It's the Spring of 2012. It has been a somewhat peaceful season for mutants. Erik Lehnsherr has gone missing, and Charles Xavier's activism has been holding it's ground and succeeding so far. His school has been flourishing. A place for young mutants to lead a normal life without any discrimination for simply being different. The old X-men are just teachers now, and the new students are now learning to lead the new generation.
Which means you can roleplay a student still at the school, an 18+ mutant that lives at the institute, one of the teachers, one of the Brotherhood, a human, whatever. (Obviously we do need a balance between students/others and x-men, so not everyone can be an x-man)
As far as the brotherhood goes, there's obviously no students and no age minimum for their group, so just make a character.
Spring break is nearly over at the school, and students are starting to come back for the last stretch of the semester.
I may expand this to be not inclusively x-men, meaning not just marvel or dc either. but I haven't decided that yet, as in I'm unsure if I'll open it up to OC characters(which will still have to be approved)
