F'law had found it difficult to find Benden riders to eat with, and he wasn't comfortable with the Trine and Malvren riders. He was sure N'mol would rather he wasn't hanging around all the time. So he had eaten quickly and left. The young man kept to the mostly covered walk-ways as he ambled. He has absolutely no idea what to do with himself now. His feet turned toward his dragon's wallow. Maybe he could check up on the blue and see if he needed anything.

What troubles you Mine? Zurith lifted his dark head and turned green eyes on his rider.

"I don't know what to do with myself. There's just too many riders and none of them familiar. This whole place isn't familiar." It was a pitiful arguement, but the best he could make.

The blue considered this a moment. We could go flying, or you could take me to the feeding pens. I wouldn't mind a small herdbeast today. Zurith stretched his wings and neck. Getting familiar with the territory might help you fit in better with the other riders. The dragon offered.

F'law blanched at the thought of flying. How was it he had come to Impress a dragon? Whoever had heard of a rider scared to fly his own dragon? He was ashamed that he was scared, but tried not to show it. Shells forbid he'd tell anyone. "Maybe we could get you something to eat." Meek but it wouldn't be as bad as flying; though he had to admit the blue had a point.

Kindra was down in the feeding pens, Suunath had been feeling hungry but had been waiting to allow some of the smaller dragons to eat first, Kindra hadn't been pleased about it but there wasn't much she could do, it wasn't like she could force Suunath to eat. She'd had about enough Suuanth finally decided to select her herdbeasts, she chose only two, knowing that Trine Weyr was limited and stretched

"SUUNATH!" scolded Kindra "How are you supposed to be an example to the other dragons as you -oh so- wish to be if you virtually starve yourself. I'm SURE Trine weyr can spare whatever you need to eat" she snapped at the Gold, rolling her eyes as Suunath grumbled an arguement but Kindra was stubborn and so Suunath selected ONE more (small) Herdbeast and ate dreadfully slowly, one large faceted eye directly on Kindra, accusing, silently judging.. Kindra didn't care, she'd at least made Suunath eat more than the Gold had been planning to. She didn't notice a Blue and his rider come down to the pens at first until Suunath tilted her head in the direction F'law and Zurith were coming from, Kindra was relieved to see a sort of, familiar face, she knew he was from Benden from his Knots. "Greetings, Suunath appears to have eaten as much as she will" she growled a little, pushing mentally on her Gold in reprimand "The feeding pens are free if your Blue doesn't mind a little chasing, seems the herdbeasts are a little riled right now" she said, her mouth twitching into what could be construed as a tiny smirk.

It was a slight surprise to see the small gold of Benden there feeding. Of course the gold had to eat too, but there was so few he rarely saw them at the pens. There seemed to be an undercurrent between dragon and rider; F'law shuffled his feet until Kindra noticed him.

"Weyrwoman," he said respectfully, watching Suunath dine slowly. "I don't think Zurith would mind a chase." F'law glanced at his blue, "looks like you've got your work cut out for you this time. Go to it." It was a interesting to watch his dragon fly while he was standing on the ground. "Is she giving you troubles about the shortages?" He had had thoughts about that. There was wild beasts and wherries they could hunt, though it would mean slightly more work for the dragons to eat.

Zurith warbled a polite greeting to the queen as she ate. Are the beasts tender? He gave a croon to his. I will be quick, and I don't mind a good chase. The blue bobbed his head to Suunath and took off winging across the pens. He stirred them up a bit more before selecting a small wherry to bring back. Settling a distance from the gold so as not to crowd her while he ate.
