Alright, Majanga did not want her cubs, that was cool. Hell, to him she was probably useless. She let out a sigh. If she had been a fighter than maybe he would have some use for her, but she could hardly even hunt, let alone fight another feline. Majanga was all about fighting and she was, well she wasn't peaceful, but she didn't go out of her way to cause violence.

They really were from two different worlds. Star-crossed lovers, she thought dreamily. He said that he did not want to bare his cubs because he didn't want hybrid cubs. It was such a shame, she thought. They would have beautiful cubs together.

Instead of wallowing in self pity, Daiyu had decided to find a lovely male cheetah to trick into helping her. She would pretend to be interested in him and once she was sure she was pregnant she would ditch him and go back to Majanga. he would be so pleased with her and then maybe he would let her be his mate.

Once she returned their relationship would be perfect. He would love and adore her and her cubs. They would be a real family.

Now there was the problem with finding a male she could use and ditch. It was something that bugged Daiyu. She didn't want to hurt someone, but it was needed. Hopefully she would find someone who was able to bounce back from being left, or even better, maybe she could be the one ditched. She hoped for the best.

She was on the outskirts of the jungle, where the trees began to shrink. They weren't as large as the ones she was used to, but that wan't an issue. She was planning on seeing many sights she wasn't used to. If needed, she would travel as far as she could to find a male. Hopefully it wouldn't come to that, but if it did she would do it.

User Image Kairos, was an idiot. Well not in the literal term, he came from a good, educated, well mannered family but freedom was approved and everything he was brought up with learning went to hell in a hand basket. The taste of freedom was so sweet, but it did come with a hidden price.. His sister had 'disappeared', therefore, he had to look for her. Because of her, he was free, but still trapped and bound. 'Persphone, Oh where~ oh where can you be dear sister..' He thought, shaking his head as he lapped at a watering hole. The male had gone far, far from home. Normally, one could find him racing across the savanna for his life, and full of happiness and light. Everything about him, just beamed of joyous energy..which others would label him an idiot for. But today, he was 'normal'. Having did a long stretch of a run across a forest, racing a boar but not for his life.

The boar had least speed and duration than Kairos but still was it an adrenaline rush! For the moment though, he was re-cooperating and lifted his head in a random direction.. Smiling, it was so much prettier out here than in his pride.. Well. Not really, but there was so much more to see and he loved the grand view of things. He was.. so small compared to all of this! Then he look at another direction only to see someone which got his jaw to drop. He didn't have a lot of those just wondering around his pride either.. Taking a step forward mezmorizingly before trotting after her. "Um.. Hey!..Ah.. " Studdering almost, but his voice was regal and with a weird 'accent'.

Taking another step before his foot slid on the water in the watering hole, it was shallow enough to easily dismiss but the ruckus it made when he tripped wasn't so easy to look over. "Heh~" The nervous chuckle came from him before he leaped out, shook his fur and started to find a way to go up to her, if she hadn't already noticed him. A huge dumbfounded smile across his maw. "Hello~" The cheetah called out to the other, hoping that this one wasn't like the last two he had met. Grouchy.. But at least he didn't spook away any prey animals today!

A voice, well that is interesting. Daiyu looked to see who it was. It was a pleasant surprise when she the handsome cheetah. She thought that looks wise he looked perfect. Majanga had a blue son, this cheetah was blueish, though not the right color, but that didn't matter. Majanga would be happy either way. He was always complaining about not having enough cubs to train. He even sent his own son to bring back new members. Daiyu planned on doing one better and bringing her own litter back to him. She would be his favorite, that was for sure.

She gave the cheetah a grin. She listened to his voice. It was interesting, she decided. A giggle escaped her when tripped into the watering hole. It would seem that she wasn't the only klutzy one. "Hello friend." she said with a nod. She watched him curiously. "Are you from around here?" This territory was new to her and thought that if anything she could get some directional help from him, if not more.

"I am new to this area. My home is a ways away. I've been traveling now and I was hoping there was a place to rest near by." She gave him a gentle smile. He was the first cheetah she had ran into. She had thought that it would be difficult to find one, but it had been a bit easy. Now she had to see if he was the right one. The one to help her get pregnant.

She knew it was terrible to use someone then leave, but it was for a good reason. If it wasn't for that she wouldn't do it.

Taking a step back, he shook himself lightly as to not wet the female and then bowed his head. "Unfortunately, I was not graced to have been born here, but surely, as night is not too far off, and you are in need of rest, I have made a temporary living courters." His regal accent having shown through his extended speech. "Forgive me- of addressing 'hey' but I have only known of others out here speak in this tongue. But I shall be more than happy to assist in you, although like you- my home is far off this beaten path." Then lifted it slowly, his dark sea green hair, flowing long, unlike normal cheetah manes. His, whispy and long strands flowed upon on eye...

"It is in my nature to be hospitable, and if I may be blunt, you are beautiful and thus-.. I could not believe you were alone. If there is anything.. I may help with please let me know.." Stuttering, and stumbled on some words- but he made it. Little did he know what he was getting in to, in the land of the elves, most were all of kindness, shielded by this outside world. He had much to learn, and in his travels- and in this female he would see a world much different than what he had imagened. Betrayal. Lies. Sins. He needed this all- so his future may come to peace..

A genuine smile released out of him, he trusted fully, trusted openly.. And protected as if everyone was pure of intentions...

"M'lady?" Offering his paw..

This was a whole new experience for her. She hadn't ever been treated so kindly. Majanga usually just told her to shut up and go hunting for him. But this male was treating her proper and she liked it. Though she knew her heart would only belong to Majanga, she felt that she could use this male to help her get closer to him. Wouldn't Majanga be proud of her when she brought him a litter of cubs.

“I would like to stay with you if that's okay. If I am with someone I will feel a lot safer.” She said with a smile. Daiyu was already sure that she had found the right male for the job. He was kind and seemed so gentle. “Having some company would be greatly appreciated.”

Her paw went to his and she set it on his. “Thank you for helping me. It is rare to meet anyone out here who is so kind. Most of the felines I've met out here have been rude.” She thought to Majanga again. He could be rude, but when they first met he was so knightly, interested in only helping her. It was only once she started talking about romance that he started to be rude to her. She was sure though that once she had cubs for him, he would love her again like he did before.

It didnt help that he was going neither. All naive too, and smiled widely as he pulled her close to him. "And if one thing I am good at, I safety- unless your a sister that so happens to leave often for your own gain- then get lost however." Which was why he was left to retrieve her from the roguelands. He was sure that she did this on purpose, unlike how others saw her. He knew she was spacey and always wondering what was out there. At least she gave him a ticket to go free for some time.

It had been almost two weeks since he had traveled, and with that he learned some 'speech' the commoners used, but the lady before him was so beautiful he had almost forgotten what the 'hip' honey badger told him.

'Let looose! Dont get your fur in a knot! Ladies dig the fun guy, and all that blabber your talking, how bout simplifying it a little. Live a little! You said something bout freedom- well here it is! Dont waste it!'

"My apolo- I mean Im sorry. Im not er... Sis.. Er." One could see it on his face, the struggle it was for rogue speech... "My sis went exploring, NOw I got the duty on bringing her back. But not to worry, I dont think she wants to be found, let alone dragged back, so I got some time." Studdering, slowing down his speech, he really worked hard to simply everything, and honestly, the boy looked gulliable. Happy go lucky, and gushing energy.

"Come~" He spoke gently in to her ear and headed the opposite way.
"Hungry?" He sprung in front of her and started to walk backwards. A trick learned from months of boring lectures. A few more til they could get to the forest which was now in eyesight, not too far off. There- he could hunt anything for her. A goofy smile ear to ear, the nature of him could throw someone off, but he was a nice guy.

"Oh name? And your pride?"
"Oh, and do you know how to climb trees?"

Daiyu tilted her head, but gave out a laugh when he was talking about his sister. "I don't think that I am like that. I'm just a traveler." She couldn't help but laugh gently when he stumbled for words. "There is no need to be sorry. You did nothing wrong." He really was an interesting and kind cheetah. She felt that she found the perfect cheetah, except she knew in the end she would feel guilty about using him for her own gain. Majanga wanted cubs and this was really the only way to do it. In the end she hoped everyone would end up happy.

She felt her ears get warm when he whispered in her ear. To her it was such an intimate jester, and the thought of getting intimate with someone other then Majanga was outrageous. However she had a mission and she would complete it at all cost.

As she walked, she kept close beside them, leaving little room between them. "I am a little hungry." She said honestly, and smiled when he went in front of her. He was a talented cheetah, she would give him that. "Oh sorry I didn't realize I hadn't given you my name. It is Daiyu and I am from Mizani'Ulimwengu, at least part of it. There are two factions within the pride. I am part of the smaller one, that is ran my Lord Majanga."

She gave a smile when he asked is she climbed trees. "Never, it's not something I've ever thought of doing. Have you?"

"Kairos of the Tree Clan, At your service~ Lady Daiyu. So... You are not a rogue?" Counting in that she was hungry and all, made him start now, paying attention to hoove tracking. Flickering his ears every now and again to show he was paying attention to her. He had once thought her rogue but now, he wasn't so sure that being 'laid back' in his speech was the right move. Taking that in to account as he straightened his posture and looked more in the 'style' of his pride. The way they walk, the way they moved was fluid, and natural motions.

"A distant pride, but of my clan- yes. We do claim trees, and make our homes up there. Safe from most predators. I am not familiar with your pride- but.. may I ask- then why are you out here?" He turned to her, a face fully gullible and just waiting to get manipulated. Naive, and reckless, but at least he tried to hold back just for her- because she was one beaut!

Then he noticed how close she had gotten, and cracked a smile at the edge of his maw. Dipping his head lower to her height. Being tall with a long and whispy mane. "I M'lady doesn't mind height, my temporary home is up there. I can not shake old habits after all. I can set you up there, and bring you something I'm sure. Well, if that is alright with you?" They still had a walk to go, enough time to converse but the forest was now at least in eyesight.

Daiyu wasn't officially part of the pride, but she considered herself one. Unlike the other members she wasn't strong or clever, but she felt she had just as much passion toward the pride as anyone else. “My pride is very small at the moment, but we are a proud group.” She said with a nod. For a moment she paused. “I am here on a mission by the pride's lord. It is a secret mission that I am not allowed to speak about to others.” She explained.

“Living in trees sounds... interesting. I've never tried climbing a tree. It's probably a useful skill.” She said, thinking about how she could defend herself from attackers so she didn't always have to be saved. When she had some free time, she thought she would give it a try and see if she could learn how to climb. It might prove to be a useful skill for Majanga.

She had noticed the change in his poster. Was it something she said? She didn't want to upset him. So far he seemed to be such a kind cheetah. “What about you? What leads you so far from your pride?” She asked curiously.

"A small pride? We used to be very big I heard.. But I have grown used to our small numbers now. Being in trees, especially my clan is hard on the body. Or.. So I heard." A soft smile he offered her and softly touched her shoulder. "A mission? A secret~ You must be quite important to your pride then huh?" Winking at her. He was charming, that was all he had to him, but he was reckless- on the inside. It was just waiting to explode!

"It is, the trees are a very safe home, it is how we lived for many years. You know.. I can teach you how to climb trees. I'll have to if we want to get to where I made my temporary home. Unless you want to sleep on the ground floor- which I could not allow you to do so alone." A hefty nod then started to softly laugh. He was good in nature, all around.

"Oh my? M'Lady~ It is my dearest sister I have told you of. She had vanished- they sent me out to look for her but honestly.. She is too smart and I don't think she WANTS to be found." Sighing and shaking his head in almost defeat- genuinely defeat since he knew it was a loss cause. At least he could be out and about, and if he ran in to her- he would be sure to thank her for her going missing. Well, as long as she was healthy and safe he wouldn't be too mad.

"I'm enjoying the freedom~ I never ventured so far from the forest before... Silly because I find myself attracted to forests still even if I thought I was imprisoned in mine. Old farts yea know." A joke that he could only laugh to as the elder cheetahs were usually so old- stuck up and grouchy. They had long lasting traditions, set in stone! Nothing could shake them, except for someone going missing- thank GAWDs it was his sister, how fortunate he was!

"How long have you been out of your pride now? Yea know- since I'm out here- I should go see prides... Heh. Wouldn't it be funny if our prides knew each other~ What's its name?" Interested in her, and how absorbed and easily he was to speak to strangers. He was a cheeturs cheetah kinda cheetah. Joyful, upbeat, naive. His mane cover his face now with fine hairs.. Lengthy too. Distinctively from the elven pride. Their general shape slightly different, and he was proud of his heritage... sometimes. "Seeing them and meeting others traditions- Can't change the old ones minds- but I can sure try to make a revolt or something~" Again, something he would regret to say later in his years.

She looked away embarrassed. “It's very important to me at least. I want to prove that I'm just as important as any other members. It's hard though. They value strength and cunning. And that's wonderful traits, but traits I don't have.” She frowned. “This is the only way I know how to prove myself, by going on special missions.”

Daiyu had a chance to sleep up in the trees. She wondered what would happen if she rolled off it in the night. It probably wouldn't happen though. “Alright, I think it would be fun to sleep up in a tree. Why not try something new.” She nodded her head. Plus the view would be pretty great, she thought.

“If she doesn't want to be found why is your pride having you search for her? It seems silly to me.” She thought out loud. “Though I guess family should stick together, so it would make sense if that was the reason you need to find her. Either way I am sure that you'll find her eventually. Maybe she'll realize how much your pride misses her and she'll return.” One could always hope for the best.

“It would be interesting.” She said with a laugh. “Nguvu'tamma is it's name. I've been away for just a little bit. A few days. The pride doesn't have any allies right now. Lord Majanga is very cautious about other prides.” She grinned when talked about revolting. Majanga was set in his ways, and she understood how difficult it was to make him see things her way.

“I wish I could revolt, just tell Lord Majanga off, but whenever I even think about doing something like that I get so nervous that he'll get mad at me. I don't want anyone to ever be mad at me the pride.” She said, fattening her ears as she thought about it. She didn't want to anger anyone, especially Majanga. All she wanted was for him to be happy.

"Over so many years, its prison. I know my sister probably thought the same." They kept walking on, and the day started to escape them as he went on about hers and his life.

"Alliances are made to protect one another if the other gets attacked, I mean.. If I ever meet them.. I would like to?" He smiled widely and gingerly. "I would love to teach you the skill of our blood, then maybe you can apply this skill to the ones that say you are worthless because for one. You are not. Two. Because...because.." He had lost his train of thought and looked wildly lost for a moment before he looked at her, taking in her beauty and simply laughing humbly. "Here.. Its all about the momentum. Watch.."

He softly leaned against her enough for their shoulders to brush before he buckled his paws behind him to book it towards a large tree, that, with few branches but enough to grab on to. As soon as he came close to the tree, he pushed off the ground and in to the tree enough to use his force to go up on to one of the branches, catch on to another and slide on a thicker one at the top enough to stand after the force it took for him to get up.. "Did you see that m'lady!? The force once takes from the ground, can use it to climb!" He called out to her, hoping she was in distance enough to hear.

"You try!" Wagging his tail happily, excited to have to teach, and overly excited and enthusiastic about having company. The wind started to pick up and his mane blew every which way, and the breeze made him forget to look up, and how the sky started to darken with clouds..

Then a rumble came not too long after, enough to shake the ground and make him scramble to grab on to the truck. "Wha~ What was that?!" Looking about.. looking for some kind of 'lion' the legendary animal that can make the ground shake beneath them, he hadn't seen one for himself, but he was again probably too dense to know that it was the weather changing.. he thought it was the one whom killed cheetahs! His demeanor changed from playful to worried and jumpy.. Looking all which ways frantically..

She nodded her head. Alliances were important to prides. She knew that if worst comes to worst, Lord Majanga would find a pride to make an alliance with. It would be his decision though. She might bring it up to him though. If he thought it was a good idea he would be happy with her and not think of her so poorly.

She continued to listen to him talk, even letting out a small laugh when he seemed to loose track of the conversation. The brief moment of them touching made her happy. She watched him jump up the tree, her mouth a little open as her eyes followed him. “That was impressive!” She called out. If she tried, she knew she would fail. She wasn't the type who could do something so talented and graceful. But at the same time she didn't want to disappoint her new friend by not even trying.

She took a step back before taking a bolt forward. As she ran toward the tree, she mentally prepared herself for what was going to come next. However before she could jump she felt the ground tremble. She quickly dug her claws into the ground to hold herself steady. “I'm not sure.” She said, her voice shaky. If something attacked them now, she wasn't sure what she would do. She couldn't fight off an attacker, she would get herself killed!

Then the thunder started... then the clap which shook the land. He looked up to the sky as his ears panned backwards. "It's the sky!" He called down to her, the quickly jumped down and circled around her. The land was moved, and prey beasts started to scatter from their dens and un-hid themselves from the world. Across the way, he could see wildebeests running across the land and away from the rain that started to come down like a raging buffalo.

"We have to get out of here- I den not too far from here. Follow me!" He called after her and quickly ran through the long grass and in between his feet he could feel things brushing between them, furry. Hares. Quickly scampering about them- along with rodents and things. It seemed the ground was moving, not only the sky had its issues.

He abruptly stopped to cling to the ground when he felt it shake violently. Right when it was done- he shot out from the grass and on top of a ledge. "OVER HERE!" He screamed out and jumped up and around what looked to be a den made from a rockledge. Under it, looked nicely shaped, someone had to have lived under here. As soon as he saw her fur- he grabbed at her and pulled her in. Literately at their heels was a storm chasing after them and held her close.

His breath heeving a little, but it had mostly been from the adrenaline rush. "You ok?" He said softly against her ear..
Trying to catch his breath still.

All the while they saw animals going about the ledge even jumping over it but none stopping to hide under it. Maybe because they were preybeasts- they didn't know any better. But, he knew right now, this was the safest place. Oh and if they needed any food, likely one of the prey beasts must have been stupid enough to get hurt after all the confusion. Still the claps of thunder and storm continued...

Daiyu looked up at the sky, seeing the dark clouds form above. She kept close to Kairos as he ran. “I'm right behind you,” She said avoiding the other creatures who were running about. Her heart was pounding with each step she took. Everything around her seemed to be shaking. She had never been in a storm like this one.

When he stopped, she almost ran into him, though she barely avoided it. She regained her balance and looked around. Running after him proved difficult. As she trailed behind him, it became clear that he was much more graceful and agile then her. She was having a hard time keeping up as well as avoiding tripping.

She heard his voice and followed in that direction. As he pulled her in, she gave a sigh of relief. The running was over and she could finally take a breather. The den seemed like it would keep them safe for the time being. “I think I am fine,” she said as she panted. She burrowed her face into his chest as the thunder roared. “I wasn't expecting this.” She watched the prey animals dart around in a panic. The day started off so nicely. The prey animals probably didn't know what hit them.

With the thunder continuing, her body started to shiver. She did not like the loud noise it made and how it shook the ground. For the most part, her life was quiet and peaceful. Nothing like this though. She tried to calm herself down as she kept herself close to Kairos. Hopefully he wouldn't mind, she thought. She just didn't know what else to do. "I'm sorry." She whispered, feeling pathetic.
