History:Clea was born the daughter of Prince Orini, legitimate heir to the rule of the Dark Dimension, and Umar, sister to the then-current ruler Dormammu. However, Umar was disgusted by her affair with Orini, abandoning Clea to be raised by him, and Prince Orini kept secret any knowledge of her true origins.
Having spent years under the tutelage of Dr.Strange, Clea pursued a short lived relationship with her mentor, ending in tragedy when the Undying Multi-Angled One, Shuma Gorath, threatened Earth once again. Having learned many of Shuma's tricks and traps, Dr.Strange gave himself to the universe, taking the cosmic warlock with him into the empty abyss.
Clea returned to the Dark Dimension, where she found her uncle, the Dread Dormammu, taken the throne once again. Raging a civil war with the few pockets of resistance, Clea was crowned Empress for a number of years. However, with Earth and it's universe without a protector, Clea renounced the throne and returned to her former lover's world, shutting herself away with the library within Sanctum Sanctorum. Years went by and her knowledge of the mystic arts increased. Feeling the responsibility of protecting her old home, Clea announced her return as the Sorceress Supreme.
