Phina currently stood in her closet looking for something to where. She decided she was going to out and had have a drink at a nice lounge she hadn't been to in a while. She didn't care that it was monday, one bit. She had been very busy over the weekend and had not gotten the chance to relax, so now that opportunity presented itself she wasn't about to let it pass.

She pulled out a simple black dress that hugged all the right places and had nice long sleeves so that she didn't need a jacket despite the cooler night air. She pulled a pair of muted gold pumps and headed out to find some complimenting jewelry.

She grabbed her phone, dropping the outfit on her bed and heading to sit in front of the vanity. Scrolling through her phone, she came to the number she was looking for and dialed, but her phone and speaker and going about picked jewelry.

A voice on the other end came through, "Hello. I was calling to see if you wanted to get a drink with me tonight. I know this great lounge downtown. How about it, you up for a little fun?" Her voice was probably a little more suggestive that it need to be, but she really didn't care.

Noah did quirk an eyebrow at the concept of getting a drink on a Monday night, something he hadn't done since moving back to Destiny City. Was there any place with the lights on on a Monday night here?

But Phina was fun and hey, he deserved a night out, damn it.

He asked where the place was and set off. Clothes were difficult. Normally he wouldn't care so much but Phina was a fashionable lady and he didn't want her to turn her nose up at him. Obviously the clothes she picked out for him were good choices, but as far as putting the actual outfit together, he was blindly guessing and erred on the side of caution with blacks and grays because who needs matching with those. Pft.

It wasn't long before he was on his bike and off, maybe even to the point it seemed like he rushed. And he did, a little bit. He was excited, sue him.

Phina was glad to hear Noah agree to the drink, gave the lounges address and continued to ready herself. She picked out a necklace, a nice bracelet and small earrings, before pulling her hair up and pinning her waves of hair into place lightly. She didn't mind that a few strand hung loosely as she did not expect her hair to remain up.

Phina slipped into the black mini dress and stepped into her muted gold pumps, applying a bit of make up, a dash of perfume and she was ready. She wasn't worried that Noah would make it before her, Phina liked to look nice and she doubted most men minded. She headed out to, getting into her car and heading off to the lounge.

She pulled into the lounge parking lot after a relatively short drive as she lived in Downtown Destiny City. Stepping out of her car she looked for Noah's short purple locks, as well as his motorcycle in case he was already inside.

"Showing all that leg just for me? I'm flattered," Noah smirked, leaning on his bike, waiting. It might've been more practical to go inside, especially with the nights getting colder, but he had never been to this place and decided to wait for his field guide to lead the way into his low, low expectations of Destiny City's nightlife.

It was a big enough city to have one, though. He didn't know why he couldn't seem to grasp onto the belief that it could actually be decent. Maybe it was because he hadn't been in town since he was a bratty teenager and these streets were associated with more childish memories.

Seraphina laughed then have him a sultry look, making her way over to him "but of course, thought you might enjoy a little preview." She gave him a grin linking arms with him and moving toward the lounges front door. She dropped her voice low and continued on, "maybe you'll get a full view sometime."

Inside the lounge music played, to one side you could see backless couches around the wall, a few tables to stand at scattered about the floor and a bar that ran along the back wall. The other side housed more backless couches around the wall, but the floor was open for dancing and the lights were dimmed a bit, but people could be seen dancing.

Phina looked to Noah, "I think I'm more interest and getting something to drink right now. It's been a long Monday."

Noah just winked back, the most reaction escaping his mouth was a grin. Phina was fun. Damn.

"Yeah, not much of a dancer, more of a browser," He admitted with a laugh, and with no qualms about making a comment like that in Phina's presence. They were just hanging out, right? It would be silly to pretend he totally didn't look at other women.

"And a drink sounds fantastic," He said with a long groan, taking that as a cue to start pulling this walk towards the bar. "It was exhausting enough to be a Friday today anyway," He quipped in excuse as he pointed to a beer bottle in the back displaying their brands as an order for the barkeeper. He was always wary of verbalizing what he wanted when there was music playing. No one ever seemed to hear you right.

Phina laughed lightly her grin still in place, "I very much love to dance and I'd imagine you very much like to watch. Though," she leaned a little closer. "I'd have to image though you might like to dance. I've got some interesting moves."

Phina laughed again and ran her fingers down his arm before turning toward the bar, "I must agree though. Eye candy is quite nice."

She looked over the selection of drinks trying to figure out what is was she wanted before deciding on a Mai Tai. Just a little something fruity to start off the night. She sat and looked to Noah.

"So what happened last time, you ran off rather quick and I forgot to ask you if everything was okay."
PostPosted: Wed Oct 31, 2012 9:14 pm

"Ha," Noah laughed it away but he did feel a bit of a twinge at her mentioning eye candy. Hypocritical? Oh yes, which was why he covered that s**t up fast.

"Well maybe if you're willing you might be able to turn me from my non-dancing ways," He smirked behind the bottle he'd brought to his lips. "I can be very stubborn, though."

When she asked about his work emergency he was zoning out, tracing over the subtle shape lines of her legs and had to be snapped out of his eyeballing. Hey, the fact she was hot was half the reason he hung out with her, he reserved the right to stare a little.

"Oh, that," He rolled his eyes, remembering back to the fiasco and took a long swig. "Sudden health inspection. Not that I have anything to hide, it's just the guy who runs the kitchen tends to panic and imply that we do and that never ends well." He shrugged, "It was fine, someone just needed to talk to the guy without acting like there was a nuclear warhead in the walk-in... even if he was an a*****e. But hey, what you gonna do?"

Phina almost rolled her eyes at the stubborn comment, but she didn't really mind. She liked and a challenge and Noah presented a challenge, more of one than she originally thought. "I think I make you enjoy dancing. I'll show you later," she said with a wink.

She hardly noticed his eyeballing as she was handed her drink which she immediately took a decent sized sip, which was more a gulp, appreciating the sweet tang of alcohol that filled her mouth. She sighed having enjoyed the first before turned to Noah and nodding at him when he spoke about his health inspection.

"Glad to know it was nothing serious. I know how it can be with employees, they seem to need you at the worst moments. I employee mostly fashion savvy teens so I am defusing situations a lot."

Stirring a drink slowing she looked at Noah, a curl falling over her bare shoulders, "So tell me Noah, have you been in destiny city all you life?"
PostPosted: Wed Oct 31, 2012 10:59 pm

"I look forward to it," He laughed. He didn't expect her to rise to the challenge. And if she did, she would fail. Noah was barely coordinated enough to balance drink trays much less look good while trying to dance around. Much less look good while dancing around with a distracting partner in a mini dress.

"Ugh, teenagers. We end up with a few each summer as servers and they're awful. Half of them don't even give notice when they quit, they just stop showing up." Though Noah had trouble keeping servers in general.

Her question provoked a bit of thought, though. "Not really. We moved here when my dad retired, but I was pretty young. I went to school here, and after high school I figured I had enough of being under someone's thumb and bumbled around Southern California for a few years. Learned to surf, got a degree, had a few parties. But then I moved back here to settle in. I have a lot of family in the area."

He took a pretty deep swig and tried to remember to keep the more unpleasant aspects of his story to a very big minimum.

"What about you?"

"You lie," she said laughing lightly. She was trying to insult him, but she doubted that he actually looked forward to it and she was amused he said it. Sipping her drink she frowned her face up slightly at Noahs opinion of teenagers. Yes she did know they were like that, but not all were and Phina was lucky enough to say she usually found great teenagers. Unfortunately most were severly lacking in experience, but Phina was a good boss and worked to make sure they didn't stay that way.

"Oh I don't know about all that. I guess it's all in who you find. My Lysander was a great find and I don't know what I'd do with out the boy. You've got to find those who really want to work for you. I admit though, it is far easier for me."

Another few sips and her drink was done. So she wasn't really sipping, but who was counting. She waved to the bartender for another, fully intent on making the next last a little long.

"Surfing is sexy," she said making sure to get that little bit in before answering Noah.

"I'm a Destiny City resident born and raised, but my parents and I traveled a lot. With my dad's company, he was away alot and he didn't want us separated to much, if he could take us than he did. Not to mention my pageants, I've been in so many all over the country I can't even remember them all."

Her drink was handed to her and she stirred it a couple times, "do you still like to party Noah. You seem like the type, with that great sense of humor and all."

"I swear I'm not. Maybe they think it'll be an easy summer job. I've had a few good ones hang around, but, I mean, the ones we cycle through regularly... ugh," Though if Noah was a little less biased he probably would have admitted the terrible applicants weren't limited to teens, even if there was an influx of the age group in summer.

"I know," He said flippantly to her surfing comment, mostly just teasing than genuinely being rude.

"Ooooh, man, I should've known you were a pageant princess," He laughed. "You definitely seem like you're cut out for it. You've just got that walk, yanno?" He took one last, deep chug and set the empty bottle on the bar. He shrugged at the question. "Not really? I don't dislike it, I just don't have the time to go looking lately. I've got books to balance and of course this crazy place makes it a full time job saying alive."

Phina shrugged, decided that it really wasn't worth arguing about, they were both correct in this instant. Sometimes teenagers were terrific for the business and sometimes you fired them a week later. It happened, but right now, hadn't they been trying to unwind. She doubted talking about work was the best way to do that.

Phina rose an eyebrow at Noah's reply to her comment, but she smiled liking the confidence that only once again reaffirmed her decision to give him her number and to go out with him. She took another sip of her drink and almost spit it out in laughter when Noah said he should have know about the pageant thing.

She winked at him, "Yeah beauty and legs that are heaven sent made it a easy rode," she said before leaning closer so only Noah could hear her, despite the bartender clear attempts to eavesdrop, "as for the walk, it gets so much better. I will have to show you later."

She frowned slightly at the plague of adulthood in the crazy city they call Destiny. "I completely understand that, I swear could go crazy behind some of the stuff that happens in this town, but that being said, you've got to make time. I'd be a ball of stress without a little party every now and then." She winked again, content to allow Noah to take the comment how he please.

Downing the rest of her drink, she stood and grabbed hold of Noah's wrist and giving a tug. "Come I would very much like for you my sexy companion to dance with me. Even if your terrible, I'm sure we can make it work."

Noah was finishing up his third drink and when she teased him, his brow shot up as far as it would physically go, and he tried to keep from absolutely embarrassing himself. He got a better reaction from her when he didn't give one, he wasn't about to let that go by suddenly turning into a babbling idiot.

Noah did follow her like a puppy as she dragged him by his wrist to the dance floor, although he stammered out a few protests about how he sucked at it. No, please don't, really, he's terrible!

It seemed to take a long hour of failing to take her directions to get the point he was a lost cause across, although he did try his very hardest, even when it made him want to go hide. But by the end he had been too drunk to care and at least managed to laugh at his uncoordinated failures.

By the end of the night, he bought her a cab and sent her off while he waited for his own.

And much to his chagrin in the morning, found he had apparently drunk texted her about how much fun she was.

Well, damn.
