So close to release. And I KNOW there are FEFers who are excited about it. So what's the scoop with everyone on it? Which version are you getting, what are you looking forward to?
Getting Black 2, myself. Got Black and I have have a close friend with White who will be getting White 2. It works out. Gonna have a party of:
-Serperior
-Crobat
-Vaporeon
-Lucario
-Magmortar
-Krookodile
All available by the third gym, good type coverage, and it's a combination of things I've never used before with old and new favorites alike. I'm especially happy about the number of legendaries available. And since I have Sapphire and HeartGold, I've never had a chance at getting a Latios, so I'm quite happy about having access to that now, particularly. Black 2 also features a mode that makes the game more difficult, which will be more useful for grinding than the feature in White 2 that makes the game easier.
That and the ability to fight favorites like Misty and ********. Super thrilled about that.
Oh! And access to certain Pokemon with their Hidden Abilities without having to deal with getting them through the Dream World (read: Vulpix and Poliwhirl - bring on the super influential auto-weather). And new ways to get eggs to hatch faster. And finally getting Genesect; Genesect is crazy good competitively right now.And Tornadus with Regenerator. Okay, gonna stop now or I'll keep listing things.
One thing I'm NOT liking is the look of the new male protagonist, though. HUGE step down from the one they made for Black/White, in my eyes.

I picked up a Keldeo to celebrate the release of BW2. I'm still figuring out which of the two versions to grab.
But yeah, they added a lot of cool features to the new versions. I myself am hoping for a return of the secret bases that gen 3 and 4 had, but that's very unlikely. Also, I'm not too fond of the male protagonist's look, but some sacrifices have to be made for other things. -shrugs-

I think that the B/W2 male protagonist looks interesting. He kind of looks like he just threw some streetclothes on over a diving suit. But he definitely looks derpy. At least the female lead has some sweet hair. xP
I'm not sure what my final team will be, but I'm probably going to end up rocking Snivy again. I love that lil' guy. ;u;
White 2 for me, though. I'll just have to ask David to trade me a Buneary from Black 2, or transfer one over from an old Gen4 game.

I'm indifferent about it. My friend is getting both versions, and he will be able to get them before me so he finally has something over me. He's been back in Pokemon for about a few months now so I have been his helper for so long cause I supplied him Pokemon. Me? I'll be getting White 2 cause I got White. Don't know what my team will be like yet. I'll make it as I go.

Had to look up what the dude looks like. I think he'd be fine if he wasn't wearing a freaking wetsuit under his clothes. That's weird.

Once again, the male protagonist looks like a cross-dressing girl. (sigh) emotion_facepalm
Not that I have anything against it, I just find it bizarre.

Long story... one of my friends said that Black/White's male protagonist looked like the female protagonist if she cross-dressed. I don't quite agree with that, but it could be looked at that way. It just looked like Black2/White2's male protagonist could also look like a girl if you looked at him from the right angle. Actually, just forget that I said anything about that. It was a poorly thought out comment, anyways.

I don't even mind that it looks like he's wearing a scuba suit. I actually quite like that part of his outfit. It's that canopy-tree mess on top of his head that irks me.

I guess it's because I've just stopped holding poke'mon to a standard when it comes to what they do with hairstyles, but I really cannot see his as that bad. I mean, we are talking about poke'mon hairstyles... look around. There's some crazy dos walking around.

That's true, but usually not for the playable characters, which are almost always "normal" by comparison. Which I appreciated, because I'm stuck looking at it the entire time.

According to the manga, he made that himself. It's also supposed to cover up some scar he got as a kid.
