Judge: Beniyasha

Beniyasha stands as a statue in the center of the stadium as the two Chunin hopefuls step forward. It was the Second Match for these competitors, hopefully they would battle it out admirably. Once on the line there would be a pause, and then he would raise his hand and throw it toward the ground to signify the fight was on.

After one, if not the most intense match of his life so far with the ninth angel, the Asura had gone into the back and used the time that everyone had before matches to get as much rest as he could. The Asura was lucky to find a bed, where although a power nap would have been nice, he took the advantage of sitting on it after slightly limping his way there. While his blade was in the corner of the room, Jet’s posture was slouched over; his elbows resting on his knees with his arms between his legs. So much sweat was dripping from his body and forehead that he could have twisted his clothing and make a few measuring cups of sweat.

He had chosen to be alone at the time and told the messenger or whoever it was that let them know that their next match was ready that he’ll be out there. So the only noise that was heard around him was the sound of his heavy breathing that was as loud as it could be. If someone were to see him they could immediately see the exhaustion on his face, which unlike his feelings he didn’t’ bother trying to hide. Although he had put on an appearance that showed no signs of doubt and giving up, it would be a lie to say there wasn’t a minute amount in Jet that thought that he wasn’t going to make it in that match as it progressed.

But in the end he was the one that would advance to his last match of these exams, before one would be crowned as a chuunin. His opponent would have been waiting for a minute or so right now. But he didn’t have to wait any longer.

“One more…” The man from the Volcano arose from his temporary rest and began to make his exit out of the room and towards the Arena, where his opponent awaited. A slight limp could be seen in his steps from when he would get his blade with his left hand, and as he began walking out towards the entrance to the Arena. He didn’t know his opponent long, so it was a match that would probably not have the same emotion and passion behind it as an Anakin/obi wan fight. But they were friends and eventually the two would fight, whether it would be for training or under more extreme circumstances. In addition, their friendship could only become stronger after this fight, whether the Asura won or lost. At the same time, Jet didn’t have his sights on second place. When he made his presence he could hear the cheers that were coming from a lot of the people out there watching; much more than when he first started and certainly after his last match. With small signs of exhaustion even after his rest, A grin formed on the face of the Asura.

“Sorry to keep you waiting, but they had to take care of the best for last right?”

Very little was exchanged between the two Genin ninjas. Aside from the nod from Adell in agreement that this match was the one that everyone wanted to see if they knew that Adell and Jet had history together. The few things that would have made this match more epic to witness would be if jet’s chakra pool maxed out to where Adell was, and if both of them had the same techniques. From there the victor would be determined on pure skill and strategy. But there were just some things that had to be saved for much later down the road. “Ready.” Jet announced, switching his blade in his left hand in a reverse sword clutch, moving his left leg back so that his goose bump flowing through his lower body was near linear.

The battle started off much less intense than Momo’s fight, which was a big weight lifted off of Jet’s shoulders. “ The double vision technique from the fire village was initiated by Adell. It would certainly make things more difficult for the Asura when it came to his sense of sight, but it could be overcome. “Oh jeez…” The shuriken thrown at Jet was a good example; three real ones were aimed at different areas but the Asura would see six instead. The original and impulsive reaction would be to retaliate with one of his Hidden Volcano techniques, but Jet didn't want to destroy the majority of the arena just yet. So Jet began to deflect the ninja stars one by one; his weapon having more than enough girth to disrupt their trajectory.

“An illusion…”Jet’s inner voice told him as he noticed that 3 of the stars were false during his jedi-like deflection. That alone told him that one of the Adell’s coming towards him like a left tackle football player during a blitz. The power behind Adell’s attack would have been enough to put Jet on the ground but Adell would get a taste of that medicine first before Jet would. The Asura went back into his stance and summoned one Harmonic spider (cost:1000.This technique creates a trio of clones of the user. These are actual solid-mass clones, able to take a hit and throw a punch. They cannot use any form of Ninjutsu or Genjutsu, but they do have one special ability. Almost like rubber, they seem immune to blunt-force damage. What makes this an especially prized ability, the kinetic force from any blow they suffer is instead transferred to anyone they are touching.
(In other words, a weird version of a rubber clone. If they could grab onto an enemy, you could smack the clone around, and the full force of the blow would pass through to the captive. They don't possess any other rubber-like abilities, no stretching or anything like that. Just the kinetic redistribution.) to the right of him, spawned in the same position.

The chance of Jet hitting the real Adell was 50/50, but two things were for sure and that was the clone would certainly do it, since it wasn’t affected by the double vision technique. So while the Asura would most likely swing his reverse blade in a horizontal arc towards the fake Adell’s face and miss, the spider would have him dead on, matching him with a tackle of its own. And due to the effects of the spider, Adell would have that same power behind his tackle, transferred back into himself. It would be like running into a car heading straight for him or her almost, where the spider would be immune to blunt damage such as that tackle. “Wanting to get physical so early? I’ll enjoy this.”

Adell had found out the hard way that Jet’s spider were more than simple clones summoned. The NFL tackle had sent Adell rolling on the ground a bit violently, making Kazama question Adell’s physical capacity. After all they both had to fight multiple opponents to get here and just because Jet was showing pain on the outside, didn’t mean that Adell wasn’t showing any as well. But Jet knew that Adell wasn’t finished yet; he didn’t even bother demanding him to rise. The Asura stood wating for his friend to continue and Adell did so on his own accord, with an explosive shuriken to respond to the Spider.

The Spider would take off towards him, jump over the explosive tag with all limbs extended, and land into a roll before raising up once more to keep his momentum. With the tag out of the way of the clone, Jet was now the target however. The Asura dashed off towards the right side of the Arena near the wall in order to avoid being caught in the radius of the explosion. He did so successfully, but the blast from the wall had caused him to stumble slightly as a result. It was better than turning into twelve pieces and delivered in a pink box. Plus that slight window that Jet was stumbled gave Adell time to unleash five clones to get a piece of the Asura once more but with weapons this time. To make sure that they didn't get the jump on him, he backed himself into the wall of the Arena so that he could see them and they wouldn't take his back.

With the genjutsu still intact, 10 were showing plus Adell which made it 12. He definitely had to do something to remedy this double vision effect. Jet had a feeling that the majority of them were illusions, but that also meant that half of their attacks were real. The Spider backed off and watched as Jet's eyes begin to glow that familiar color once more, before shooting off quick multiple projectiles the size of human eyes towards clones(Optic Onslaught Cost: 1000.Jet has the ability to generate and unleash a massive amount of concussive white heat energy from his eyes; using either his own heat in his body or ambient energy. The height and width are equivalent to the size of his eyes. Temperature of the heat is equivalent to magma and can be released as beams, a projectile or as a stream at 100 ft. However it can increase by 1000 degrees and 50 feet for every 20,000 points).. Each shot was a one-hit kill towards the clones, while the ones that were illusions, his projectiles would strike multiple regions of the arena walls, causing small debris to fall.

He had took out all but Adell and his illusion at this time, which was remedied by Jet firing two more shots(one projectile coming from one eye) towards both Adell and the one Jet was seeing as a result of double vision. But then he realized that him aim was slightly off on the real Adell, whifffing the real one while the illusion was obvious. As a result he didn't have enough time to block but move his back off of the wall to avoid the first strike. The second attack however had more power behind it then Jet thought.

Jet had a time frame to block with Noura, shifting the reverse blade vertically so his knee could connect to the width part of Noura. But as soon as it connected, Jet stumbled back a few feet and landed on his butt. Like Adell, Jet took his time to rise; only he performed a kip-up, activating his Optic Blasts in the process once more to shoot two projectiles again towards Adell. At a pretty close range, he hoped that Adell would block the attack, resulting in a knock back from the concussive force and a portion of his axe melting. Right afterwards, he gave a non-verbal signal for the Spider to be on the move once more to Adell's blind spont while Jet rushed in and came at his friend with a reverse blade diagonal slash towards the l.pectoral region of Adell, followed by an upward diagonal slash towards Adell's l.bicep region. His sword combo ended with a downward slice towards Adell's mid-section from Jet changing the way he held his blade; reverting back to a regular way to hold a sword.

Chakra 28,300

A smile formed on Kazama after his attacks ended up missing body parts of Adell. The smokescreen was a clever trick that otherwise would have put Adell in a difficult situation. Being from Hidden mist, fighting in such conditions could have been easy for Terumi; the Asura had never been to Hidden mist to see for himself. Kazama had a few tricks that he could have used in this mist but his mind told him otherwise. The first thought that came to Kazama’s mind was to get out of the smokescreen and rethink. But the rethinking part came quicker than expected when he had enough sight to see not two, but three of him. All he could do was scoff with a laugh coming from his exhale. “Imitation is often the highest form of flattery.” he thought.

So now there were 3 Kazama’s, and given the conditions to which Adell transformed, the real Jet was confused as to who was the real deal, along with the Spider. The real Kazama could have just summoned another clone instantly, so he had no problem using a technique that would put both of them in danger. As soon as the Spider saw that the smokescreen was gone there were 3, it was also unsure as well. Did Jet summon another spider while Adel was somewhere outside of the smokescreen? “It’s him, attack!” Jet cried, but the clone was still unsure, especially since Adell wasn’t showing any sign of attack. Only after Adell’s sudden axe attack did the Spider get a good hint that perhaps the one attacking him wouldn’t have been its summoner. Not to mention Jet had a slight limp from his last match so the way Adell ran would have been slightly different from Jet’s giving out another hint that it wasn’t the Asura. The Spider had a window to dodge and wasn’t thinking about the latter choice like Jet,The clone pivoting 90 degrees to its left, shortly behind the slash to where it barely grazed the clone.

Now that the clone was quickly facing Adell’s naked left side it didn’t give a big frame of opportunity for Adell to retract after his axe slash. The clone would have delivered a mean muay-thai style right shin kick only to the back of Adell’s shin that would have made the warrior lose balance and slightly drop, followed by a mean roundhouse towards Adell’s middle back with the same leg the second it was dropped back to the ground; ending the combo with a 360 spinning back kick towards the side of Adell’s face. The first two shots would have stung hard while the last attack had enough force to put Adell towards the ground once more. Meanwhile the Asura watched from the same position that he was in, trying to further break down Adell from his point of view.

"He look so much like his father..."

From the beginning of the Chuunin exams she had also graced everyone who participated with her entrance. However she did so in secrecy, to where she couldn't possibly be spotted; certainly not by the one she had an eye on. Her peers describe it as being everywhere at once but it was far from the actual talent. That, would be given to her when she reached the end of her goal. As for her presence here, If it wasn't for his impatience and his love for a challenge, then perhaps she wouldn't even have been here.

Since watching the last portion of the Chuunin exams she was impressed by Kazama's will to fight on; being positioned at the top of the audience section to see who will prevail. It wasn't a surprise that he was on the bottom class when it came to chakra level, but he should have been eliminated long ago. So for him to reach the finals against someone who was capped out, told her that perhaps the tattoo had something to do with this rather than his racial traits. No, his body didn't mature to that level just yet otherwise he would have been in better shape. Or maybe it was just pure will, determination to reach what he came here to acquire. She had been sent to watch him, a rather boring task that she decided to take, just in case their hypothesis were correct. But that didn't mean she could still have fun with him...

But that would be after this fight if she did so.

The rage that temporarily overcame the Spider ended up costing it its existence in the Arena. Adell looked like he guessed right away that Jet had a special type of clone in his arsenal and had to step it up; well answering with his axe did the trick. They had seemed to throw their weapons at the same time. The axe had left a deep enough cut for itself to disappear in a puff of smoke moments later, while the kunai would end up slicing a portion of Adell’s abdomen. From there, Jet had seemed to put on the perfect pressure for Adell to back out of his transformation form. The greatest ninja’s true form had been revealed once again to the audience and to Kazama; just in time for Adell’s serious ticket to the hospital when suddenly a move, very similar to Kazama’s was performed by Adell.

”Lava Armor!?”

The name was off but the Magma armor technique was restricted to the Suzaku clan! There was no way that he could pull that off, let alone get someone to teach it to him in the time that he was there. The only explanation had to have been that he had developed a similar technique to Kazama’s Lava Armor. Jet watched as a layer of Mother Nature surrounded all of Terumi, before it reached a temperature that turned the rock into molten Lava. “…Copycat.” The grin afterwards revealed no seriousness in his tone. Jet was impressed actually, and wanted to see if it could stand up to his Magma Armor. It would be an awesome display of the element of Katon from the two.

As Adell was preparing to go on the offense even more and build up momentum, he would be occupied with the sudden explosion suprise that would have gone off on him from underneath his feet(Explosion Transport: 600 The user places his hands on the ground and flows his chakra to a certain spot in the ground and sets it off like a bomb. it wil be a much weaker bomb though due to the ground dulling the blast). The explosion radius would have been half of the radius (10 feet) of the Burning rock shower technique, having enough explosiveness to be similar to tripping a land mine. Debri would certainly fly up in that Radius, nicking at Adell’s Lava armor and temporarily hindering his sight while the explosion would do the most damage from the lower body; since it was from underground of course.

In that time frame, Jet quickly motioned the Lava Clone to move out the way as he gathered Ambient energy and ejected it in the form of 2 continuous beams from both eyes(Optic Onslaught Cost: 1000.Jet has the ability to generate and unleash a massive amount of concussive white heat energy from his eyes; using either his own heat in his body or ambient energy. If they connected, then they would not only push and attempt to hold Adell back like two football players on opposite teams (from the concussive force) but try to eat away at the hot earth that covered him and try to remove the Lava Armor piece by piece. Furthermore, the temperature of Jet’s blast was hotter than normal Lava, so if it did manage to get close to his skin, Adell would be in trouble.
