complain about it, you forfeit your prize. 'Nuff said.
Be nice. Treat people how you'd like to be treated. You wanna' be a douchebag, you can leave. We will not tolerate any poor behavior against any of our shop-goers.

Trick-or-Treating Halloween's a great time to be a kid! And heck, even adults like candy! The Avalon fae have really gone all out with this party, and in addition to music, food, and drink, there are fae floating about, tossing candy at Pae, giving others bowls if they want to help distribute, and generally creating a sugar-fueled ruckus. Go bother the Avalon fae, your own Pae, or even other people's Pae for candy! Trick-or-Treating RulesAnyone may play in the Trick-or-Treating, whether or not you have a Pae'il. If you do not have a Pae'il, you may play yourself or another human character taking part in the ToTing. If you do have Pae'il, remember that you can only make ONE roll a day, so keep this in mind if you're considering playing more than one of your characters in the game.
All you need to do to play is post the phrase in the form below, and roll a single 12-sided die. You may do this once a day.
You do not have to RP. You can just roll dice and not post any RP at all. However, if you write a short post about yourself or one of your Pae ToT-ing, at least five sentences, with your daily roll, you will get a bonus candy for that day!
For those who really get into it, there might be a secret prize lurking about for players who RP their Pae in costume...

Drunken Breedings Uh oh...seems that while the Avalon fae weren't looking, one of the many alcohol-theme Pae slipped something into the punch! This is never good... Drunken BreedingObviously, you must have a Pae to enter in the breeding contest. Just sayin'.
Pae'il MUST be adults to breed.
Any pairings that result in babies MUST be considered canon. While there may be 'magic' babies, they still come from somewhere. Your characters will have to deal with any consequences of their night of fun.
Any Pae may be entered, but keep in mind...if you enter a Pae that's mated/married/in a committed relationship with one Pae, and they have babies with another Pae, they WILL have to deal with the consequences regarding their relationship.
No canon established couples! That's what normal breeding slots are for! These are for pairs that wouldn't happen under normal circumstances.
Each Pae may only be entered once. If Pae A and Pae B are entered as a pair, Pae A and Pae C may not also be entered.
Each player may be a part of up to three entries, and no more. Spread the love!
Additives/Potions/Influences from your inventory may be used in the breeding if you win! Just make a note in the form which you are using and from which player's inventory.
Winners will be chosen based on the funniest, most creative RP entry.

Gimme da' candy!
Selah marches up to the first place to trick-or-treat. She's not sure what she's doing, but as she looks back at her father she smiles as he nods encouragingly. She's dressed in a black-and-yellow striped jumper, with black spots painted over her eyes (probably with charcoal), wings made of wire and gauze, and a headband with boppy antennae.
"I'm a bee!" she exclaims, holding out her basket. "Bzz!"
She hadn't really gotten the concept of trick-or-treating yet...

Diona gave Porter a small nudge towards the first person that he might ask for candy from. While they were still out of earshot, she leaned down to remind the toddler, "don't forget to smile and say trick or treat." Porter looked back hesitantly. "Go on..." She stood back up and admired her handiwork. With Diona's amazing fashion sense, she had that boy dressed to a tee. He was dressed like a vampire, but not just any vampire; he was a miniature, Victorian vampire with all the frills.
Even at Porter's young age, he felt ridiculous with all the fluff and frills she had dressed him in. He had heard promises of rewards though, so he forced a toothy smile and grinned up at the tall pae in front of him "Twickortees" he said in one long word. He was coo'd and aw'd at in response, and when he was rewarded with candy the smile was no longer forced and he thought, I could do this.

Gimme da' candy!
Pelagious did one last double check in the mirror. After a few minor adjustments here and there, he finally made his way out of the bathroom and into the party. The misguided young adult was wearing a knee length, babydoll cut dress in white and ivory heels. His hair was styled and he had a couple of apples stuffed in the top area of his dress. In his opinion? He was smoking.
The heels however, he could barely walk in. Staggering foward a few steps, he managed to catch himself on a nearby table before falling completely on the floor with his next step. His hair, which he had meticulously curled in Marilyn Monroe fashion, all shiney and lustrious from the massive amounts of hairspray and conditioner he had poured into it to get it to cover his head in short curls, bounced as his head hit the floor.
Rubbing the afore mentioned head, he noticed for the first time the many stares he was getting. Giving everyone a warm, very friendly smile, he grabbed the table and stood up. And promptly fell down again.
That was when he noticed the candy under the table. He briefly wondered where on the earth they got that quote about diamonds being a girl's best friend when there was a chocolate covered ghosty calling his name. Shoving the little ghosty in his mouth, he crawled back out and smiled at the guy staring at his butt.
Yes... Tonight was going to be fun.
