It seemed the path ahead of her was getting a little clearer. Her journey had just recently begun and she was already weary from traveling, but this didn’t stop her. She wasn’t going to budge and change her mind. This was something she needed to do as a chance for her to grow mentally as well as possibly develop some long-term relationships if she came across anyone else. It was a lonely endeavor, which was something she accepted once she first started but her mind was clear and set on what she needed to do.
As she ventured further along the path, she half-wished her sister was there beside her. Even if she didn’t speak much just her presence alone would have been enough. Sometimes it was nice to have someone to talk to every now and then. Even her brothers would have been good enough company even if they didn’t see eye to eye on much. This didn’t mean she disliked them. In fact it was a complete opposite.
“Spirits watch over me.” She spoke softly into the cool air. The path she was walking on was beginning to disappear into nothing which only meant she was going to have to go through the area blindly. Suspense filled her at the thought of venturing into territory she didn’t know. Then again this whole journey was traveling into uncharted waters and she didn’t know what dangers lied ahead of her. It was exciting even though she didn't really show it. It was Uta Sorry for a short beginning post D8

XxPrimevalPandaxX ((No worries at all! It was a perfectly fine post. n_n )) The stallion picked his way through the foliage of the small woods. Autumn was fast upon the world, the air cool and crisp, with the greens of summer fading in to browns and reds and oranges of harvest. The land was preparing for its great sleep of winter, and Aurelian wasn't entirely looking forward to the prospect of ice, snow, and cold. It would be his first winter away from the more temperate coast of his seaside home, and while he was certain he would fare well enough, he didn't cherish the idea of what mood it would put his tail in.
It had been particularly feisty in the days previous, snapping at his hooves, and generally getting under foot at every turn. The creature wasn't terribly hostile, but it could just as easily turn on him as it could 'cuddle' against his leg. "Enough with the nipping, please!" The stallion's ears flattened momentarily as he glanced back behind him. He gave his tail a small shake, hoping to dislodge the small skull that had nipped (for the umpteenth time) at the back of his leg. "I lose enough blood without your help, remember." He reminded the creature, whose beady, red eyes peered mischieviously up at him.
A small creel was the only apology he was given, before It fluttered to the side. The little beast had enough sense to make sure he 'pulled' Aurelian's tail in reprimand as it decided to sulk.
Heaving a heavy sigh, the violet maned stallion continued his journey, allowing his cat-like tail to drag behind him. While he did not envy his sister with her huge hair monster, at least hers seemed tame enough. Aurelian, for the life of him, just couldn't seem to calm down his own companion. Step by step, the stallion knew he would need to hunt soon. The berries and grasses he had been thriving on in the days past simply weren't enough. In addition, the blood that dripped from his back and down his face form his eye took a heavy toll on the knight. Not only did it force him to need him to need spill others blood, but at times kept him weaker than he wished to be. Worse, many looked upon him as the villain as opposed to the hero. . . the judgement within the Kawani was difficult to avoid, especially looking as he did!
Thankfully, though, Aurelian was not a quitter. So it was, he kept up his walk and his journey to learn the path of knighthood, and of course, to do right in the eyes of the world. There were people to protect, soquili to save, monsters and villains to destroy. He was vanquish evil, become the thing of legends. . . . He would --
Movement up ahead stopped the stallion, as well as his train of thought. Crimson eyes fell upon what appeared to be a pale figure touched in vibrant blue. He couldn't discern much else, though he did step aside for her to pass. He did not wish the mare to think him trouble, especially given his rather bloodied and awkward appearance. "M'lady." He spoke, dipping his head as was proper. See? Harmless.

The young mare was very deep in thought, mainly to keep her mind off the fact she would be leaving her family for a long time. It bothered her sometimes, but not all the time. It was something she would simply need to grow on it and mature, which would be a slow process. Right now, she was continuing on her path finding the scenery to be very calming as well so the walking wasn't so bad as of yet.
Lifting her head up, she noticed a stallion off to the side of the path, which didn't frighten her one bit. When she heard him say something, she walked by slowly eying the stallion for a second before stopping there beside him. "Hello." She spoke softly to him before noticing his tail was very different. It was moving and appeared to be somewhat...alive. This didn't scare her, but more intrigued her. Though that could wait for another time because she was more concerned about why he was bleeding and if it was his blood. "Are you hurt or is this someone else's blood?" It was a little bold of her to ask, but she couldn't let him wander by if he was hurt. She was a very helpful Soq so it was something she really liked doing. Well it was one of the things as least.
This was definitely a strange stallion in the look department, but she wasn't going to hold that against him. Her own family was odd and honestly this was nothing compared to all of them. They were just all....a pain at times. It was an ever expanding family and it seemed it wasn't ever going to stop getting larger. It was only a matter of time before her sister was having children or her cousins and brothers. She couldn't even see herself with children at the moment. Not..not until this journey was over.
"My name is Nidawi. What is yours?"

Aurelian was both pleased and surprised to find that the mare approached without hesitation or uncertainty. She didn't stare at him and gape, she didn't glower and attempt to flee or drive him off, to dub him some sort of monster. Still, he did watch as her eyes drifted to his tail, and It had turned it's little beady, red eyes on to the stranger. It hissed and clacked its jaws at the mare in some sort of . . . greeting.
Aurelian moved his tail to the opposite side, even if the flapping, flighty creature could easily resume its position. His hair was long enough that, for the most part, the creature had quite a bit of reign around Aurelian's person. Good for It. Bad for Aurelian, or any guests.
"I'm quite fine, m'lady," the stallion spoke when she questioned. He dipped his head, even as more blood rolled out of his crimson eye and down his snout. "Even if I do look a bit disheveled. The blood is my own, unfortunately, and is not something that can be so easily healed." Or healed ever, really. His entire family had tried, and no amount of unicorn magic or herbal, natural remedies relieved him of the blood. It was, in part, another reason why he hunted.
"A pleasure to meet you, lady Nidawi. I'm Aurelian and this . . . is It. Please forgive his behavior, he's a trifle . . . unruly." The stallion grimaced slightly, even as the hair monster snapped again at Nidawi, giving something akin to a low growl. Chances were, the tail monster was as hungry as Aurelian. . . . which put it in a more surly mood.

The young mare watched the creature attached to the stallion's tail very closely. She wasn't scared and by no means was she going to move away from him either. She found this all too interesting to simply wander off away from him. "I am glad to hear your doing well." She said very calmly even though she was a little fearful the creature on his tail would n** her. "Your own?" She didn't understand it at first and didn't know how someone could have blood that couldn't be removed. So if she cleaned it off would it come back? It intrigued her and made her wonder even more what was making it like that. "Is there anything I could do? Is it a mutation of some sort?" She didn't fully understand it, but she wasn't about to judge him either. "I just hope it's not painful for you..that would be completely tragic and dreadful." She murmured lightly before looking into the distance.
She then turned her head and looked down at the creature in his tail. "Unruly? Hmm I don't really have a problem with it. But yes...it is a pleasure to meet you as well. Is there anything your up to at this very moment? I'm sorry if I sound pushy.." She asked curiously with her head tilting very slightly to the side. She didn't want to bother the stallion. It was the last thing she really wanted to do right now. Slowly her eyes shifted back up to the sky.
