Wicka could have danced a jig on his desk. He never thought he would have passed that test, Let alone get a 98%. Charms came to him about as well as an abused horse would come to a big and burly guy. With a quick glance back at the page, Wicka was almost surprised to see that he wasn't hallucinating.

He once again contemplated the idea of dancing on his desk. Quickly glancing at the boy next to him he caught the grade on his paper and snickered. The boy next to him wasn't as lucky. The Ravenclaw had gotten a 66%. So much for Ravenclaw's being so smart their brains exploded.... That thought made his eyes widen. Maybe that's what happened. He grinned. He was smarter then a Ravenclaw.

His eyes found the charms professor still passing out pages. With a devilish glint in his eye he pushed back his chair and climbed up on the desk. With a glance around he started shaking his fists and wiggling his rump. "Go Me... Go Me... Its meh birthday..." The class laughed. Some students started clapping. His dark green eyes found the professor just in time to see a detention note being written. Hey... one night in detention was so worth it.

He presented his back to the professor before once again starting to dance. He could even handle a weeks worth of detention. However presenting his back to the professor probably wasn't the smartest thing he could have done. He felt the tug on his ear before he even heard the professor.

He was dragged from the desk and forced into his seat. He needed to learn how to manipulate a person by their ear... It would help so much. He heard the charms professor reprimand him, something about detention for a week, and then ask if there were any questions about the recent quiz. He sighed staring out at the rain as it hit the windows. It was definitely worth it though. He stood up as the class was excused.

As much as Sky would've liked to brag that she wasn't nervous about getting her test score back, there was a twinge of butterflies in her stomach as the professor walked around and plopped their test grades face down on their desks. There was one question she was unsure of while she was talking the test and managed to rework it several ways before being convinced of one. Ah... Well, my answer matched up with my roommates, Sky remembered, not really being reassured very much. Her roommate was known to make a few errors here and there--perhaps she should be concerned that they ended up with the same answer?

Her thoughts were interrupted by the professor approaching her desk and placing a scroll on her desk. She calmly and slowly reached towards the scroll, picking it up between her fingers, and uncurled it with her other hand. As more and more words became available, she saw a score at the top and a grin appeared on her face. I was right then, Sky mused, looking at her full marks with pride. Another victory for--

Wooow.

Sky's brows furrowed together as she looked at the Slytherin boy with disgust. "Now that's the picture of eloquence," she muttered under her breath, crossing her arms. How immature--I wonder what score he recieved? Perhaps an 80% is considered "his birthday"? Sky thought to herself, rolling her eyes with a scoff. Boys AND Slytherins these days!

After the boy was done making a fool of himself--finally dragged off the desk--the Professor finished off the hour with some extraneous notes and then excused the class. As Sky stood and began gathering her things, she noticed that some displaced air caused her test scroll to slip off the table and land right at the feet of the Slytherin dancer earlier. "Excuse me," Sky began curtly, wanting to limit her interactions with this neanderthal, "Could you please pass me my test?"

Wicka had packed everything up as he was going to head to lunch. All but his test of course. He was gonna wear that thing like a badge of honor. He was just pulling on his bag when he heard a voice. He didn't think they were talking to him until he glanced at his feet and saw parchment.

Wicka glanced at the girl who spoke to him and frowned. He then bent to pick up the test. Un-rolling it enough to see her grade he frowned harder. Stupid Ravenclaw ability to know everything. His eyes caught her answer to question number 2. He glanced up and laughed. Turning to pick up his own scroll he compared the two. "Looks like your perfect score isn't so perfect...."

He held up her test and his. Answer 2 was the one he got wrong. And it appeared her page and his were the same... well generally. The wording was a bit different, but the concept was the same. "Either that or you and i got the only perfects..." He smirked.

His green eyes scanned the room. "Should we ask the professor if i get two points or you lose them?"

Sky frowned at what the boy said and walked over to where he was, snatching her test out of his hands as well as his and she compared them, one hand in each. Her eyes quickly scanned from side to side, doubtful that the professor would make a mistake but still weary of what the boy was saying. Hmmm... Ah, she thought, only a split second after she began to read. "Right there," She pointed to her test and then jabbed her finger on his test, "You crush, not cut." And with that, she put down his test on his table and walked back to her own, her test firm in hand and she stuck it in her bookbag so she could use it as review later.

"You could still try heckling the professor for more points if you think you deserve it," Sky said haughtily, as she threw her bookbag over her shoulder and walked out of the room, peeved that the boy not only glanced at her score but even had the galls to tell her she was going to lose points. Arrogant snob, she snarled to herself, stepping down the stairs.

Wicka frowned and took his page back. How did he get the potions question wrong, he was excellent in potions. He sighed. The class was extra credit of course. This class was an addition and could make it so he did actually pass charms."Whatever you say..." He looked at the question to see she was indeed right. He must have simply not spent enough time on the potions questions.

That upset him slightly, but this was a girl and a second year if he read her paper right. He couldn't just start throwing punches... damn. And then the idea popped into his head. He glanced at her face and then pulled a shocked face as he glanced at one of her ears... "Im so sorry...i shouldn't have said anything... not with you in such poor condition." He pulled on his most serious face. "Please let me help you with your bags and stuff." He reached out thoughtfully.Frowning carefully he posed the question. "Have you been to the doctor lately? Or do you just go to the medicine wing all the time?"

He gave her his most curious glance. "Does it hurt awfully much?"

Why is he still talking to me? Sky wondered in frustration, not pausing in her stride. "I'm not in poor condition and I surely don't need you to carry my bags," Sky retorted, ignoring his comment about her health. She was regular in both muggle and wizard medical check ups--there was no way she caught something, especially since she was helping out Doctor Belov in her free time every since that stupid Linwood broke her arm in Flight Training. "My health is none of your concern, Slytherin, and I have no idea what honest reason you'd have for caring about it anyway."

With that, she stopped walking to look at the first year boy. "So what do you really want? To get back at me for having a better score than you? Surely, that's quite petty." Sky placed her hands on her hips and gave the boy a scrutinizing look. "Well? And I'm not going to believe any of your 'I'm just concerned' appeals so just spit it out--why are you still bothering me?"

He smirked. "You really are smart... even for a ravenclaw." He shrugged. "Guess petty is my middle name." He kept up with her carefully He assumed she would be heading to lunch as well. "I was seeing if you were as gullible as some other girls in your house... I convinced them their brains would soon be leaking from their ears." He looked at her with his green eyes.

"So no...i am not concerned about your health... just... "He shrugged again. "Messin with ya... Its what i do best." Shoving his hands in his pockets he glanced at the large windows in the halls. He liked the rain. It made him calm down when he was too hyper and it cheered him to watch all the little drops pool at the bottom. Something about capillary actions in the water.

"So um...yeah"
He shrugged. He didn't know what to do about girls... One thing he stood by, was you couldn't fight with them... If she was a guy he probably would have called her some nasty name and picked a fight. He never through the first punch...

Thought so, Sky thought to herself as the Slytherin boy stopped his act. "Well, I've proven that I'm not as gullible as the rest of the girls in my houses--" She wasn't one to believe that what he said was true but there was some doubt, considering that some of the Ravenclaw girls were rather naive. "Are we done? Or wait, I know," Sky smirked and rolled her eyes as she began in a nasily, high pitched voice, "Oh, no, the big bad slytherin tricked me! Boo hoo hoo! I'm off to go cry in my tower~" Sky brought her hands up to her face as if to wipe away tears and then put them back down to her side, "Does that suffice? Or do you want some more theatrics to go along?"

She figured that he wanted some sort of satisfaction of beating her and that was perhaps the best attempt she could give. After she was done, Sky started walking back towards the main hall, whether or not that Slytherin boy continued to follow her or not.

Wicka stared at her for half a second and then laughed. He hadn't laughed for real in a while. "Ok, you win..." his eyes flared slightly but he still wanted to figure out a way to get to her. Some way he had to make himself better then her.

As he followed her he ran his hand along the wall and windowsills. His hand went through a couple puddles and he frowned flicking his hand carelessly, water sprayed out in a small arc a few water droplets flying directly toward the girl.

PostPosted: Fri Sep 28, 2012 8:43 pm

Sky was just about to leave the boy when she felt water droplets splash on her. Her mouth dropped for a second and she just stared at the boy "Wooooow." She closed her mouth, rolled her eyes, and shook her head in awe, before inconspicuously took out her wand "Aguamenti!" She casted quietly underneath her breath and a jet stream of water came rushing from the tip of her wand towards Wicka's face. Though the charm was rather advanced, especially for a second year, Sky practiced it over the summer in order to water her plants. Though students weren't allowed to do magic outside of Hogwarts in front of Muggles, there was an obvious exception for her family (or at least her parents). She wasn't so sure about Feng but he mostly avoided her these days.

"Hah!" She exclaimed with a laugh, letting the charm fade out and the water trickle to mere droplets from her wand. "You're going to have to try harder than that!" Great, my competitive side is getting the better of me again, Sky thought to herself but just went with the flow none the less. Like heck was she going to let a first year beat her!

Wicka stared at her a moment and then it hit him... like a flood of water. Oh wait... that's exactly what happened. He was drenched. Hair straight and dripping and his clothes clinging to his frame. Swearing he tried very hard to glare. He ended up laughing... giant barrel laughs.

He couldn't remember when he had laughed so hard. "Hey...I didn't aim for you... i was just getting the little water droplets of my hand. " He tried to repress the laughing. "Ok...I will think of something." His eyes noted one of the doors to the grounds were open.

"Ok...you win for now..."
He stretched..."but im hungry" He started walking again... slowly so she could easily catch up but not too slow to appear obvious. once she got close enough... she would go out side into the downpour... willing or not...
PostPosted: Fri Oct 12, 2012 8:52 pm

"Of course you didn't aim for me," Sky rolled her eyes, throwing her hands on her hips. With that, she placed her wand back in her pocket and slung her back more comfortably over her shoulder. She didn't pause much when the Slytherin boy started to laugh like a crazy, she just rolled her eyes in impatience and continued walking. After his declaration he wanted food, he sped up in front of her.

I'm glad that nuisance lost his interest, Sky thought, finding herself in no rush to catch up with him. Why would she even want to talk to an idiot like that? He was arrogant and not to mention cheesy and immature. It.... also didn't help that she came out victorious. Of course I'm not quitting while I'm ahead... but he admitted his loss. It's mine now, Sky thought, keeping a grin off her face as she walked leisurely down the hall. The further she was from him, the less chance she had to talk to the dolt--thus, Sky made no attempt to close the distance between them.

It's raining pretty hard... Sky observed, glancing outside from one of the windows.

Wicka now understood why his father picked on his mother for taking so long to get ready... girls could be slower then snails... With a frown he noticed he had reached the door... and she wasn't close enough. With a quick hidden smirk he swung his bag from his back and dug in it furiously.

While he was just buying time he couldn't help being a bit proud of himself... he would simply push her out the door and shut it...He contemplated that for a moment before twitching his eyes to see if she was still walking. as far as he could tell she was... then again he had just looked out the corner of his eye. He spoke quietly and frowned "where did i put it..."

He was listening for the click of her marry-janes on the floor to get close enough. He had to time it right... just a little closer...

Sky paused for a second. Was it her, or was this boy acting suspiciously? "If you're thinking you left anything in the classroom, nothing was on your desk when we left," Sky addressed him with a frown as she walked closer. "And you would've seen whatever it is when you decided to peek at my test if it were on the floor," a few steps closer. And then she stopped and sighed, several feet away from where the Slytherin boy was. "Ugh. Let's go back, c'mon. Professor Fairfront has a class after the passing period so it's now or never." She wasn't sure why she was being nice to such a stupid boy--perhaps she felt... just a wee bit bad for drenching him with water? She might've been the reason why he forgot something in the first place too... God, he still shouldn't have been so blasted annoying though!--oh well... I'm on my break period anyway...

With that, she turned around and started head back to the Potion's classroom. "What are we looking for, anyway?" She called over her shoulder as she headed back towards the classroom. "You really should keep better track of your things," she commented, her shoes clicking down the hall.

Wicka frowned. She was walking away. "I found it!" He pulled out his potions homework. "Sorry i just had to make sure i had it... Thanks though." Wicka stood and casually leaned against the wall waiting for her. "Your right though... i probably should keep tract of my things better... Like this one time i completely misplaces my history book right before a big test... and come to find out it was the one i used to prop up my bed." He laughed.

School and wicka generally rubbed the wrong way. SO the fact that this test had been good enough to be almost the best... made him not care that his clothes still clung to his boyish frame.

He was still standing by the opening and the rain was still pouring down.
