 Arachne had arrived at the Ithambo'hlabathi lands with her two traveling companions. She had been the leader of their group, though she never asked for the title. Since she had been young she had always been so awkward around others. How she was able to be a leader was beyond her. She did get them to the pride safely however and for now that is all that mattered. The Bonelands had different traditions than she had known. No matter where she lived she would continue with her old ways.
She wanted to learn more about the bonelands, to make sure it was the best spot for them. There were a few members of the pride she had met so far, but she kept herself distant from them. However it occurred to her that doing that was not the best tactic. She needed to make sure that those in this pride were nice enough. If they were cruel she would get her companions and leave.
Arachne stayed in the open plain so that no one could sneak up on her. Until she knew the pride more she could not trust them. She had to keep all eyes and ears open, prepared for an attack at any moment. Hopefully others would understand her paranoia. Being in a new pride was nerve racking after all.

 Luckily for Arachne, there was always one lioness who stay almost always on the outskirt of the pride. It's where she felt most at home and where she wasn't always constantly bother by the other lioness who thought she needed hunting training, which was ALL the time.
Limber enjoy herself out here. It's where she could find the most stuff to make her arts and craft and do it in peace without people judging her. She could make plenty of items, and quickly run back to her den without others stopping her or bugging her about why she wasn't trying to get better at hunting.
Today she was making a bracelet. Which switch from berry to pebble. She had found the prettiest group of blue pebbles a little ways from here so she couldn't past up the opportunity of making a bracelet with them. She had place the pebbles with bright red berries she found close to her den which just set each color off wonderfully. She smiled looking at her work and quickly placed it around her wrist, it looked wonderful against her black and brown coat.
She gently looking around as she notice a dark brown lion with dark reddish-brown marking and she froze. She wondered how long she has been there and most of all how much she had saw. Limber had yet to seen this lioness so maybe she was new. Maybe she wouldn't hate her as much as the other lioness did. She looked down and gave the lioness a friendly wave.

Arachne noticed a lioness waving at her. There was some sort of bracelet around her, Arachne noticed. She wondered if it was some sort of tradition in the pride. The lioness didn't seem to be a threat, however Arachne kept her guard up as she walked over to her, her eyes watching for any sign of attacking.
"Hello," Arachne greeted simply, keeping her eyes on the lioness. "You are from Ithambo'hlabathi? I just recently arrived with a small band." She explained as she sat down. Her eyes went to the lioness bracelet again. Such a curious thing. There had been some lions and lioness who decorated themselves with jewelry, but she had never participated in that. She was happy without it. The bracelet was pretty though.
"Your bracelet is very lovely." She stated, looking at the lioness in the eyes again. "My name is Arachne by the way. I was wondering if you could tell me about your pride? I don't know much about. I haven't talked much to anyone else in the pride. Is there any traditions I should know about?" She hoped she wasn't coming off rude. Paranoid was something she didn't mind being called, but rude. Never.

Limber watched as the other looked to her and she smiled, hoping that she was friendly enough. She squeaked a bit as the other female talked and nodded. "Yes, I am. Really? That's neat. I'm sure....err well I'm glad your here!" she said with a happy smile.
She wasn't too sure how others would feel about new females but she was happy, really if the female was nice enough to talk to her.
She squeak and flushed as the female talked about the bracelet on her arm and looked away. "T-thank you." she stopped and look back her with a small smile. "I'm limber and I might not be the best to talk too...but if you're ok with that then I will try to help...." she said blushing.Club Snails OH GAWD! I'm so sorry. OTL gonk

Never before had she met a lioness quite like this one, Arachne thought as she listened to Limber. It didn't worry Arachne though. She figured that meeting a variety of different lioness was better then meeting only certain type of lioness. It allowed her to have a larger understanding of the situation around her. That and Arachne wouldn't classify herself as a normal lioness as well, even if she did her best to blend in.
"Why wouldn't you be good to talk to?" she asked curiously, wondering if Limber had gotten into troubles with some of the other lioness. If so, Arachne would have to evaluate the situation and decide if she wanted to be associated with this lioness. Limber didn't seem like a violent type, but sometimes it was hard to judge upon first glance.

She looked down. She was worried. Limber was an outcast towards most of the lioness in her pride. She was weird, she wasn't into hunting and didn't enjoy killings animals and bringing them in to the food pride. Instead she enjoy making things with her hands. She was excellent with berries and leaves and enjoyed the taste greatly.
She fiddle with her paws unsure if she wanted to tell the other lioness. She worried that she would hate her after she spoke. She gather some air and gently realsed. "Um...Welll because I'm not like other lioness. I don't like to hunt and I rather just make bracelets like these." she stop to raise her paw in shame, "And that's not what are pride is about. We have strong ladies who go hunt for food, like I should be doing but my sister takes up the slack for me because I am weak and clumsy.....So I don't have to so i can make things like these. I make her some too but she doesn't enjoy them...most do not enjoy them..." she said in a weak voice.

Arachne listened carefully. She could understand a pride not being proud of a member that didn't have the skills they were looking for, but she couldn't understand them not accepting her for being herself. "I am sorry to hear that." She said coolly, keeping her thoughts to herself. "I think there is nothing wrong with you making your lovely trinkets. I am sure that most of the members understand that not everyone is cut out to be a huntress. Some lack the skill, but they make up for it in other ways."
She couldn't personally relate. If her pride needed her she did her best to rise to the occasion. The thought gave her an idea. "Have you tried practicing hunting? Sometimes practicing helps you become a better huntress." When her pride needed her for something and she wasn't terrible good at it, she would do her best to learn that skill. "If you need help hunting I could help you. In return maybe you could help me fit in with the rest of the pride."
It wasn't really a matter of fitting in, but learning about how the pride operated so she wouldn't be too much of a nuisance.
