It was over. The wonderful yet draining chaos that was Fright night was finally over. His booth was a bit of a mess, melting snow making things a bit soggy, and he still had a box of snowglobes that he had no idea to do what with. Really, what was he going to do with snowglobes? Well, aside from use them as possible fodder for when he needed to chase off some gnomes. Still, Snowcones were east enough to get rid off, though he still had some left, swag was somewhat gone-
But alas, most of Frost’s energy was leaving him. The Festival had been lively and demanding and now that it was over, the aftermath of all his activities was catching up to him. Sitting behind his closed booth, the wolfos held up the bag of fortune tokens and lazily tossed them into the box of left over swag. To many things to do. Couldn’t he just… break his booth and leave it to the gnomes? No, he set it up, he had to take it down. Reluctantly, he pulled at the decorations, suit looking far more worn down than it should have been.

It was over. Everyone was in various stages of packing up, their booths shuttered and closed to those few people still taking their time in exiting the fairgrounds. What had once been a bustling hive of activity only hours ago was now still and quiet--for the most part.
Taima had nearly shed a tear when the ghoul running the coffee booth had cut her off at the end of the night. Taima had been the best of customers all day, discreetly stopping by the booth at frequent intervals, dropping a seed on the booth and taking a different cup of coffee each time. After she had tried them all, she started choosing flavors at random. Once she was able to identify them by sight, she picked them with her eyes closed. By the time she was able to differentiate between them by smell alone, she just said to hell with it and grabbed the first cup she could find. She had stopped keeping track of how many cups she'd had over the course of the day; needless to say, it was a lot.
Taima hadn't strayed far from the coffee booth at any point during the day, the allure of caffeine far stronger than that of games and prizes and whatnot, but now that the coffee was gone, she found herself curious about all of the other booths she'd missed out seeing. She didn't really care that they were closed, she just wanted to know what had been there. That was how Taima came to be flitting from booth to booth like the hummingbird she most certainly wasn't. Her wings vibrated with enough excess energy to lift her off the ground and keep her there as she darted around the fairground. She giggled maniacally as she bumped into things unintentionally, her lack of coordination the byproduct of too much coffee.
When she spotted the fluffy tail and the boil it was attached to trying to pack up its booth, she made a beeline for it. "Hiiiiiiiii~," Taima chirped as she shot towards the boil, flying a quick circle around him before coming to a stop in front of him, still hovering. She smiled at him with caffeinated cheer, her eyes unnaturally wide. "Hi what are you doing can I help what's this booth for can I play a game hi are you closed why are you closed it's still so early is Fright Night over already hi do you have any coffee?"

In being a canine, frost often smelled things before he saw them depending on the wind. He missed Tiama’s face as she flew by him the first time, but he could smell the coffee. A pungent odor like that was hard to miss, (said the one who enjoyed to roll in mint leaves). “Hello.” The ghoul was floating, though- No. His eyes widened as he took note that her wings were simply moving so fast she gave the appearance of floating. Not a ghost then. Something much.. different. She had color to her, solid, but her eyes- they looked like someone had altered them to look like they might steal his very soul.
Frost had never been in the gaze of a hyper caffeinated person before. It was unnerving.
He was just going to guess she was some kind of hyper active monster. Who probably just ate a few coffee beans or something. Monsters did like to eat after all. Attempting to sort her questions from her hellos, Frost answered in a much slower manned. “I am packing up, you could help if you like but I can manage and… you can play the snow run game but it’s mostly slush at this point and the fortune game is self explanatory. No tokens to give out, however I do have snow globes.” He pulled one up, offering it to her. “But...I am afraid Miss that fright night is over. All booths are to be closed. And… I might?” He quickly looked under the booth where he’d been keeping his things. “I never managed to finish the cup of peppermint Gene gave me. Coffee is a rather strong flavor for me.”

Frost's answers seemed to be spoken in slow motion--in fact, the world seemed to be moving in slow motion--and it made his voice sound funny. Taima giggled helplessly at him as he explained what he was doing. She was too unnaturally happy to feel any kind of disappointment when he told her that the snow game had melted, especially when he offered up the snowglobe. It took her a few tries, but she finally managed to take it from Frost's hand. She was so jittery that she didn't even have to shake it in order to get the plastic flakes to swirl around. "Oooooooh," she said, the entirety of her attention switching from Frost and whatever he was doing to watching the lazy swirl of each individual snowflake in the span of a single, rapid heartbeat.
Until he mentioned the possibility of more coffee, anyway. Taima would have perked up at that, but her uncharacteristic perkiness was already through the roof. She settled for fluttering close enough to invade Frost's personal space. "Peppermint I like peppermint don't waste coffee I'll finish it I love coffee!"

Frost thought the world was moving far too fast really, the events catching up to him better than he would have liked. Tiama’s giggled earned a look, but he just guessed that she was coming down from an excited high. The festival could do that to people. Maybe she ate too much candy and was burning- oh. Coffee. The scent lingered, and he suddenly regret the offer to give her what was left over.
Still, seeing the snow globes shake from her vibrating was amusing, he’d admit that much. She seemed to like it in any event.
Personal space invaded Frost pressed back, challenging her to touch him and break first. He was not about to back down from something that direct. “It is cold and the flavor has sunk to the bottom.” He had the cup in hand. “But first, have you been drinking a lot off coffee tonight? Sure you might not prefer some tea? It’s much better, and more relaxing.” Part of why he wasn’t going to go for much. He’d end up more tired.

Personal what now? Taima practically draped herself over Frost as she reached for the cup, not hesitating at all as he mentioned that it was cold and probably gross. Whatever, it was coffee; she drank it more for the rush than the taste anyway. "No well yes maybe a few cups okay maybe a lot of cups but that's okay I'm totally okay I don't know anything about tea is it good I don't need to relax I'm totally relaxed!" She was totally not relaxed. The amount of coffee she had consumed would have exploded the heart of a lesser monster. Frost may even have been able to feel tiny tremors where they touched as her body tried to hold itself together.

Ghouls that seemed to drape over him was kind of becoming a thing now. A confusing thing at that. It was happening far to often and with ghouls he hardly knew. It wasn't a bad thing just slightly.. odd. "I... see." She was clearly not of sound mind and by giving her the drink he might have just made it worse. A pity. "Perhaps tea would be good for you. Non caffeinated." He might have- Ah yes. One of the last snowcones, he slathered it in the rainbow of flavors, holding it out.
Hopefully, she's not drop it.
Sadly, it was loaded with sugar.
Frost didn't think that far.
"Eat this, I'll make some tea. Or just... sit down?" Please? Maybe?

"Yay thank you~," Taima trilled. Mmm, peppermint flavored sludge. It wasn't Taima's favorite, judging by the face she made while drinking it, but if it kept the rush going, she'd be willing to endure it--and Frost had warned her, and had even been nice enough to give it to her! She didn't hesitate to put it aside once Frost offered her a snowcone, though. "Oooo snowglobes and coffee and snowcones and tea aren't you just the best puppy ever who's the bestest puppy yes you are," she cooed. Her hand might have made a slight detour to rub between his ears before she took the snowcone, although it might also have been a lack of coordination.
Taima made a concentrated effort to sit down. She tried to get her wings to stop buzzing like a cracked-out hummingbird's, even stretching her toes towards the ground to try and make contact, but that didn't seem to work either. Not to be deterred, she shrugged and merely sat Indian-style in midair. She hummed happily as she licked at her snowcone, sticking close to Frost so she could watch as he made some tea.
