Ru'yah was enjoying herself. Like usual, she was being lazy and sleeping away the day. In fact she had quite the spot to rest, she considered it a major accomplishment to have managed to find this resting spot. Although, to everyone else it was just another shadow of just another tree; to the black lioness it was a "new" resting spot that had greatly improved quality of the last one. "This is great." She purred. Ah, so relaxing. She could just stay here forever. Or at least until the moon came out. She purred some more and started rolling around in her shady location.

As per usual, Ni-tobun had been following his paws onward and onward across the rouge lands; the lands he had grown up in his own life, yet still had yet to see it all. He was so focused on finding himself and just living day by day, taking things as they came while his mind continuously twisted and molded itself. He had been making great progress within himself, yet he still had some distance to go. The afternoon sun beat down upon his spine and the top of his rump, giving the slightest glare to his vision. However, a bi-colored lion, whose gender he could not determine because of the sun's glare, however the figure was that of a lion or perhaps a large leopard, caught the attention of the corner of his eye. It lazily rolled around on it's back like some happy-go-lucky creature, something he was somewhat jealous of in others.

What can they be so happy and relaxed about? he rumbled to himself within his mind, finding his paws halting for the first time since he woke up in the morning as he cocked his head at the lion for a moderately long moment.

What? I thought I repiled to this... Sorry for the wait then... sweatdrop

A lion was looking at her? Or at least she thought it was a lion. Then again, it's hard to tell when your head is upsidedown. "Good morning!" She half-called half-yawned to the stranger. See, Ru'yah was always one to greet strangers by reciting what she thought was the time of the day. Right now, she felt it was morning. Though, she could have very well been wrong. Oh well~. It couldn't be changed now she already went and said good morning. If it wasn't then it wasn't, simple as that. She yawned again ever-so-lazily. Ah, she hoped it was morning. Otherwise she skipped out on lunch again, and appearently that wasn't healthy.

He merely blinked at the stranger when she offered her greeting to him, but he offered a "Good morning" back to her, as well. Was it even the morning? He thought it was at least nearly the afternoon. Oh well. As she continued to roll herself around, he noticed more of her figure and determined that she was a lion, as well. She could have been a cheetah or a leopard for all he cared, but there was a slight feeling of ease knowing that this female was of the same species as him. For some reason her happiness was making him slightly irritated, but he pushed such feelings aside within moments.

"What are you doing over there?" he called over to her curiously, still refusing to take any steps towards the female.

Ru'yah stopped rolling for a second, then rolled back over on her stomach. "I was being la~zy." She said after a while. Although Ru'yah liked to roll around in the grass carelessly, she unfortunally got bored very easy. So whenever strangers bothered to talk to her, she tried to make it as entertaining as possible. Well, as entertain as possible without moving five feet ahead of her. "What are you doing mister?" She placed her head on her paws. It was her other lazy pose besides rolling around on her back.

What an odd young lioness this one was. The way she spoke and in the manner she was made her seem to be a bit air-headed. He repressed his eyes from rolling, but instead he let out a large, long sigh out through his nostrils. He stared blankly at her for several moments, although over time he did blink at her a few times. And not that he was a shallow lion or particularly cared about the aesthetics of those in his company, but this female wasn't particularly attractive to his eyes. Oh well, he got himself into this conversation! He could have kept on walking, but instead he had called out to her.

"Was? Or still are?" he asked her curtly, although his voice was not in an aggressive tone. He blinked at her several more times as she fixed her position into a new one, still relaxing as he watched her. "I'm not doing anything, I was just walking," he answered her, flicking his tail back and forth.

"Ah." She said calmly. Walking. What Ru'yah would have to do shortly. But, she'd deal with that when it came around. For now, she'd enjoy her little chit-chat. "Are you all alone mister? It probabley isn't fun travelling alone." Like she was to talk, she'd been travelling alone all her life. Even as a cub, her siblings often ran off on their own leaving Ru'yah behind. She hadn't had any travelling compainons before, but it sounded delightful. Maybe she'd go and find one later...

At least the female was able to comprehend that he was out on his own, doing his own schedule and walking around. At least she seemed to calm down a little bit from her dim-seeming, hyped morale. Maybe his plan-sharing triggered something in her mind to make her think of something else in her life or something like that along those lines. Oh well. Right now he was still stuck talking to her, for now. And he would be formal enough, he supposed...

"Yes, I've been walking all by myself. I'm a lone rouge, so that's all my life seems to consist of right now. Eventually I might find a pride, but who knows," he spoke "regularly" back to her, answering her question. He looked her dead in her eyes, trying his best to have some sort of manners. If it intimidated her, he would simply look away. He was just trying his best for now! "No, it's not really fun, miss, but it's my lifestyle. I don't necissarily need to have 'fun' in my life, especially not everyday or something like that."

He slowly and briefly lowered himself onto his haunches, swishing his tail back and fourth out from behind his rump. If she was going to play the question game a little bit, then he might as well, too.

"And you? Are you having fun just laying here by yourself?" he snorted slightly, his inner darkness trying to have some rude fun with this lioness yet his inner light side trying to remain civil.

Oh, don't worry about it~ I'm sorry you might have to wait a while for my responces... I kind of... Got sick... Again.

"It's not really fun, but it isn't boring either." She said truthfully. Like most personal subjects, Ru'yah just told the truth. Or blurted out the first thing to pop into her mind. As if she had no reason to lie about it, or simply lacked the ablility to do such a thing. She knew she didn't lack the ablility to lie, she lied for her "friends" all the time.

More like, small animals she had no enthusasum to chase. Sometimes they'd tell her little secrets that Ru'yah would promise to keep hidden. Most of the time she forgot what they told her anyways. As she simply enjoyed the company of another living creature and the fact that it had bothered to talk to her.

Did that make her a very lonely being? Perhapes, but for now she'd focus on this new lion that she was chatting with. So she stared at him with her lazy eyes, awaiting another possible question.

"Oh. Okay then. That doesn't sound too horribly terrible then," he said pretty flatly to her, although a hum of agreement was floating in his words. His inner darkness and light was still at a confrontation with each other, not sure about whether to blow her off completely or indulge in a brief yet friendly conversation with the lioness. He guessed this lioness could be viewed at a source of amusement...somehow.

He decided to stare blankly at her for several long lasting moments, still deciding between ending the conversation and continuing on with his life or taking a brief pause to breathe and unwind, work on some of his socializing skills while he was at it, why not! Perhaps he could lend her a simple offer that could technically provide both of his clashing sides with a bit of closure, a bit of a compromise.

"It might be a bit more amusing for you to take a stroll. You look like you've been laying down for quite a while, and it might do your legs some good to actually use them. It's what they were made for anyway, weren't they?" he asked her kindly enough, rising back onto his extended haunches and whisking his tail around back and forth from out behind him. Perhaps they could finish their conversation on the road, and that way he could still be carrying on with his life a little bit and still entertain both of his conflicting sides in a way.

CaliWolfe
Oh no!!! I hope you feel much better soon! ;___; <3

"Indeed." Ru'yah allowed her tail to sway across the ground before she heaved herself up off her bed of grass, (which had an imprint of where she had been laying) her lazy eyes never changing in expression as she did. Though somewhere inside she was thankful to be moving and chattering with another person, that pleasure wasn't reconzied until she had actually managed to stand. Though it wasn't that hard, Ru'yah wasn't a particularly heavy lioness. Not a toothpick either, but she was certainlly not fat. If anything she'd be considered slightly plump.

Ru'yah wasn't one to over eat either. She often skipped out on meals completely, only hunting a potential meal when it was rquired to avoid complete starvation or if it was a benefit for someone else. And at that she merely took whatever was left over of the meal, for Ru'yah strangely had no desire to eat.

It really was odd, but perhapes it was her lazy attuitude towards mostly everything that allowed her to go whole days without so much as a drinking a single drop of water...

He could tell that this lioness was quite laid back and lazy, but when she actually stood up, he was quite shocked to see that she had actually created an imprint in the grass that resembled her whole body, paws and tail included. Never before had he seen such a lazy individual in his life, however, with making a close examination on her body with his eyes, she wasn't made of too much fat. She wasn't in top shape, nor was she the most muscular or pudgy, but she certainly didn't have too many muscles built up under her skin. Yet she stood up easily enough, her tail swishing happily as she accepted his invitation.

"Is laying about how you spend most of your days?" he asked her somewhat bluntly, not trying to be offensive, yet flabbergasted by her behavior. Sure, lions as a species did tend to need plenty of rest and sleep throughout the day, but this appeared to be a little bit...excessive?

"Most of the time." Ru'yah yawned before shaking out whatever dirt clung to her fur. She didn't find Ni-tobun's comment offensive in the slightest. Due to her personalty she saw it merely as another plain question of mild curiousity. Her reponse to his question seemed bland as well; and so she decided to make a brief elabortation. "Other times I help the people I meet." She stretched her front legs, which tempted her to lay back down, but instead she resisted and walked foward towards the stranger in front of her.

"Help" wasn't the perfect word to describe the situations Ru'yah often wandered into. Saying she was someones personal caretaker for the day was a more appropirate term. The lazy, green-legged freak didn't seem to care though. Or rather, she didn't notice she was being taken advantage of every stranger she happened across. Either way, the fact that she helped random characters who appeared out of the blue didn't faze her in the slightest possible way...
