Diaix yawned and stretched his back arching as he did so. He had just awoken from a nap; he had spent a large portion of time watching a friend hunt. It wasn’t that he was interested himself in hunting, quite the opposite actually. He found it to be a bit dull but Perseus loved it, and he supposed he could be bothered to watch his friend from time to time. It’s just that he didn’t find it interesting and often times when he didn’t find something interesting he wound up falling asleep. So it was that he often wound up taking a mid afternoon nap while Perseus hunted.
He yawned and looked around; his eyes still slightly sleep dazed as he glanced at the world around him. Perseus was nowhere to be found and neither was Shunsuke, not that the elder brother was ever around. Diaix gave another wide yawn before he pushed himself to his feet. Nothing to do now but go and find the two, he was sure they wouldn’t be terribly hard to find. Just had to follow the smell, right? That was how it worked.
He glanced around himself a few more times before sticking his nose to the ground and sniffing. All he could really smell was earth and grass, dirt, perhaps some birds, and that was about it. He honestly had no idea how Perseus managed it. He shook his head before looking around once more. “Well… I could follow the tracks. That I do know how to do.” He whispered to himself before padding out to pick up on the tracks that belonged to his friend.
The other had apparently been in a rush when he left, because the tracks were wide spread like he had been sprinting. Diaix guessed it was because the prey had taken off and he had given chase. Not that he would know until he caught up with his friend and asked but this was his best educated guess. He shrugged slightly as he walked, prancing along beside the tracks.
