I still have thre more months of highschool! I'm totally falling apart. I could so easily drop out my parents want me to but...yeah...how'd you guys keep focused, i need something to keep me going...

I had the opposite situation....my parents were so on my back about which college, scholarships.... blah, blah, blah...... that I focused on my schoolwork as a means of drowning them out That was not helpful, was it? Sorry. If you want to graduate, you are going to have to tune your parents out and work for it. How?.... Have you got friends you can study with? Anyone that will be supportive if you make the effort to keep going

You should just try your best to complete highschool. Think about it this way... you have been in school for about 14 years of your life. You only have 3 months to go why not just finish it? It would be 14 years wasted of your life if you don't finish. And you won't be able to get a decent job without your highschool diploma. Don't let your friends pressure you into dropping out. If they want to drop out its their choice. You don't always have to do what they do. Most likely in the end they'll be sorry they dropped out and you'll be proud that you completed something. heart

Its only three more months. Im in the same boat. You made it this far (not to sound rude.. but) just suck it up and keep going. You dont want to be stuck with a mcdonalds job. You dont need to follow anyones lead either.
I keep my focus with pure stuborn will power and determination. Give yourself a pep talk. Three months is not that long heart you can do it.

I'm in the same place you are. I've been keeping myself going by counting how many days are left. It might not work for you, but it helps me to say, "Okay, 65 class days left, I can deal with 65."
*shrugs*
And, unless you're in danger of failing and having to repeat the year, it's really pointless to drop out.

Rebel... and stay in...screw what everyone else says, why are your friends dropping and why do your parents want you to? Focus: A center of interest or activity. Close or narrow attention; concentration: A condition in which something can be clearly apprehended or perceived: couldn't get the problem into focus. Focusing isn't hard it staying so that is. I think that ya can do it thru...hell why not get the shine paper and a more complete resume?
