He couldn't even remember what it felt like to have a break. He gave a snort feeling so tired from training for the past week and a half. He just felt like he needed a good rest and thankfully his father was annoying him today with training so he took it as a day where he could have off. It made him feel a little relieved at least. When he managed to walked out of the forest, he crossed the open plains very slowly taking in the noises around him. He felt like a robot sometimes. He was trained to be as battle-hardened as he could be. His father even told him that he wasn't like other normal Soq and that he was special. He believed it because he didn't feel much or even care for the well-being of others unless they were family. He hadn't had much interaction with other Soq when he was a foal, but now as an adult he could do what he wanted.
Since he was the only child to train with such ferocity, he had acquired a skull that usually got passed down in the family. His was a wolves skull and this reflected his character perfectly. He was vicious and judgmental of everything. He would attack without warning and didn't really care about others. He didn't like to wear it outside of training because it moved around too much on his head. He was afraid it would fall off and break. Maybe one day there was going to be a chance for him to wear it. He wasn't like the other members of his family who wore it all the time. The mask annoyed him.
Turning his head, he eyed around through his bangs wondering if there was somewhere he could rest. He didn't know how to go about being normal in society. What even was normal? He couldn't even answer himself nor did he want to. Instead he just gave a disgruntled grunt before walking on.

Training seemed to be all that Oksana had anymore to relate to her old herd. Having ventured out on her own, for reasons that were... rather personal, she came to realize that this grand world didn't function or hardly work like what she was prepared for back at home. Sure there were a few slimy characters who were out for horse blood, but... there weren't many. She walked the lands aimlessly, almost, searching for something... she didn't even know. What was there to do out here? Everyone already seemed to have their lives in order, thus she wasn't really a necessity, especially in her field of expertise. She'd come across mostly just foals, and they certainly already had their own family's to fight for them. Family... smirking to herself, she scoffed. What a thing...
Currently, she was grazing casually on some berries she'd found on a bush passing by, nestled in a heart of a forest. The place was peaceful... nice, but still had the mare bored. She'd done her usual practices for the day; taken a long run, climbed and hopped the mountainsides, even battled a mountain lion up there! But it was short lived, as the thing could hardly keep up with her speed and agility. Ah the life of being a lithe little cerynei. Others always mistook you for something weak and frail, when in reality, they were quite a force to reckon with.
Emerald eyes peered about as her mouth chomped on a few berries, mashing them with strong molars. Scanning the place, she observed some squirrels that were running around courting one another. Snorting again, she rose a brow. They should be busy harvesting for the winter... not messing around.

Feeling the chilling breeze sweep by, Zachariah lifted his head up a little bit at the odd feeling of another individual nearby. This didn't phase him due to his size and all that training he got from his father, not many could actually give him a good fight. His only issue was his agility. Since he was so big, he was a little on the slower side unlike his father who had perfect pretty much everything about himself. He wasn't slow despite his size and it was something Zach really wanted to achieve some day. He walked on feeling more and more uneasy that someone else was out there until he stumbled upon exactly what was making him uneasy. His eyes quickly scanned the mare taking in her familiar structure as a smirk crept up on his muzzle. "Oskana?" He called out to her as he walked closer feeling a little bit better that he probably wouldn't have to fight anything today. "I bet your busy today or am I wrong?" He shifted lightly. "Oh in case you don't recognize me...I'm Zachariah. I'm...eh..kind of all big and grown now." He nodded looking at her through his bangs.
He didn't know if this was going to be a good meeting or not. He only remembered her from when he was a foal, but other then that it was nothing. "I"m not training today so it's such a needed day off for me." He said to her wondering if it was a good thing or a bad thing that he was off training for today. He felt he needed it, but then again he could always use some more training. He was beginning to get more and more use to that kind of lifestyle. "By the way...you seem very very bored. Is there anything I can do to help?" He decided to go out on a limb and ask since he didn't have anything in mind himself at the moment.

She'd just taken another n** at the berry bush, tearing off an entire half of a branch in the process, munching on all of it with ease. In the tundra, there was no place for complaining over food options. It was already difficult to come by, and was often tough, and unsavory. But it kept you alive, and that's all that mattered. Though... she was appreciative of more appealing flavors now. Such as these berries.
Small fluffy ears perked from her thick hair, eyes darting over straight away as the sound of hoofsteps reached her sensitive radars, nostrils flaring as a scent wafted her way. In an instant, the stallion was spotted, but she didn't tense, nor show any hostility. In fact, she hardly reacted to his presence. Her eyes scanned him slowly, taking in his appearance, and filing it away. Oh yes... she recalled that cologne... She never forgot a smell. This male had been just a foal when she'd came across him the first time. So he was all grown up now.. huh. There was a general lack of interest or disinterest on her features, again... just not too effected by him. Finishing her mouthful of veggies and fruits, she took a moment to gather the information he'd just bestowed, before finally speaking, "Yes, remember you. Little colt, you were." she stated casually. "Big now. Like old mountain warrior." stepping around the bush, she strolled on over to him, standing right in front to look up at his face... lips shifting in an intrigued sort of motion.. nodding along. "Yes.. yes.." she muttered, before walking around him, inspecting his built form. It was acceptable. She approved. "Been working, can see." she commented idly, giving a light n** at his haunches to test the muscle there, but not enough to hurt, rounding back to face him.
Her head shook, "No, not busy." and a faint grin formed, "Bored, yes. This place too peaceful. Is nothing for me to do." she explained, with a rather disgruntled expression now, frowning around at the... easy-going surroundings. She snorted to show further her disapproval. "Is too calm.' His offer, however, brought upon a raised brow from the little mare, looking up at him, but not saying anything. But seemingly out of no where, she chuckled, and walked off a ways from him, shaking her head in amusement, "You are wanting to entertain me, malʹchik?"

Watching the mare, he knew she was taking in his features and was definitely eying his muscle mass, which didn't bother him at all. He knew it was a big change since he was only some small weakling colt and now he was older showing signs of intense training over a period of time. Though he couldn't express to her how much training he had been through in the recent months let alone the past couple days. His father was brutal when it came to training and he expected nothing less of his prize son. It was only a matter of time before the training stopped and he couldn't wait for that time. Though it only meant he would have to do training on his own just to keep himself in shape. That was going to be the hard part.
"Busy is an understatement. I think I have had enough training to last me a lifetime. My father isn't exactly...a slacker when it comes to training." He snorted at the thought of all the exercises he had done so far. All the harsh training and the injuries he had received. it was brutal. "Entertain you? How did you want to be entertained? I'm not really good when it comes to anything 'fun' so I might need help understanding this." It was true. He didn't really play or good around. He never did that either when he was a colt. It was something his father didn't want in his personality because then it meant...he would slack during training. So in the long run he suffered and didn't understand or know how to have fun. It was all alien to him. "I think I have a little time before my dad ends up calling me back for training." Even though it was a day off, it didn't mean his father would end up calling him back to train. It happened all the time.

A single emerald eye not skewed by her thick bangs stared up at the stallion, expression neutral as he spoke. A snort escaped her again, and a surprisingly melodic chuckle followed, "Enough training..." she repeated with great amusement, head shaking lightly. "no, no, no.." she chided softly, "Is never done training." she corrected him, with a firm nod, "You not know everything, so is more to learn. To perfect!" there was passion in her voice, but it was not aggressive, nor loud. Controlled and direct, more so.
Stepping around a little, gauging the area they were in, she circled the stallion once more before returning before him, looking up again once her hair shifted out of her eyeline, "One so big as you have physical strength.. but are stealthy?" she asked, eyes narrowing critically, as if inspecting him for the correct answer before he even said it. Usually males of his size could hardly maneuver about without alarming an entire forest! or could even zig zag like a rabbit!
