 The tiny cub let out a yawn and looked around. She didn't see her mother near by but she saw the back of the lion she had been told was her dad. She spotted her sisters still curled up together, sound asleep. She sighed; she had hoped one of them would be willing to find something for her to do, well that didn't involve wrestling. There's always these little things, she thought, as a small beetle walked passed her. She pawed at it lightly, watching it divert from the course it had been on before looking around. There was someone else missing besides Momma; where did her brother go?

Malek wasn't too far off honestly. He was bored and nap time just wasn't that exciting to him. He wasn't exactly sure of what he wanted to do but for the moment he was up against a base of a tree not that far off. He was thinking about how he could possibly climb it. He was thinking that climbing was going to be fun. Maybe, he wasn't that sure of how to climb a tree but he knew that this could be an adventure.It seemed like it could be an interesting adventure and he was excited to what would come out of it. His tail flicked around behind him as he thought about it. He was staring up at the top thinking as carefully as he could about.

The small, dark red cub continued looking around for her brother. He was the only one of her siblings that weren't curled in the sleeping pile. She took another look over at their dad but it didn't appear that Malek was hiding by him. She stood up and stretched out before walking around, in hopes of finding him. Underneath a tree, she saw a faint shadow looking up into the tree. As she got a little closer, she realized the shadow was actually her brother's dark pelt.
"Malek!" she called to him, "What are you doing?"

Malek almost jumped at the sound of his sister calling his name. He was not expecting her to come talk to him. He wasn't really expecting anyone to. His ears perked up and he then turned to look at her he was curious of what she wanted because he had no clue at all of what she wanted. It was supposed to be nap time wasn't it? Then again he wasn't really following that schedule himself. He looked at the lioness and then back at the tree. "Calm down." He half hissed, he wasn't exactly that excitable, and there were times where he liked to do things himself but ither way he was kind of hoping maybe his sister could help him.
"What does it look like? I'm trying to climb the tree." He said simply turning back to the tree. It look like he had made up his mind of what he was going to do.

Kakalina rolled her little eyes at the male cub. Like they were going to get caught; their dad wasn't paying attention and their mother must have gone out to hunt. The only way they would be caught is if their dad heard them or if one of the other cubs woke up.
"Relax," she replied and looked up at the tree. She wondered how he was going to climb it as she looked between the tree and him. "Do you want some help?" Climbing a tree sounded like it could be interesting, if they could figure out how.

Malek's eyes darted to his sister. He would be relaxed if he could just do what he wanted with out some one interrupting him. His attention turned to the lioness and he shrugged. "I don't know." He paused as he stared at the tree. I'm not sure if it's going to take extra help to get up there or if some one could do it by myself." He said as he was thinking about it as quickly as he could.He flicked his tail around behind him thinking as he did.

Kakalina's eyes darted from her brother to the tree he was looking to climb. She wasn't entirely sure how he, or her, would be able to climb something like that. As she tried to think of ways he could attempt to get into the branches, she slowly looked down and noticed their paws. Her eyes brightened a bit as she looked down at her own paws, bringing out the things she had discovered not too long ago. These 'claws', as she had been told they were called, looked like they would be sharp enough to dig into the tree so they could climb.
"Malek, look! Maybe if you use your claws, you can get up there."

Malek stared up at the tree before looking down at his claws. He wasn't completely sure of the idea of how he was going to get up the tree with his claws. He took a moment and though before extending his claws. That was an interesting idea, he was guessing he could manage to get up the tree. "Maybe those will work." He said as he started to climb up the tree using his back legs the best he could to push himself up, only to find himself sliding down in the end once again. "I guess maybe that won't work." He huffed partly angerly.

Kakalina watched as her brother extended his claws and made an attempt to climb the tree. She was getting excited for him as he managed to get a little ways up and frowned when he ended up sliding back down. She went over to him and nuzzled him for a brief second before looking back at the tree.
"You can do it," she told him and went over to the tree herself. She extended her own set of claws and put them against the bark, "Maybe if you use your front paws to pull you up at the same time, maybe that would work?"

Malek glanced at his sister and thought about what she said before looking back up at the tree, maybe she was right? He was hoping that he was going to be able to climb up the tree. He had a feeling his mother would be upset with him but then again at the same time he didn't seem to care that much. A smile was on his lips as he did. His tail flicked around behind him before turning back toward the tree. "Okay, lets try then." He said as he started to pull himself up on the tree "It's working!" He said before getting a little ways up and losing grip and finding himself on the ground, he turned to his sister with a grin. "It works!"

Kakalina watched intently as Malek dug his claws into the tree and started to pull himself up. As he got higher, she grinned as she watched him. As he started to fall back down, her ears went back slightly in fear of the potential fall. When he grinned at her, she couldn't help but smile back and give an excited laugh. "That's great! Wanna see if we can make it to the top?"

Malek stared at his sister as she spoke a large grin grew on her face as she did. "Well! Lets do it then!" He laughed and flicked his tail around and then looking up at the tree. "Do yo think we can do it?" He asked turning his attention to him and then turing to his parents. They still looked like they were napping which made him pretty happy. He was hoping that they would continue to sleep so that they can do something awesome.

"Of course we can!" Kakalina replied with a small laugh as she looked at the tree. How hard could it be? She noticed him looking back to where their parents were and watched to see if they were awake or had spotted them. "C'mon," she stage whispered, "that way we can get back before they wake up."

Malek grinned and then looked at his sister and then away a slightly bigger tree caught his attention. "Maybe we could go check out that one instead." He grinned even bigger at the idea of climbing a taller tree, he glanced at her and then nodded at her. "I think it sounds like a pretty good idea, lets go do it!"
