It was almost like a dream to wake up with her still there mostly because she'd been entrapped by his dreadlocks, something they both laughed off as the morning went under way. They'd spent much of the time together talking, playfully arguing about things, and just simply enjoying each other's company but this time there were no 'boundaries' to hold them back on what type of affection they could show each other, there was no one to disapprove, save for Endzela but she did so jokingly and on the plus side it garnered her attention from Freya as well.

Soon Freya left to her own room for a while and Kettil stayed within his own room. They didn't need to spend every waking hour together and Kettil pretty much accepted that as something that was 'okay'. Freya had things she needed to get in order and stuff she needed to do on her own time. The Muut on the other hand had an Owl he needed to smother with attention. He'd essentially ignored her with everything that had been going on and he'd felt badly for it.

Endzela perched upon her Reaper's lap contently as his fingertips rubbed and scritched up under all the layers of feathers gently getting at the small areas of skin within the gaps of the feathers simply massaging his Familiar as he hummed a soft song for her. The Owl let out soft coos and content sounds that came with this attention, now and again she needlessly groomed some of the leather fringes that were within reach upon his pant leg. This was a rare peaceful moment for them now the both of them simply being together and blissfully happy in each other's company. After he'd ruffled up her feathers he started to gently lay them back smooth as best as he could, if anything felt out of place she would have to correct it herself.

"So it is official, huh? You stole my wife from me," the Owl teased wistfully.

Kettil paused as he raised an eyebrow at his Familiar and then laughed, "Ah, Endy, I am pretty sure if I didn't have you she wouldn't have interest in me," he teased back playfully and almost reassuringly, "think of it as having an easier access to your bride."

There was a thoughtful silence before she announced, "Damn straight," with a smug tone as she nestled a bit more comfortably upon his lap and her eyes closed. She seemed happy and very content - a reflection of Kettil's own mood. Sometimes it was eerie how she could pick up on his thoughts and feelings without him even mentioning them.

"Do you think you will follow her like you said you'd follow Lark?" She asked softly.

Kettil's eyes stared upward toward the ceiling now his fingertips pausing against her wings for now he wasn't sure how to answer this. He'd thought that perhaps he would run away with Lark after school - run away to wherever she wanted to go as long as it was somewhere that made her happy but now that hardly seemed to be the option open to him and perhaps it never was. His fingertips continued to stroke the Familiar's wings on both sides, "Mmm, I guess that will depend on what happens in the future. For now I don't want to plan that far ahead in case things change again. I want to be thankful for ... what Freya and I have right now. If the time comes for me to follow her or stay behind ... I will make the choice then but I am pretty sure, right now, I'd go with her to the ends of Halloween and back if that is where she wanted to go and I wouldn't hesitate about it either."

Simply because right now wherever Freya was there was never a dull moment. They both always had fun together doing as they pleased and even though injuries often occurred ... He still had fun with her and that had to account for something.

The Familiar took the answer in and seemed pleased with it letting out a low quiet hooting sound in reply and then proceeded to go on to her next order of business, "Will you go hunting with me, Kajika?" she asked softly. It was rare for her to outright ask even though he often wandered outside with her for just a simple flight without her asking. It was possibly because she used his true name rather than his alias that alerted him a bit but still he couldn't reject her request, Endzela was allowed to ask him for as many favors as she saw fit when she used his name.

"Of course, Endzela," he said softly as he then gathered her up in his arms. Kettil paused for a second as he wrote a note, folded it, and clipped it onto the door. It was a small note for Freya's eyes.

'Went out hunting with Endzela, I'll see you in a bit. If you want to invade my room for a bit until I get back, feel free.

- Ket & Endy'

Then off they walked together.
