A business lady walked onto the screen, into the camera's field of vision. She had a nice and regal hairstyle, her neat blue hair coiled around the back of her neck and rested upon her shoulder, shifting a bit when she dropped down into her seat.
"Hello there, all you confused clients and aspiring Mercenaries!" She said with a grin, folding her hands atop each other and crossing her legs. "My name is Sky Aero and yours isn't quite so important right now!" She nodded, this lady carried a bit of an air of superiority, of importance. It was quite clear that she knew that and embraced it. "But, since you are watching program, that means you're either looking for a mercenary group to join, a group to hire, or you just plan love the look of my face." She smiled, her pearly whites sparkled in the studio's lights. With a snap of her finger, some smooth jazz music kicked up in the studio. Giving the program this lively mood. "I always love listening to music while I work." She said to herself, taking a binder from the bag around her waist and set it on the table. "Now, in this episode we shall be covering the Gunmetal Mercenaries!" A screen lowered behind her, displaying the symbol of the Gunmetal Mercenaries; the three headed dog, Cerberus.
"So, the Gunmetal Mercenaries hail from the town of Lida which is now currently overrun with bandits and Crimsons. They're one of the Guild's more long running groups and are relatively well known." As she said these words, the screen behind her showed a video of the original line-up of the Gunmetal Mercenaries. The Gatekeeper Demon Duriono, the Busty Blonde with the headphones, Mary, the man with the shades, Bishop, the big man Brig and Key the strategist. "On the battle field, the Gunmetal Mercenaries are a very efficient and aggressive group. They capitalize on eachothers' skills and weaknesses and use them both to their advantage. And they are also just as fierce when separated. 'Creativity is Killing' that's a phrase that quite applies to them well. From Duriono, their incredibly handsome leader who has the ability to manipulate certain metals and turn them into all sorts of weapons." On screen, footage of Duriono taking the engine of a truck and turning it into a shouldercannon and anchor was being played. "To Mary, who's not only armed with a gearsword which can be heated up and can cut through all sorts of steels but also a multi-purposed revolver that can be turned into other classes of fire-arms, even combinations of them. And then there's Brig, the tank who's basically bulletproof, and Key, the small little runt with the brainpower to orchestrate a lot of their operations. Each of these members, along with the ones they've picked up overtime fit into the main formula of blow @#$# up." She smiled and looked back towards the camera. "Everyone loves a good explosion." The woman known as Sky walked around her desk and then sat upon it. "Now, having some abilities is good and all, but where do they come from? What have they done?" She asked, hypothetically of course. And as if responding the question, the screen behind her queued up a section on "Training and general weaponry." And then cut to a video of the Gunmetals in a gunfight in the middle of the desert, sprinting about smoldering bits and pieces of an airplane.
"As I said before, the Gunmetals hail from Lida a city isolated from most other society save for a few towns and outposts by a thick and fierce desert, and as such the Mercs have been trained through experience to be able to shrug the desert's intense heat and brutal chills, for the most part. And to go along with that, they were also based in the inner city, so the are also very much accustomed to more urban environments, as most groups are." And then the video panned across the Gunmetal's armory, showing a plethora of firearms.
"Gun is in their name after all, so of course they'd have quite the selection to choose of. For the most part, all of the Gunmetals tote around lighter firearms, like the conventional SMGs, assault rifles, shotguns and handguns. But, they also like to use some more.... creative weapons. In the form of guns that shoot chains and bind enemies, to the incendiary rubberized bullet hoses, to snipers that lock onto the enemy and chase them around corners. And that's just for the offensive. For their defensive, the Gunmetals are usually more lenient with those. Only wearing light body armor to protect from a couple of bullets, but for the most part they just wear regular clothes, with some of them even wearing light clothing, as if they were still in the desert. As you can guess, they don't do too well in tundras or colder environments. But nobody's perfect!" The camera cut back to Sky, who was now just standing in front of her desk, that binder in her hands.
"What's that? You want to get a bit more personal?" She raised a brow. "Well, okay."
And the video went to their apartment, which was almost always in a mess.
"Well, the Gunmetals really just care about where you're going rather than where you're from. They take good care of their own and are generally very friendly to each other. But that doesn't mean they don't fight. With their leader being a crazy, guntoting madman who just so happens to be incredibly sexy, the tension can often get high, and their ideals aren't always pointing towards the same thing."
"So, as a summary, the Gunmetals are a desert hardened group with varying abilities that support each other, focus on mostly close quarters combat that really really stick to their guns and care for each other. And their leader is incredibly sexy!" Sky shut her binder. "Now have fun and remember, Creativity is Killing!"
