The fandom blew many obvious things out of proportion to the point of me facepalming, it's sad because they can't see the very obvious reasons for the "New character" And the awesome game port.
1. I'm pretty sure that Nomura doesn't get paid to make just any game that he wants to, he has to do the stuff that sells, the company isn't going to pay him to take risks all the time, why do you think that the twewy cast was in KH: DDD? They needed to give a rise to the game's popularity, sadly the way it sold here, and around originally, did not make the success that it needed. Twewy Solo Remix is to get new fans into the series, in an actually amazing way. The new character must somehow relate to the new game no? Why would it just be shown there? Solo Remix is the original game with:
Better Graphics, Sound Quality, full length music, more songs, the ability to have random tweets on random people, and twitter friends(admittedly doesn't care for this feature.)
There are a few flaws to this game that aren't too bad actually, but it does take away from the overall experience of the original game. Though it's harder to describe, and certainly is written harder below than it actually is, it's not that bad.
Battles between enemies require you to summon your partner, sort of like a pen, but that you use it at the same time, and that it has a cool down to how long you can use your partner. Because of the IOS limitations, Joshua no longer has the ability to use his regular phone attacks once you unlock his Jesus beams as far as I know. The boss battle between enemies like Koki Kariya, and Uzuki is different, because you don't attack them simultaneously, one poofs in, similar to your partner and will fight you at random, with the exception that you can also hurt their partner, your partner cannot take damage. When you fight Megumi and Shiki, sadly the besides that fact that Shiki isn't 100% present throughout the whole fight, and the same can be said for Beat, despite being able to use them, you don't get the same level of challenge as the original. I was a tad disappointed as well with which songs they remixed, and when, some of the music is fitting, and amazing, some of it is implemented at the wrong time, but some of it is spectacular. The One Star to my disappointment was not what was heard during the fight between you and Megumi, instead, I got an interesting remix of calling, if I'm not mistaken. These songs are amazing, but repetitive because you hear mainly the remixes, though the original themes are present through the CDS, instead of hearing the regular version of calling, I've been subjected to hearing the Kingdom Hearts version about eight thousand times now, which I actually like, but hearing it gets repetitive, when you fight Megumi in his noise form, the song is a pretty bad a** version of twister, but then when you fight Draco Cantus, it's the original version, the ending theme in my opinion is awesome, yet nowhere near as memorable now so that takes a way a bit, but this was fun, everything in it is worth replaying, in fact, I don't want to replay my ds one as much because of how well they did with it.
I am not being sarcastic, some of these are flaws, and this was also a remix. It wasn't bad, it was actually more fun, despite the mishaps as stated above.
If I had to legitimately rate this, then I would give it a 8/10, for the stated reasons, and yet, it still did bring life back into the game, just look at how well they modeled the characters in comparison to the original.
Neku did not look this good on the DS. http://www.abload.de/img/howbigisretinacomparikjpq2.jpg http://www.myigadget.com/blog-en/blog/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/49d5twewy7-300x200.jpg http://www.pocketgamer.co.uk/FCKEditorFiles//top-10-aug-twewy.jpg Now to be fair, the graphics are probably hard to show from a phone to the computer, and close up, they are much better than this.

IOS doesn't have that issue due to the fact that they were allowed more space than a DS cartridge and filters such as the ones you see in the game, namely a softener that allowed them to give them a deep outline and give it a human (rounded) shape rather that the sharp, spiky look of pixel graphics.

Well yeah, and I don't hate the DS version by the way, I was only trying to help clarify some of the differences between both of the version, not hating on either one, because personally they are both pretty equal.

Though I do genuinely care for your opinion on Solo Remix, elaborate more on Joshua :'D Or Megumi and Hanekoma, those 2 are the characters that I don't have the greatest amount of information on. Joshua's a given exception TROLOLOL (( I gave up on the walkthroughs because they were so painful to watch D< ))
Joshua: How does he look? Any new dialogue I should be aware of? For his fusion, do you need to put the cards in order and be careful of the upside-down ones? GIMME DETAILS D:<
Megumi: Any new dialogue? Especially the drawn-out conversation, where you can answer his two questions. Did that minor dialogue change? Is his sprite any prettier? Did his snake/dragon Noise form change at all, ever?
Hanekoma: HOW WAS YOUR FIGHT WITH HIM? xD He's easily the hardest boss in my opinion. Has his appearance changed in the slightest? Is his Noise still red Leo and blue Tigris?
I'ma go leave now. Bye!

I'ma go leave now. Bye! No, nothing is changed for the story, it is exactly the same story, if they did any change, I can assure you that it is so minor that I didn't notice it. There is one edit to the Noise form boss between Megumi and Neku plus Shiki and Beat, when you get caught in a bubble, it lifts you up, and you got to try to escape his blast while knocking the crap out of him, and escaping the bubble, very minor, it's like the minor change with how you got to fight both bat bosses, your partner has to get up to the top, towards the area with the lights and such, kill the bats that are stopping the light, then finish the boss off with Neku. But it's still on one screen which is why these photo angles change, it's nothing too serious, and I actually didn't mind it, added a new challenge to this. I could go into a bit more detail: IN fact the theme is different every time you see Dead Man's Pad, and Megumi talking to people, it's epic though, and personally works just as well as the original. When you fight him the first time, you know, Megumi and Shiki at the same time, the theme The One Star, is absent, instead, regular calling plays for some bad reason, this is my only serious objection, everything else in the game, including the twister remix after this fight during the battle between his noise form is actually much better. The final fight against Megumi has the exact same theme as the original. I did not get to Another Day AKA: Secret Day X yet. I never said that I fought Hanekoma yet. XD I can give an update on that aspect once I complete the secret reports on here.

Is it just me or have I never noticed the "i" right before "j" in Megumi's last name before now. D8 Kitanji is what I thought it said, but it's Kitaniji. LOL! emotion_facepalm
