Prompt As a priest you're mainly a passive player in the world of Lior. However, they do have some battle skills. Your quest to become a full fledged priest or priestess involves a little of your healing/holy power and the fighting power you train to hone every day. Sophia has given you the task of traveling to the outskirts of her beloved city and visiting an old burial ground. Strange things have been reported to be happening here; the dead have, supposedly, been reported to be seen rising from the ground. You must go and investigate these claims and bless the graveyard. And fight off any undead you may or may not come upon. Obstacle you must overcome It seems that someone has come to visit the graveyard. Whether they're here out of curiosity about the rumours or visiting a loved one it doesn't matter. What does matter is that the rumours are true and the undead is now pursuing said person. You must now rescue someone as well as fight off the undead and then putting them to rest. Don't forget that you must make note, of the finish of your RP, using OOC brackets, so that I am able to reply via the appropriate NPC.

Deep breaths. Nothing to be afraid of right? And if it is true... Calenth shuddered. The thought of the Undead made her uneasy. As far as she knew it was just rumors, and that's all she hoped they were. She clutched the note in her hand from Sophia. She was to investigate the old burial grounds. Another chill shot down her spine.
Calenth slowly and somewhat shakily to the grounds. Maybe it was just her... but it seemed that a slight fog hung in the air. She looked around. There was an eerie quietness. She heard no birds, or heard no wind. Everything seemed dead. She gulped and continued deeper into the cemetery.
She then froze. The fur on neck started to stand on end. Someone... Or something was present. "H-Hello!? Is anyone there?" As she called out she braced herself to what was about to happen.
[Come at her, Bro.]

The man had come to visit the grave of his long departed wife. He weaved his way through the many tombstones as an eerie fog grew thicker. He had heard the rumors but had dismissed them as such. He was too world weary to believe in such non-sense. He let out a lonely sigh as he finally reached his wife's resting place. As he bent down, to place the flowers he'd brought, he heard a strange noise off to the left of him.
Looking in the direction he straightened up as the dirt around an ancient grave started to rumble. "W-what the hell..." The man mumbled as he made his way over to the commotion. He was close enough to read the faded dates now. As he leaned down to get a closer look something shot up out of the ground, releasing a foul stench. Like that of decaying flesh. The man stumbled backwards and fell on his butt. He looked up at what had caused him to fall and gulped in a big breath of air. His eyes met with empty sockets and decaying flesh. As he let the breath out, a blood curdling scream ripped through the air as the man struggled to get off the ground and run.

Her calls received an answer. A scream that made her jump and turn in the direction where it came from. She took a deeper breath and darted toward the source of the scream. When she arrived at the scene her heart dropped into her gut. The rumors were true then! Calenth put herself between it and... and the zombie. "Stay behind me! I will protect you. If you are hurt I will heal you when we are safe."
She tried to keep her calm, she was still shaky. She closed her eyes and said a quick prayer to the Goddess Aminia. Once she opened her eyes she felt slightly better. She aimed her focus at the thing in front of her. "Holy Arrow!" Once she uttered the words for the spell a stream formed and shot at the monster. Using her spells made her feel a little less stronger, but it was normal.
[Wasn't sure about what Holy Arrow looked like but I winged it XD]

The man's eyes widened as another creature jumped in front of him and began talking. Another scream almost tore through his throat at the two strange creatures until he realized the new comer was a Kyresue. "Y-yes.." He mumbled as he rose up to his hands and knees and ventured a look around the green Kyresue.
The sight he saw made him gulp. The thing was still coming, even after having been warned. Did the zombie really not have any cognitive thought? The man's eyes widened as the Kyresue shouted a spell and light formed, in front of her, in the shape of an arrow and shot forward. The light arrow hit it's target and made the zombie stagger backwards slightly. A small whimper escaped the man's mouth as the zombie continued forward. It seemed that the one hit had not been enough.
((No worries! I hadn't really thought about what it'd look like...so this will help!))

Calenth took a small step back. Hng... Come Calenth! You can do this! She glanced back at the man behind her. Her dark green eyes were filled with many emotions. Fear, Courage, Concern... just to name a few. "I promise. We will make it out of here."
She game him a smile and turned back to the disgusting thing in front of her. Perhaps a different spell would disperse of this... thing. "White Lance!" Once again the light appeared and took form. It almost looked the previous spell, but it became much larger. It took the form of a lance. Calenth hand drifted to where the light formed the hilt and lunged at the monster, plunging it into the Zombie.
[Again, winging it on the spells XD a little note too: With White lance... I don't think it become tangible, but the Priest/ess could do that to direct and maybe add a little more force into the spell? Just givin my ideas encase you want to use my ideas for them officially XD]

The man watched in awe as the female Kyresue seemed to throw a lance, made completely of light, at the zombie. As the lance pierced the beast's abdomen a pained expression flitted across it's face and with a groan the look was gone. As he continued to watch, the light from the Kyresue's spell slowly dissipated, like it was being absorbed by the zombie's body. As this happened, the zombie went limp and fell to the ground.
As the Kyresue went to investigate the lifeless body the man stayed where he was. He surveyed the area and about fainted when he looked in the opposite direction of his wife's grave. "U-uhm...ma'am. I...uh...don't t-think you're d-done." He stuttered out as he scampered back over to the female, pointing in the direction of the group of undead now approaching them. It was all the man could take. He fainted on the spot.

Before the man mentioned that she was not done, the a hard scent hit her nose. The air was polluted with the scent of death. She looked behind her to see that the man had fainted at the sight before her. A hoard of zombies started to approach. Luckily for her they were not very fast. She knew she couldn't survive taking them on individually, she also knew that she had to end this, now.
She had to cast a special spell, one that attacked multiple targets. It would take a lot out of her so she had to do this right. She braced her self, she focused on the group. "Burning Hail!" As soon as she uttered the words a burst of light erupted from her. It shot into the air above the zombies and formed a cloud. Calenth felt her energy draining. From the cloud came balls of light, the slammed into the monsters. Dispelling the evil that made them active.
The last one fell. Calenth was drained and panting. She looked at the man, who was still fainted. She would deal with him in a bit. She needed to purify the burial grounds. She closed her eyes and spoke clear and calm. "Goddess Aminia, may your holy light shine upon this land. Dispel the evil that has come to this sacred land. May the souls who where lost find peace in their after life." As she finished her prayer she felt much better. She knew the Goddess had heard.
Calenth now turned her attention to the man. She use the last of of magic to heal the man. She helped him up and made she he was leaning on her. "You are safe. I shall escort you home." She gave him a warm smile. She kept her promise to him and completed her task.

The man groggily woke from his faint. The scent that has assailed his nose before he'd fallen to the ground was now much fainter. He momentarily felt warm, like a healing light was flowing through his body. His eyes fluttered open and standing over him, looking very worn out, was the Kyresue who had fought the previous two undead. The man sat up and looked around, relieved to not see the hoard that had been approaching them.
"Thank you." He let out a sigh of relief as he rose from the ground and bowed his thanks. He led the way back to his house. Once there, he bid the Kyresue to wait and quickly made his way inside. No sooner than a minute and he was back out, his hands clasped in front of him. "As thanks." He said, bowing yet again and holding his hands out. "For thanks and good luck." He opened his clasped hands and sitting in the palms was a small, jade charm in the shape of a turtle. "Please. Take it." His smile was genuine.
((Don't forget to return to Sophia.))

She looked lovingly at the little turtle. "Thank you. I will keep it close." She smiled and bowed back at the man. Something told her that she would not be forgotten. She tucked the little turtle away, she didn't want to loose it. The was a light spring to her step as she made her way back to the city.
She found Sophia yet again. She bowed at her. "I have returned. The burial grounds are safe and purified. The was a man there who was under, but luckily I was there to protect him." She smiled at Sophia. She was very proud of herself. Not many could say that had fought zombies and lived. She held onto the little charm, she wanted to maybe make a bracelet or necklace so it was always with her.

"Ah, Calenth." Sohpia's voice was gentle as she took in the state of her subordinate. "I am glad that you are okay." She smiled. "It was good that you were able to help the man."
"You've done an excellent job, young one." Sophia held her hand past her, gesturing for Calenth to move into another room. "I'm proud to say that you can be officially called a preistess. After we take care of all that ruddy paper work first, of course." A small giggle escaped her lips as she moved into her office to officially make Calenth part of her holy circle.
((Nothing is REQUIRED after this post. However, if you want to continue this RP or start another one with Sophia you're more than welcome to. Just let me know in the main thread.))
