To put it lightly, after three whole days of the Fright Night festival, even though Amityville itself as a building was not affected, its grounds were absolutely a disaster.
Disaster, as in the type that would make many a respective Reaper or Demon turn their heads and run screaming the other way. Disaster as in, even the gnomes had turned up their buckets and hats for favour of greener pastures.
Disaster as in the students were solely responsible for cleaning up the mess.
Considering that half the booths had not even been taken down, there was still a sign on the front gate of Amityville that said FRIGHT NIGHT WELCOMES YOU, various half-eaten tarts, spooky food delights, remains of pumpkin seeds, and every piece of fabric and tent canvas possible was strewn all over the ground, the general estimate of how long it would take to clean everything up was something like two years.
If students were lucky, they might even graduate before their two years of service were done. But for now, with the promise of gaining a percentage of the silver pumpkin seed profit given to the school for their own clubs and activities, there was a greater task ahead, even greater than Fright Night, greater than the time that the Other Bathroom had clogged up and flooded the first floor.
They had to clean up Fright Night.
OOC CLEANING UP FRIGHT NIGHT- This will also serve as a TRANSITION phase to help bridge part 1 and 2 together: there WILL be a chance to win prizes leading up after this transition phase but for this part, there will be no prizes, just a small storyline tie-in. - Once this cleaning RP is concluded students can leave to go do as they please! - At this point guest students have gone home. Only ENROLLED students remain. - Yes, you may RP more than one of your student characters for this! - ALL STUDENTS CLEANING UP: Roll a 100-sided dice and match your dice roll to the results below. You can roll up to three times and then you are free to ICly exit the thread/ do as you please. (OPTIONAL) - If you do NOT leave the thread ICly it means your student will be staying for the next GM post involving a small IC tie-in/ small event that most importantly introduces a special status effect between part 1 and 2 of Fright Night, and helps icly explain and foreshadow the second part! 1 - 20: You manage to find a Fright Night token... wrapper sad Aww... In fact it doesn't help that you find a whole pile of them - who would leave a whole bunch of wrappers just everywhere? 21 - 40: As you put your garbage into the garbage bin, it tries to eat you up whole. It takes you a while for you to separate from it. 41 - 60: For a second you think you hear something coming from one of the abandoned booths - a noise, a whisper perhaps? It seems to call you by your full name, but the voice is entirely unfamiliar 61 - 80: You see various foot prints on the ground, which isn't highly unusual at all. Its more that the footprints seem to disappear from times before reappearing again: or maybe several reapers just went crazy with mass Shadow Walking 81 - 100: As you clean, you notice that it seems to be getting lighter, as in literally everything is lighter around you. It seems almost foggy....

There was no doubt that Fright Night had been incredibly fun, but like all big events, there was always a necessity for a massive clean up once the excitement was over.
...Well, "massive" in this case may have even been an understatement. How did things even get this messy? Had someone just decided to go around, taking bites out of tarts and baked goods before flinging them to the ground for someone to clean up?
Who did those kinds of things!? Because Xiu would like to have a talk with them about wasting food!
It was with a pained grimace that Xiu pulled on gloves and picked these half-eaten things up, making sure to gather up a few before tossing them into the garbage bin. She was on the third run when, while in the process of throwing the destroyed baked goods into the garbage, the blasted thing decided to try eating her instead. With a lot of wriggling, shouting, and a punch to the inside of the garbage bin, Xiu finally managed to free herself.
She did not look pleased.

Cleaning. She hated cleaning. At least that was what ran through her mind as she stared at the piles of trash. It was odd, she really didn't notice how much of a mess everything was until most of the people were gone and the booths were shut down.
"Well...it was fun while it lasted." She murmured to herself, kicking a few wrappers away with her bare foot. As she knelt down to pick up the pieces she kicked, she realized the ground looked...a little different. Very different, in fact. Lighter, somehow?
Her lips pressed into a thin line as she looked around, rapidly blinking her eyes.
...An illusion, maybe? She was a little tired...

Oh he should have expected this. Really? After all that has happened? He really should have expected this! It was all fun and games until you had to clean it up! Really! This sucked! He enjoyed running a booth and playing at the other booths. However, he despised cleaning up after them! It was at times like this, that he envied the guests. Those lucky bastards didn't have to lift a finger. Damn!
His mental grumbling continued on, as he he swept up some shredded papers that the canine minis had managed to get a hold of; dumping them into a bin nearby. He only stopped what he was doing, when he heard someone calling him from one of the booths nearby.
The... ghost mini? There had been one randomly appearing near the K9 booth.
.....
Nah! It was a minipet! And minis couldn't talk so that was---wait how did--whoever it was--how did they know his full name? No one knew his full name except for those back home! He never used it here! And that was certainly NOT someone from his pack!
"S-stalker..?" The black shuddered and continued on with his cleaning. Though he kept a wary eye out for this 'stalker.'

It seemed like everybody had been making a mess. Then again, the festivities had been such that it was kind of not a surprise, actually...
Even as she walked around picking up trash, Shehk found herself frowning at well..almost everything, actually. She'd been rather on edge after she'd worked out some really strange energy with some of the Horsemen and after that had almost vanished into an abyss with a Red TCG Card shoved down her shirt. If one checked, it was still there, actually.
Never the less, she found herself picking up a lot of token rappers, making a small face at them. Man, why were these piled up all together like this, anyways? Kind of annoying. Did someone just sit there going to town with them?

Damien came, he saw, got dunked and now... he wanted to do nothing more than dig a crater and bury all the trash.
It really did look like some kind of giant big festival like cornstock, or at least the aftermath of cornstock. crumpled and disheveled paper and litter as far as the hounds green eyes could see. All he had to combat against the piles of shunned paper was a staff with a skewer at the end of it and a bag to collect it all with.
celebrating was fun, but the cleanup left the pup with nothing but a heavy sigh as he slumped his shoulders and got down to work. "Ugh, isn't this magical." he said plainly as he began stabbing at the ground for todays set of cleaning problems.
He was mindlessly going along with the menial task, waving hello at the fellow students that he didn't get to see since it started, everyone had a booth they had to man, it was hard to find one another at times. But the hellhound did grin at Xiu, and wagged a tail at Shehk and Tybalt as they crossed paths and managed to not sniff each others butt.
Most of the time, he spent it in quiet solitude, the faster he got it done, he figured the sooner he could get back to being social with the the others. the booths were in all states of disassembly, some more progressed than others. While he did pride in his hellhound core being good at standard things like sight and hearing, it felt like a strange sensation went down his spine, the soft undulation of his name carried on the crisp autumn wind.
Not to mention that the hound couldn't place the strange voice that possibly uttered his name, the pup whirled around just to see if it was Roch playing some kind of trick on him but stared at the half torn down booth where it came from.
The fitness booth that had been formerly standing tall, was now left in shambles, but the dunk tank remained.
it was watching. judging.
THE DUNK TANK WAS CALLING FOR HIM. it wanted to feast upon his flesh in its watery depths. nope. nope. nope. nope. nope. nope.
he was totally done cleaning this area for now, Damien was already hightailing it to another area and looking for a different task to do.

(1st roll Ace, 2nd roll Bul)
Ace doesn't clean up after anyone but himself. The empty booster pack wrappers around his desk? Not his problem! Nope. The greed demon yawned, kicked a few papers around, then waddled his way around to find another cool demon to hang with. Surely they would have something more interesting to do than stay here and clean. A voice of reason-no literally, a voice-called him over to a booth though. "Thank Jack I was just trying to find a-"
And there was nobody there. How did he get sidetracked by a booth that was clearly completely undressed. Embarrassed that he just talked to nobody, the greed demon played it off as talking to himself casually. His tail whipped nervously hoping that nobody watched him meander like an idiot.
--
Bul had been dry and dressed for some time now, having done his time at the fitness booth. As much as this cleaning thing sucked, he respected the campus enough to pick a couple things up. Plus some of the residue from guests and students shoes, chewed gum, etc would make some great new additions to his snotball.
'Bul Itches-'
"Hmmn?" Bul looked up really fast. Only, he caught the back of Mei's head. Nothing strange about that, maybe she said it purposefully chillingly to get him to come over? Sure that made perfect sense! The half beast jogged over and snuck up on the ghoul. "Meeeeeeeeeei-"

Figured that when all the fun and games were over, they were the ones left cleaning up. Loosing a sigh, Mei bent over to grab a few of the papers closest to her, before shoving them into the bag she carried. It was a shame that she never got to take part in the festivities as well. Thanks to her's and Amrita's minipets rampaging through their booth, it was impossible to take their eyes off the critters for even a second. Go figure they decide to settle after the festivities are done and over with. Oh well, it couldn't be helped.
Pausing in her actions, the doll blinked, hearing a voice speak her full name in a quiet whisper. When looking to see who it was, she found no one. Weird..Maybe she was hearing things..?
"Meeeeeeeeeei-"
Not expecting her boilfriend to be right behind her, the bag in hand, was now tossed several feet into the air, as the doll jumped. "B-Bul!" She swore to Jack, she was going to die of fright!

The festival was over. Now it was time for the hard part.
Clean up. Ugh. Weren't there gnomes that needed jobs out there that could do this? No. Well Jack dammit. Mei was tired and really just....wanted to go back to her room. She had taken down her booth.
As she began to help clean up, she found a token. Actually she found a whole pile of token....wrappers. Sigh.

Aymet was forced to assume part of the lengthy time estimates for cleanup had to be attributed to garbage cans like the one he was half-sticking out of. Sure, they were efficient with the garbage, but perhaps a little too efficient.

Shun was just planning on getting food to bring back to the room, but one way or another, he instead got wrangled into helping with the cleanup process after the festival. Needless to say, he wasn't entirely thrilled about this. Especially since the place was a complete mess now after the three nights. Then again, he shouldn't be too surprised about that part really.
Letting out a breath, he went ahead and picked up some bits of trash and made his way over towards the garbage bin. Unfortunately for him, the can wanted to eat more than what he gave and latched right onto him. Cursing lowly, he began to bat at it while trying to pry himself out of the mouth of the bin. After a little while, he was free. Shaking his head, he moved on.

Mort was very Do Not Want about the cleaning. It involved waaaay too much effort, and with his mother retired to go get his room emptied and ordered for the incoming crap, he was left to play janitor on his own.
It really didn't help that this fog was coming out of nowhere. Not that mist was uncommon in the land of Halloween, but it hard terribad timing. Mort made a few frustrated noises as he tried to wave it away things were growing lighter despite his efforts. "Mrrrr . . . " The more he shuffled forward, the more he could pick out a few figures in the growing mist, one in particular being closeby. "Hey, you think is prank going on?" he asked Amrita as he carefully shuffled closer. Who knew what laid in the mist.

Kicking things around counted as cleaning right? Because Belladonna was really good at kicking things right now. Good enough that she managed to actually move a few pieces of scrap fabric around in such a manner. Her back ached enough that she was sure if she bent over to pick something up she'd fall and have to be dragged back to her dorm room. Finding someone to drag her would be awfully difficult, so it was just better to not even bother with the whole thing. Idly nudging things with the rounded toe of her shoe would do just as well. So concentrated on the task, the witch didn't even notice the footprints she was trampling all over until they stopped. Untouched dirt stared back at her and for whatever reason this was highly fascinating. For a long time Belladonna stared at the little patch of smooth ground before she looked a yard forward and saw more footprints.
Still, she only pursed her lips and continued to kick at the fabric. Footprints, smhootprints.

Aymet was not happy to see that some invisible jerks were running around instead of help clean up. Not happy, mainly because he wasn't one of those invisible jerks. Invisibility was such a cool superpower. Maybe these invisible jerks could aspire to better pranks than leaving footprints.

Just keep cleaning. It was probably nothing. Nothing at all!
The black dog obeyed his mental command, sweeping up another mess near his section of the booth. Though just as he was about to turn around to clear some trampled pumpkins, he noted the foot prints on the ground. Which, normally wouldn't have interested him at all. However, when they randomly vanished from sight and suddenly reappeared? Now that had his attention!
Shocked, he dropped the broom entirely, allowing it to land on the ground with a clatter, while he gawked at the footprints.
"I...Invisible stalker!?"
