Rainy Greetings Park:- shoved into the city - - eyes it warily - This place seems rather dreary. What could you possibly-Hello?
Semira: -It's pouring, drenching her to the bone. Her sister was nowhere to be found, though, it always seemed she vanished lately. Semira wasn't able to handle it, her invisible vectors attacking every solid thing she could reach. A car folded in half, street poles chopped and thrown across the street. Fury swirled in her stomach as she broke each object, considering going after a house as her anger blinded reason. She was mid lifting a car with her vectors when she heard a voice, head snapping around to find the culprit, a feral snarl escaping her lips-
Park: - Park peered curiously around the narrow road. It branched off into several narrow alleys and other roads, but they seemed almost deserted. Curiously enough, after observing the area, she could see see cars, street poles and other every day objects bent and broken. What on earth could have possibly-? Her head whipped around as a car lifted up and another time at a snarl. Standing fairly close to her was a blue, seemingly young noodle with multiple piercings and long white-ish hair, but the look in her eyes was far from young. She looked angry, so angry, and Park shuddered, but decided she was already caught in the crossfire anyhow and squard her shoulders. - Hello? My name is Dr. Park, or Patricia. May I ask what happened here?
Semira: -As the figure spoke again her eyes locked on the woman, narrowing viciously. Who the hell was this? The pierced girl tensed, vectors shifting, the only sign they were there for the other woman was the car that was bent and tossed to the side. A threat, she viewed Dr.Park as. /Doctor/. She knew that term too well. That mere term sent shivers down her spine, anger exploding within her stomach as she directed her invisible vectors at Dr.Park, mere seconds from attacking- Doctor. -Had the scientists found them? Not them, her. So far Marise was safe. Right? No. She couldn't find Marise, that wasn't safe. Another street lamp broke, another sign thrown. She didn't know how to respond to the woman, instead choosing to advance, eyes ferally flashing-
Park: - Dr. Park couldn't be sure, but she was positive the look on the girl's face was far from friendly. In fact, she looked as if she were about to attack. And for some reason her mere name seemed to upset her. - Er, yes, doctor. I'm a scientist, you see, well, I used to be one~ - She let loose a hesistant chuckle at that, but the moment didn't feel very humorous. She jumped as another street lamp crumpled, and sign thrown. Could it be possible that /the girl/ was the one who was behind all of this. She took a hesitant step back, reminding herself no being would feel unintimidated by this girl and her strange ability. - Easy there, tiger. - she cracked a smile, still uneasy - I'm not gonna do anything to you.
Semira: Used... to be? -She didn't speak much, it showed my how her voice cracked from it's rare usage. The woman stepped backwards and she advanced, fingers twitching. A sign was lifted from the ground, lifted and held above her head, a promised threat if the other so much as moved closer. Her ears flicked backwards. Doctors always did things. This doctor was lying.- Why. -Her voice cut off, weary from the use. She forced it onwards, voice cracking and shaking- Why are you alone?
Park: Yes, yes! - She might have sounds just a teeny bit frantic, but hoped she didn't notice. The girl didn't seem to like doctors very much. - I quit my practice after a-uh incident at the lab. It didn't sound very appealing any longer. - Maybe if she kept talking the girl would be distracted enough for her to run. A sign hovered just above the girl's head, promising that if she did anything funny, she'd be the target of her rage next. Maybe she'd just stay here and try to talk it out. Yes. Talking. Especially since she looked pretty disbelieving. Her voice sounded some worn she almost felt bad for her. Then she looked at the sign. She'd help her if she wasn't in immediate danger-
Semira: -Her ears raised. This sounded almost exactly like when she ripped the lab apart. Was she one of her doctors? The sign shivered, wings tensing- How long... -Words. She wasn't used to making sentences, dammit!- How long does used to be mean?
Park: - Still she didn't seem to believe her. What sort of mistreatment could she have met at their hands? Surely no doctor or scientist would misuse their knowledge in such way, right? But she could grimly remember quite the oppsite . . . She thought back to when the last time she had been in that lab had been. It felt like so long ago, but it must only have been - A year, maybe two? I really haven't been keeping track. It seems like a very long time, though, since the accident.
Semira: -That was too long. They had escaped a few months ago. She seemed to relax her hold on the sign, her vector sending it flying across the street. Semira took a step backwards, snarling under her breath before jerking her head to the side- You are not one of them. -She could be, but she doubted it. Either way, the girl wasn't as hostile as before, though she was still equally dangerous. She stared at Dr.Park before jerking past her-
Park: - She winced as the sign was sent flying across the street and clanged loudly against another unfortunate car. Well, at least she didn't have a weapon at the ready, although there were plenty of other weapons she could use. Park ignored this thought. She turned to her as she passed. Now that the anger was passed, perhaps she could help her. But how to approach this? She took a cautious step her way. - What happened to you? And who is them?
Semira: -she stopped, the questions angering her once more. Her head turned, viewing the woman with hostility once more. She didn't answer the first question, she didn't know how to. The second she grumbled back, more interested in finding her sister or shelter at this point, and to break something else.- Scientists. They are my scientists. Our scientists. -Her hair was plastered to her face, body dripping in water. Yellow eyes absorbed any light, illuminating through the darkness. She viewed the woman, fingers twitching, rings clicking together- They own us.
Park: - She was getting the feeling she'd made a mistake in not walking away. The girl only looked even angrier at being asked. Hopefully it wasn't because she'd chosen to talk to her period. She let the fact that she didn't answer the first question pass; maybe she could bring it up when they were on better terms? - Your scientists? What does that mean? - She braced herself for the anger that would probably come. She almost growled at the next statement. - No one owns you.
Semira: -She blinked at Park's growl. Suddenly, she became emotionless, her usual expression. Stiff, doll like except the piercings. She stared at Park, blinking back- Of course they do. -She bluntly responded, eyes raising, head greeting the rain. She stared upwards at the rain, eyes slowly looking down at Park, her head still raised to greet the rain.- I was made to be owned.
Park: - Well, at least she wasn't angry. She wasn't sure whether she liked this side or the other better, other than hoping there was a third side. - No, they don't. You can't own a noodle. You just can't. They might tell you they do, but that doesn't mean it's true. You are your own person. You live your life the way you want to, not by their standards.
Semira: -She viewed Park quietly, head tilting briefly to the side. Quietly, she muttered back:- I do not follow your standards. I am a project. Projects need owners for credit. -She hated speaking. She really did. She often was mute. However, tonight was an exception. She viewed Park with a blank stare, and then suddenly she made a move to leave her.-
Park: - She paused. She was beginning to get the gist of what might have happened. could it even be possible, though? - So . . . A successful experiment then, huh? Projects have creators, not owners. But you can only call it a project if it isn't a living being. You're living, I assume? Or else you wouldn't be out here walking and talking. - Park cut her off, stepped in front of her. She didn't think this would be met with warmth. - You're not owned.
Semira: -She didn't like when Park moved in-front of her, the nearest object violently ripped off the ground, a mail box, raising and jerking inches from Park's face, a protective reaction. Her eyes flashed violently, staring defiantely at Park. Slowly, she moved the object away, head tilting to the side then backwards.- There was a woman like you. I think the rumble crushed her.
Park: - She barely flinched even though she'd almost been hit. She'd expected this to happen. It was bound to. - So is this what you do? Threaten every person that tries to help you? Or do you just want to stay angry at everyone forever?
Semira: I don't need people. Marise does. I need her. That is all. -She needed Marise, she admitted. Then where the hell was she?!- I do not normally speak or threaten others. Unless she is missing. -She viewed Park, her anger and worry causing her spine to twitch briefly. This woman reminded her of the one that betrayed her and Marise, far too kind and persistent.- Help? I am not in need of repairing.
Park: You're just as much as person as Marise is. You need people too. - She was getting frustrated. She hated being frustrated. She felt like she wasn't in control of the argument. - So are you saying you're not a person if Marise isn't around? Hm? Because you basically just told me you're rude unless you're an accessory to her. - She snorted. The girl wouldn't appreciate this. - More than you know.
Semira: We both are not people. It's a mutual understanding we've come to. -It was Marise first to say they were not people. It never bothered Semira. It was a fact, a statement she felt Marise took too long to figure out. She watched Park, hearing her tone shift.- It bothers her. I am fine with it. You seem bothered, like Marise. I'll never understand why facts anger.
Park: Yes, you are. - Great. She'd gotten to the point where she couldn't even think up proper arguments. She was a person. Why Wouldn't she get it? - What would it take to prove to you that you are a person? - She could only shake her head. This was very sad to listen to the poor girl call herself unworthy of being a person. She wouldn't even act like it was a possibility. - Because it shouldn't be a fact. It's just so sad to hear you say . . . - She stopped herself. She wasn't getting it. -
Semira: -She watched the woman, unsure how to respond.- I do not know. -She admitted, though it didn't sound hurt. Why was this woman trying so hard? It was suspicious, she concluded.- Number 3 tried to prove she was a person. They scrapped her. -She wasn't disturbed by this. It was how the world worked where she had lived.-
Park: - She simply sighed, ears flattening. - Of course you don't. Of course. - The way she stated it, as if it were simply a fact, not even related to her existence. The sky is blue. The grass is green. I am not a person. Depressing. Even more so was that she didn't trust her in the least bit, no matter how much she argued. It only seemed to make her less trust worthy in her eyes. She wanted to beat whoever had set that in her head with a baseball bat. - Is Number 3 one of your scientists? - The bad feelings got worse. If she was a scientist, what help did she have?
Semira: I am Number 2. Number 1 is the one I was based after, Marise. Number 3 was an attempt to correct the mistakes in my creation. Number 3 was scrapped. -Number 3 never was given a name. She hadn't stayed around long enough for one. Semira and Marise were only named after years of being around, the scientists suddenly eagerly deciding they were equilavents to pets at this point, rather than simply lab rats. It was good enough, Semira decided. At least they had names, it was tiring to introduce herself as Number 2. She hated that look people would exchange or give.- Number 3 did not stay long enough for a name.
Park: - So she is . . . a clone, then? Hn. No wonder she's thinking strange. Number one is Marise, she is Number 2, Number 3 . . . isn't alive. Clearly they have no moral code. They don't care at all, darn it. She wasn't quite sure what to say to this piece fo information. So she went for the obvious. - Your scientists were asses without morals. you shouldn't listen to them. - There. Plain and simple. She had a feeling she wouldn't accept her right off the bat, though. -
Semira: -She viewed Park, head tilting slowly before she blinked, mute. She knew that. However, it seemed the woman didn't think she did. Quietly, she responded.- That is why we left. -Left. More like tore apart their building and murdered a few of the scientists, though Semira wasn't going into details. Not for now.-
Park: You know, the funny thing is that even though you left, you still believe them. Haha. - She didn't sound amused in the least bit. She couldn't even keep the irritated edge out of her voice. That was all the better, because now she knew how she felt. Really pissed. She'd never encountered a person so unwilling to be helped or even believe her. -
Semira: -watching Park, her eyes narrowed, mouth becoming a thin smirk, cruel- Isn't it natural? People believe in God, correct? Because he created them. -Her voice became darker, sinister, though not threatening- Us believing them is the closest thing we can do to being people. They are our God. -Her head snapped up suddenly as a loud, frightened voice called her name, yellow eyes becoming wide, fright in them before relief flooded them, and then nothing. She moved, accepting the embrace of a girl rushing forward. Their faces were the exact same, bodies built the same, minus Semira's horns and wings. The girl clung to Semira, nuzzling into her before bright green eyes opened, looking at Park and then Semira.-
Marise: I couldn't find you, Semira! -Marise wailed, looking towards Park once more, her hands gripping Semira tighter as a weak cough escaped her mouth. Semira tensed, Marise was weaker and grew sick at the drop of a hat- Who are you? Are you a friend?

Park: In theory. Personally I've never gone for that angle. God may be seen as "benevolent" deity who believes in second chances, but in reality sends those who make one too many to hell for eternity. Doesn't that sound nice? When I was old enough to realize it, I turned away from it. Whether there is a God or not doesn't matter, much as how your sceintists would more than happily destroy should you prove a "failure." Are you going to worship those deities? - She blinked, stumbling backward as a flurry of light rainbow assaulted the girl. So Semira was her name. And if she welcomed her so happily, then this was Marise. She looked a little weak, but happy. Not like Semira. - My name is D-Patricia Park. - She amended herself quickly, leaving out the Dr part. It hadn't been met well before. She'd play it the right way this time. - I'm nto sure, but I'm not here to hurt you.
Marise: Patricia Park? Hello~ -She stopped as she felt Semira shift, looking up and smiling when she saw the rain pool in the sky. Apparently, Semira were using her vectors as an umbrella. She could only wonder how it freaked others out, not being able to see the vectors. Neither could Marise, but she had grown used to it a long time ago. Drying, she shivered as cold embraced her, pressing into Semira gently. Suddenly, she blinked at Park, head tilting.- Help us? -Green eyes glanced at yellow, looking at Park once more- How?
Semira: She's a scientist. -Semira warned Marise, who pouted at her.-
Marise: So? -She was oblivious to the things Semira knew, and it showed. Semira held her tongue, glancing away, stiffening-
Park: Hello to you too. - She smiled genially at the girl. She was kind, much less frustrating than her sister. The air above her was full of rain, but not a drop fell on her. She had to stop herself from gawking at the sight above her-an invisible umbrella. Handy. - Yes, help you. I used to be a scientist is the past - She paused, waiting for a reaction. She continued. - And I might have had the same view point as /yours/ - She gave the word an ugly twist, as if she were unwilling to compare herself to them. - but I changed. I'm, ah, not too fond of science experiments really. - She waved at her bloody body, a by-product of a failed science experiment of her peer. - Well I'm really not sure yet . . . Your sister's not very open to the situation. - She cracked and grin. -
Marise: -Glancing at the womans body, she watched Park, then Semira, twitching as Semira almost growled. Marise directed her attention to Park, sympathetic as she viewed the bloody body- She may not be, but Semira isn't too open to towels or walks in the park. There's a lot she doesn't like.
Semira: -Humor? She watched the two, eyes lowering as she spotted something on her twins wrist. She twitched, and suddenly tensed, again. Who gave her that? Who was talking to her? The girl refused to look at Marise now, instead staring intently at Park, distracting herself.-
Semira: -blinking, she was caught off-guard, eyes widening for a brief second before suddenly glancing away.- No. -She seemed distraught as she viewed Marise by accident, head jerking to not view her and then settled on park, once again looking away. Finally, she settled with glaring at the sky, giving up-
Marise: ? -viewing her twin and Park, she tilted her head when the only answer Park was given was a frantic head shake of sorts before the girl glared at the sky. Glancing back at Park, she laughed gently.- She isn't that bad~ Promise!
Park: - She could only stare stare at Semira. Then why had she-? Park cut herself off. She didn't get it, but she probably wouldn't. They didn't seem to be thinking on the same plane here, although she thought it might have something to do with Marise. She didn't know the girl enough to know what was off, though, and couldn't decide. So she set it aside. - Okaaaay then. Are you sure? She threatened to smash me with a mail box.
Marise: -Turning to slowly view Semira, she frowned at her, rewarded with the female ignorning her.- You did what? Semira! -Semira refused to look at her, folding her arms. Suddenly, what was a violent, frightening, monsterous girl was now simply a grouchy one, as if a switch had been flipped. Marise rolled her eyes, viewing Park.- I'm sure. She didn't actually hit you.... which is a new thing.
Park: - Snorted a laugh - Well, she missed by an inch or two. I think she was trying to get a point across. Maybe a threat. Good control, though, I'll admit. - And surprisingly hadn't scared her at all. Suddenly Semire didn't act like the scary girl she'd been before. Go figure. She'd informed her before that she acted differently around Marise. -
Marise: -Putting her hands on her hips, she glared at Semira, though turned her attention back to Park.- Oh gosh. It's pouring. Semira, won't you cover her, too?
Semira: -There was a point where Semira considered cupping water and dumping it on them both, but she obliged, though with a firm scowl.-
Marise: Anyway. You said help us, but, do you even know what is wrong with us?
Semira: I don't want to talk about this here. Or at all. -Semira suddenly, bluntly, stated, folding her arms. Marise shifted, nodding.-
Marise: Mmm. -Turning to Park, she smiled, patting her hands together with an apologetic smile- You know! A scientist is great! I'm sure it's good if we know one! Want our house address and number?
Semira: Marise. Dangerous.
Marise: Hush hush. You can scare away the danger, right? -She folded her hands onto her hips, though saw the worry of her sister. She'd never understand her twin, the way those eyes hinted she had seen things she shouldn't. The way her shoulders seemed heavy, as if trying to shoulder something heavy. She'd never understand.-
Park: - She'd seen Semira's reluctance to share coming. Whether or not her sister thought she was okay didn't matter to her. All that mattered were the labels attached to her name: Dr. and scientist. That's all she was for now. She had to respect the way she protected her . . . sister? Nevermind. She blinked, not comprehending how their views of scientists could differ so greatly. - Er, is it alright with you if I do? - She didn't know if it was smart to outright say that yes, that would be helpful. She frowned at Semira. - I'm not going to hurt either of you. Didn't I already say that?
Semira: Many people say things. -Semira added lowly, glancing at Park, her eyes flashing a familiar expression, though what it was was unknown. She was silent when Marise glared, again, though suddenly let out a rejected sigh. FINE! She'd behave!.-
Marise: It's alright. I really don't know why she's so grouchy. Mmm. I trust you. You didn't go ballistic on Semira, and I'm sure she was just rancid to you. So of course. We can talk home. Probably. Maybe.
Park: - She frowned again. She could partly understand the distrust, but it would be nice is she didn't keep flashing back to that frightening other persona. It creeped her out just a little. More than a little. - But I'll keep it. - She added. She didn't care if Semira trusted that or not. - Sure, then. As long as she doesn't bite. She doesn't, right?
Marise: Nope. Not unless you provoke her. She doesn't use her teeth. -Her tone suggested the other weapon Semira used, toying with her scarf and pulling out paper and a pencil, something she always carried. Using her copy as support, she wrote their address and number on it, slipping it towards Park, smiling gently- Hopefully next time we all won't be wet?
Park: - She had to smile at the humor. She knew, though, that were other things in Semira's repertoire that were worse than being bitten. Marise knew it, too, but she skirted the issue. She took the piece of paper, smile still in place but wattage controlled so that Semira wouldn't get too nervous. She already was nervous enough. Yeah. On a nicer day.

Rainbow Soda Park: - It was definitely a nicer day. The sun was out, bright and sunny, beautiful puffy white clouds floating around and cool breeze. The birds seemed to sing her perky mood. She figured she needed to get it all out of her before she turned around. Even days later, she couldn't be sure what Semira would act like. Marise might help she hoped. She stopped at their house and knocked on the door. -
Semira: -Marise was out.... again. All the damn time, going in and out, coming back with a stupid smile on her face that sent angry shivers down her spine. She wanted to bare her teeth and claw whoever was stealing her attention. She wanted to rip and break things, and briefly she had a few nights ago. The sound of a knock alerted her, not moving from where she was, in the living room. Her vectors opened the door, returning to her as her voice called:- Come in. -She was far to confident in her own safety, allowing strangers in easily. She had every reason to be confident, though, if Marise was in the house she wouldn't do such a thing.-
Park: - It was just a touch creepy when the door opened and no one was there, sending her images of haunted houses and homicidal ghosts. Then she remembered Semira's special powers and calmed down, but only a little. Marise didn't seem like the kind of person who let her sister's powers open the door for her. And she couldn't hear anyone except for Semira. No one except for Semira. And then the panic attack started up again. Maybe this had been a bad day after all or something. But she was already in, so she cautiously made her way to the voice, guard up. - Uh, hello. Was today a bad day? I could come back another day or something . . .
Semira: -That woman entered and she tensed. The nosey thing. However, Marise had tod her on the event the woman came when she wasn't there to let her in, and Semira wasn't that pissed to ignore that. Anyway, she was sick and tired of Marise wandering off. It was sending her insane..- It doesn't matter, she won't be home the next time you arrive. I won't murder you in our house.
Park: - She hesitantly sat down on a couch, not sure how to act. She hadn't really talked to the girl much last time around. She'd mostly just thrown things around with her powers and said short, to the point sentences. Most were against her. She still didn't look very pleased to see her and felt as if Marise might be some sort of guardian angel protecting her even now. - Ah, so . . . - She trailed off, still unsure. She wasn't too pissed, at least not at her, but she felt like she wasn't all too happy with Marise right now. - So where's Marise?
Semira: Somewhere. -She grumbled back, looking away, glancing at the TV.- She decided, for once, to be social. -Her voice was clear how it sickened her. No. Not sickened. It bothered her. They were always together, Semira needed Marise. She needed her to keep her still, needed to protect her and be with her. And yet, Marise was... she was.... hrn.-
Park: - Definitely something going on with Marise, but she didn't think it was her place to ask Marise either, so she just sat in awkward silence until Semira broke it. - Well that's nice. Neither of you's ever been around other people, right? Maybe she's making friends or something. - But apparently this didn't sit well with Semira. She felt sort of bad. Marise was obviously the social one, whereas Semira sat there and brooded. - Have you talked to anyone other than your sister? - She had a feeling she already knew the answer, but felt like asking anyhow. Maybe she could coerce her into it? -
Semira: -She looked startled at the question, long hair shifting as she folded her legs.- We've been near a lot of people. But scientists. Socilazing wasn't on their list, usually. -She paused in thought, wings extending and cracking.- Marise usually speaks for me.
Park: So . . . no? But don't you ever feel like getting to know someone other than Marise? I know she's your, er, other half or whatever, but wouldn't you like to know someone else? - She peered cautiously at the girl. - Wouldn't you like to be your own person . . . ?
Semira: -She looked up, blankly looking at Park. Slowly, she shook her head, glancing emotionlessly out the window. She could feel her stomach coil and her heart shudder. Her own person? That wasn't possible. This woman didn't understand.- No. I was made to replace her. I am not a person. I am supposed to be her. We are the same.
Park: - She paused. How could she word this nicely and without insulting her? She didn't want a repeat of the other day, but maybe, just maybe, if she pushed this she could get somewhere over time. It was worth a shot. - You may have been /made/ to replace her, but you're not her replacement anymore. You're not with her. You control what happens now, and you have the oppoturnity to be your own . . .
Semira: -She focused on Park, voice lowering slightly, though not threatening.- Perhaps I do not want to me on my own. -With this, she glanced back at the TV, though had no desire to turn the TV on. She needed something to look at, even if it be her dimly reflected face.-
Park: - She didn't feel threatened, but knew she'd touched a sore spot. Hopefully in a few days of this she might get somewhere. But it might not happen today, after all. She sat back, relaxing a letting the silence stretch a little. - Other than that you were supposed to be her, why don't you want to be on your own? - She paused again, glancing at the TV. - It might serve as a better distraction if you turned in on. - She pointed out.
Semira: -She took the womans advice, turning the TV on with her hand, for once not using her vectors. She looked up at Park, nail dragging across the couch side before glancing at the TV.- She's fragile. -She responded with, voice tight. The fact she was even responding was something new, often she'd ignore the other asking questions-
Park: - The sound of the TV broke the silence and took a little of her attention. It wasn't particularly interesting, but it was less awkward. Much nicer. There was canned laughter and Semira finally gave her an answer. She processed that for a second. She'd noticed that the girl seemed weak, sick or something the other day. She just didn't know how far. Aparently enouh for Semira to worry. - But she still wants to be able to have her own life. There's no reason you can't be able to have your own and still care for her. - She hinted. -
Semira: And yet she panickes when I'm not home. -What was she to Marise? No. It didn't matter. She knew what she was, of course! Why was she worrying? Stupid. Semira and Marise were close, Semira had destroyed an entire lab faculty for her. She had stolen her away from doctors wishing to scrap her. Yet, Marise never knew that. Perhaps she was being replaced. Perhaps... Her head suddenly jerked around, leaning her head on her hand- What did you research?
Park: - She didn't know what to say to that, so she just made a little grunt, thought it over, then said - She worries about you, too, I bet. I mean . . . - She didn't really know either well enough to know the true issue, but she supposed she could guess. She seemed to come to some sort of conclusion, and directed her attention on her. - Uh, Biology. I was a college professor.
Semira: -Her eyebrow raised. A professor. Hardly threatening. She looked back towards the TV, deciding to not respond towards the first half of what Park said. Or the second, now that she thought about it. She didn't know what to say, honestly. Marise was better at this. What would she do? Awkwardly, turning around, she focused on Park- Do you want anything to drink?
Park: - Well, well, was that some sort of relaxation there? She seemed just as awkward at this talking thing as she was. Usually Park only had to help someone out quickly, there were never in too much trouble, and leave. That was that. She never spent time at their house or met their twins or learned much about them personally. She sighed. People were hard to get along with. - Uh, lemonade, or water, I guess. - She shifted against the couch. -
Semira: Lemon... Lemon what? -She was confused, it showed, but she left to get water. After much slamming, banging, and awkward mumbles, she returned with a glass almost over-filled with water. She awkwardly shoved it at Park, refusing to look at her- Water.
Park: Lemonade. Like lemon juice and sugar and water? - She gazed quizzically at Semira as she left the room. Then she remembered that she hadn't exactly had much of a childhood, so she couldn't be blamed if she didn't know what it was. Out of curiosity she kind of wanted to know if it was just lemonade or-? She took the water offered to her a took a few sips, then set it down on the sidetable and leaned in. - So, out of curiosity, do you know what anything other than water is . . . ?
Semira: What do you mean? I know lots of things... -She frowned, wondering if the other was hinting that Semira was possibly dumb?-
Park: - She laughed. She had to. - No, no! Like drinks other than water. Like soda, or martinis or anything like that? Or is it just water?
Semira: -She blinked, face changing into complete confusion- There are other things to drink?
Park: - She blanched. Ah, no wonder she didn't know what lemonade was. She didn't even know it existed. She also highly doubted that there was anything other than water in the fridge either. If she wasn't acquainted with the joys of variety, she had yet to live. She wouldn't let this stand. - Yes! Lots of lots of stuff. And you're going to see all of it today. We're going to the grocery store. Right. Now. - Her tone let her know this was not up for discussion. She grabbed Semira's hand and started pulling her toward the door. -
Semira: -She stared at Park, considering simply walking away. What was she talking about? The swift moment startled her and she almost sent a couch flying, but then a hand touched hers, a strange, foreign thing. Only Marise did that, and even then rarely. This stopped her from anything violent, a bright red blush touching her face- W-What are you talking about, you lunatic?! -She was dragged, though, perhaps she was letting this happen a little.-
Park: - Thank the Gods she hadn't sent anything flying, although she distinctly heard a couch thump back down. And somehow blushed. Ah, well, human contact would do her well. So would the grocery store. And soda. And lemonade. And every other sugar-filled drink she could think of. She would buy them all for her, oh, yes. - I already told you. We're going to grocery store. I'm going to buy you every sugary variety in the aisle. And then you're going to have some. Of everything. - At least she wasn't meeting resistance. She threw open the door and shut it behind her once Semira was out, and didn't spend any time admiring the scenery. This needed correcting. -
Semira: You're insane. -Semira complained, and yet the only reistance Park was met with was light, showy resistance. She was far stronger than that, and yet she seemed to be doing it for show. She bit the bottom on her lip, unhappy about A.) She was being dragged around randomly. B.) It was morning and she was outside. C.) She had a feeling today would end in some horrible way that would result in Marise laughing hysterically. And yet here she was, allowing herself to be dragged off-
Park: I think we've already covered that. I don't particularly care what you say, you're the one who doesn't know what lemonade is. - She really was going along with this. In other circumstances she might have made a jab about it, but she was too busy navagating the streets without bumping too many people. It didn't really work, but she could care less. - In here! - she ordered, dragging her past the automatic doors of the grocery store. -
Semira: -Semira froze in the store, suddenly shocked. She stared at the huge stores inside, looking about in shock briefly before quietly changing her face to a scowl pretending to not be startled. Still, she viewed the area around her with curiousity. Now she knew why Marise always went shopping-
Park: - She waved at all of the aisles. - Now all of this is food. See the aisles? They have little signs above them, and those say what kind of food is in it. That one has icecream, see? - She pointed to the black and white sign above the aisle - But were going to this one. - She dragged Semira over to an aisle of racks, all of which held colorful drinks-soda. - Now this aisle has soda, which is fizzy. All of the drinks have sugar, juice included. - She dragged her over to the aisle next to it. These drinks were more mellow. - All of these are juice, from fruits and stuff. Some of them have veggies, but I don't like those as much. Now, you're going to look around and pick up as many as you want and put them into the cart. - She shoved a stray cart her way and then waved at the bottles. -
Semira: Icecream? -She looked at Park with a raised eyebrow, though she didn't question. The quicker she grabbed the objects the faster they'd be out of there. She glanced around her, shocked by the colors and shades. What? You... put these in your mouth? That was..... it was like drinking the rainbow! However, she was intigued by the colors, and actually, for once, she listened. Grabbing sodas and juices and throwing them into the cart, peering at them like a child getting new toys, almost excited. Almost.-
Park: Cold dairy stuff, flavored. Like with vanilla and stuff. You can add chocolate, and nuts, and whipped cream and stuff like that on top too for more flavor. We'll get you some of that, too, but drinks first. - She was glad Semira was getting excited about something, even if it was only the color. She didn't even mind the people milling about. While Semira excitedly threw everything she could get her hands on in, Park quickly grabbed a couple kinds of icecream and some toppings and put them in a second cart, setting it next to the other just in case. -
Semira: -She was like a child, so unaccustomed to actually receiving anything she wanted. So curious and so shocked that she could, in fact get /anything/ she wanted. And hell, she wanted all the colors. Later, she'd be ashamed for her behavior. But right now? No. She was excited and lost in her frenzy to grab at least one of every color, and then double-back for different versions of that colors. When she was finished the second cart was needed. She didn't care about carrying. Her vectors were strong enough. What she cared about was this collection of rainbow fluid that apparently could be consumed.-
Park: - She could've laughed hysterically at the sight before her. The frightening girl of yesterday was no more. Instead, she was nabbing every hue of the rainbow she could lay her paws on and tossing them all into the cart. She just hoped they weren't too shaken up. The muffled laughter continued through the trip as she waited for Semira to complete her rainbow quest for all of the colorful drinks. - Almost done there? I think there might be a second aisle . . . - She joked, a grin curving her lips. -
Semira: -Park's voice suddenly broke her from her journey, eyes raising mid grab of a drink. She looked like a child, caught with a cookie and pretending they weren't there if the stood there long enough. Slowly, as if a thief, she put the drink down while keeping eye contact with Park.- Is....there? -Her voice raised a hopeful octave, wings fluttering slightly-
Park: - It was absolutely priceless. And, altouhgh she'd been joking around, there actually was a second aisle, just one aisle over. Gotta love those grocery stores. - It's right next to this one. Go on. I'll find us some more carts. - She hadn't actually thought she'd want more, but if she wanted a houseful of soda and juice, so be it. This was too cute. -
Semira: -For a second she stared at her cart, wondering if perhaps she should take it with her. However, who would honestly steal a cart-full of drinks? Really? So, she, a little too quickly, flounced off to find the second aisle, located it, and started making a fort of drinks. Life was good as long as she had that specific purple soda, and green soda, and orange juice, and yell- Yup...-
Park: - Park returned once again with two empty carts in tow. She saw that Semira had left the two there, but only shrugged and brought them to the other aisle where she was creating a pile of different drinks. She set the two there and started loading up that with the already chosen drinks, then waved off the manager, who was heading over with a worried expression on his face. This was no biggy. She could have the whole store if she wanted, although it was looking like she'd have it anyhow. - Here's the second cart. Try to be careful with the soda; they fizz up when they're shaken.
Semira: -Good. Another cart. Amazing. Good. It took her a few minutes to fill it up, but finally she seemed calmed, looking at Park with an out-of place scowl.- This is stupid. -Yet, while she said that she possessively draped herself around a cart.-
Park: - She couldn't control the snort this time. - The way you're protecting that cart, I'd say otherwise. - She headed over to the other aisle and dragged the two carts over, but by the time she got there, she was dripping sweart. Who knew water and sugar could be so heavy? - A little help here? It'd be great! We have to go check out! Are you done yet?
Semira: -She stared at Park, standing quickly. At the mention for needed help her vectors suddenly lifted every single basket, all the way to the ceiling, and she folded her arms, confused at the stares and some loud gasps.- What.
Park: - She shook her head vehemently, trying to tell her to lower the the baskets. - Carefully put them down. - she whispered - People don't know how to take this. Most people aren't able to do that. Just kinda roll them along to the counter, 'kay?
Semira: -suddenly, it dropped, though she managed to stop it from slamming just in time. Fine. She gently rolled the carts forward, ignorning the crowd that was slowly getting louder. Looking at Park, she frowned slowly. Did it matter if they couldn't do that? Then they should be amused. No. They seemed scared. Hm.-
Park: - She jumped high as the baskets suddenly dropped, although the girl managed to at least stop them from falling to the floor. She still didn't like the loud bang that ensued. She made her way up to the counter and went through the tedious task of checking things out. They had so much that the cashier had to count them as two transactions, not one. All the while the people around them whispered, but Semira didn't seem worried in the least, just amused. She would be pleased when they finally left. She wrote up a check and was out the door in a heart beat, struggling with the annoyingly heavy carts. - You probably shouldn't make such a spectacle. It'll draw a lot of attention to the two of you.
Semira: -She shrugged back, once they left she leaned coser, folding her arms- Can I carry them? -It must be weird to hear someone to offer to carry carts, but she wasn't worried. She actually seemed comfortable enough with her ability, perhaps too comfortable. She shrugged, again, and looked away to the side, face controrting briefly- Her power is seen as a miracle.
Park: - After a little bit of near-futile struggling, she caved. - Yeah, sure. Take 'em. I'll never be able to get them out of her. - She just walked alongside her as they made their way down back to the house. She didn't know if Semira had limits, but she didn't want to push her. She didn't know how to handle the fall out. Once they reached the house she stared at the carts with worry. - Where's all of the going to fit? And I think we just stole their carts . . .
Semira: Stole their carts? They actually care? -Once the reached the house she turned to view Park.- I can return them after. -Suddenly, she focused on Park, deciding to reward her.- I have six vectors. They are like invisible arms. They reach just over the length of a foot ball field. I know you've been wondering what I can do. Numb- Marise can heal, but it saps away her energy for the time being.
Park: Well, yeah. You know, they do have them so others can use them too. - She grinned brightly at her change in mood. So bringing her new experiences allowed her information? She needed to remember this for next visit. - Good. No, great! - She smiled brightly. They were finally getting somewhere. And this meant she wasn't a threat anymore, right? -
Semira: -She watched Park, glancing at the drinks- Where do... colored water go? -She questioned, suddenly doubting if the fridge could hold this much rainbow water. Opening the door towards the home, she slipped inside and used a vector to drag one of the carts inside.- I'll return them soon. -She promised, just in case Park protested-
Park: - She stared at the many carts they'd filled with soda and juice and other drinks. She was thinking along those lines. - You wouldn't happen to have a secret empty room we coud dump all of these in? - What would Marise say if she knew Park was leading her sister into obsession with drinks? She didn't even want to explain how this had happened. -
Semira: No, we don't. -She stared at the drinks, ears flicking briefly. Marise would say they should host a party, but Semira recoiled at that idea. Mmm.- We will need to drink them until there's enough to put away.

What is Snow?! Park: - grocery shopping, shoving more colorful sodas into her bag to appease Semira's obsession. She's still not sure exactly how they managed to hide all of those bottles of soda-enough to fill THREE carts-from Semira's twin, Marise, but somehow they did it. It involved plenty of soda-drinking, that was for sure. After she checked out with a few bags of soda and a couple of other bags of things they really needed, Park headed out the mechanical door to head home, but stopped. A woman near her was peering in terror out into the distance, a phone pressed against her ear. Curious and a mite concerned, Park nonchalantly rifled through her bags, as if checking to see if everything was there, and listened in. - I know, right? It's the weirdest thing I've ever heard of! Flying. Objects. Do you hear me? FLYING. There was this one girl, she seemed kinda pissed or something, but everyone else was freaked. She kept glaring at everyone and- - Park didn't get to hear the end of that sentence; she was already rushing as fast as a noodle carrying six grocery bags could in the general direction of the park. She stopped very briefly to ask for directions, then was back on her way there. She stopped abruptly in the middle of the park, whipping her head from side to side as she attempted to find out what was wrong with Semira. -
Semira was frightened. The sky was producing white things, and she wasn't sure what it was. It was cold and small, and vanished when she touched it. Was this the scientists doing? She was so frightened, so absolutely terrified, that she had resorted to violence, her vectors tearing and crushing and breaking everything around. Lamps were tossed. Benches were smashed. Trees thrown or sliced. She was going mad, white hair flying around as she jerked from each direction, frantically trying to stop the white falling things. Yellow eyes were wild, pupils mere slits as her teeth gritted. People were screaming, this only frightened her more, sending the violent woman into a frenzy as she sent trees across the park. Why was the sky falling?
Park frantically rushed through the trees. Somewhere in the distance she could hear other noodles frantically screaming and, occasionally, she could see a tree or two flying well above the others and the unmistakable crash of objects colliding-hopefully not with noodles. Eventually she tracked back to the source of the commotion. A large cluster of noodles were pushing past each other, terrified and trying to escape Semira's work. She pushed past them all as quickly as she could trying to see Semira through the group of noodles shoving her this way and that. She finally escaped the pack, huffing, and could see Semira on the other side. She looked as if she'd lost it completely, and Park hesitantly made her way over. Was it wise to get close to her in this state? But someone needed to calm her down. She got as close as she dared and stopped, shifting from foot to foot, and then reached out a hand to touch Semira's arm. "Semira, what's wrong? Are you hurt? Did something happen to Marise?" She couldn't keep the worry from her voice.
Semira felt movement, and suddenly she whipped around, eyes wild as her vectors raised, about to rip Park to shreds. However, they froze, the invisible forces hovering right by the womans neck before suddenly sliding back inside Semira. Yellow eyes widened further, and then the pupils dilated finally, her mouth relaxing into now a frightened grimace. Parks' appearance had calmed her, and unlike last time she actually did not attack Park, instead flipping her ears back. Park was seeing how Semira acted with Marise, much more frightened and innocent than the angry, vicious woman Park had first met. A girl who was frightened of snow and loved soda, and was suddenly touching Park's arms in panic. "The sky is falling!" Semira urgently cried out, fright starting to send her wild once more as her eyes began to become slits once more, the trees nearby tilting as her vectors began to grab onto them once more. "Why is everyone okay with this? The sky is FALLING. The scientists are here. Why is everyone calm? Why are you calm?"
Park was worried for just a moment that Semira's whatever-you-call-it were going to tear into her, but they stopped at her neck. She held her breath until she could feel them drop ad Semira calmed and her eyes returned to normal. Park listened to Semira's rushed commentary with a puzzled expression on her face. What on earth was she talking about? Sky-falling? The sky was following. She peered up into the cloudy white sky, but it didn't look any stranger than it usually did when it snowed. She was about to say something witty concerning the sky when the trees tilted. She reached out to hold down her arms. "SEMIRA! Calm down. The sky ISN'T falling, alright? What are you even talking about? And I'm the only scientist anywhere in the vicinity, alright? Alright?"
Semira flipped her head to glare at Park, eyes wild as she ripped her arms away, extending her hands to the sky. "Falling! Do you not see the white? It is falling! The sky is collapsing! Why can't you see?!" The trees shifted further, creaking as her vectors pulled on them. She wanted to run. She was terrified, but how could you hide from a collapsing sky? How could you run from something that was continous? That had always and will always be above you, able to crush you no matter where you were? "The ground is becoming white!" She suddenly gasped, realizing what exactly she was stepping on. The trees groaned, and once again the park was in danger as Semira slipped closer to her frightened panic.
"Shhh. Shhh. Nothing's falling-wait, did you say the white? The white falling from the sky?" Park had the strong urge to laugh aloud, to tumble to the floor and roll around contemplating this. Had she never seen the snow before? The scientists must have kept them from the outside world as well. That seemed like a smart idea, actually-Semira was going wild with fright in reaction to this new and alien weather. "It-it's alright." She stifled another burst of laughter. "It's just the snow. You know, snow? White Christmas? Blanket of white? It's completely normal, Semira. In fact, this happens every year at this time of year, in the winter-well, unless you're in the southern hemisphere, alright? Snow," she cooed, stroking Semira's arm to soothe her. "When the ground gets cold enough from the snow the snow builds up on top of it. It's alright! Maybe we'll even have a white Christmas this year, eh?"
She sensed laughter. Her head whipped around, glowering viciously, violently at Park, and then it softened into confusion. Snow? Christmas? What were these things? She took a step back, the trees suddenly released from their prisions as she glanced up at the sky. Her eyes snapped shut as snow fell into them, head lowering to view Park with a childish confusion. "Snow?" She questioned. This was... normal? "It's normal for the sky to fall?" She asked, then hearing again the word Christmas. "Christmas?" The experiment had stopped her violent behavior, for now, and instead was viewing Park with curious eyes, narrowed in suspicion.
Park held up her hands in mock-surrender when Semira turned to glare a her. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't be laughing; it's just that I've never met anyone who didn't know what snow is." She waved vaguely at their surroundings and the snow falling from the sky. The snow was indeed finely coating the ground and trees with a thin blanket of snow. "Yes, snow, and it's not the sky. You see, the snow is the water vapor in the clouds that solidifies when it becomes colder than 31 degrees. When there is enough snow, it falls from the clouds. See all of the clouds? It's just like rain, but it can only happen during the winter when it is cold. Alright? No harm done." Her eyes swept over the devestated park; benches, trees and lamps bent out of shape and thrown about. "Well, sort of no harm done. At least no one was hurt." She blinked at Semira. She had no idea about Christmas either? "Yes, yes. Christmas. It's sort of a mix of a religious Christian holiday and a family holiday. People put up lights and other decorations, like lights and wreaths, on their homes and put up a pine tree and decorate it with ornaments. Then, on Christmas Eve, Santa Claus is supposed to come to their home down the chimney, eat the cookies and milk people leave out for them, and leave presents under their tree and fill their stockings if they were good boys and girls. The family members also buy presents for one another. There are all sorts of songs to sing and movies to watch. It's a wonderful holiday," she sighed dreamily. It was her favorite holiday. "I take it you never celebrated it?" She'd thrown Santa in for the giggles. Perhaps, if Semira believed her, she would be able to play Santa for her and her twin?
".....Santa Claus?" Semira watched the woman, shocked by everything. Snow was rain. Snow was normal. Snow was not the sky. A person named Santa Claus went down chimneys and gave gifts. Presents? She hadn't gotten Marise anything... But then again, Marise didn't understand snow or Christmas or Santa Claus. This person.... "I do not have a chimney!" She suddenly yelped, head turning. "Will Santa Claus not visit our home? I do not know songs. I did not get presents. How do we know if we've been bad or good? Is there a list? Is my name on the list? Am I qualified as a girl? I was not born, will Santa Claus not want to gift me? What of Marise?" She was suddenly eager, like a child, perked up and eyes wide. "Marise does not know of this snow or Christmas. We must tell her." We. She had just included Park in her daily life, something so strange and rare and special, for we was not a word she used when seeing Marise. Park was trusted near Marise, it seemed. "Stockings? What are stockings?" Ah, she was going off like a little child.
Park once again had to urge to laugh. She believed it so easily, so quickly. No matter that Santa Claus was technically not possible, what with the sheer horsepower those reindeers would need to complete that long a ride in a single night, but no matter. Semira had never experienced the magic of Christmas, and she would not take that from her. She enthusiastically threw herself into the gossip as if she believed in nothing else. "It's alright! Santa Claus will just come through the door like her will to the other homes without chimneys. He'll land his reindeer on your lawn and come up to the door. He has special Santa magic that lets him in! I will teach you the songs, and we still have some time to get presents! Many people get presents no earlier than the day before, and their families still have presents from them. We'll stop at the store, alright? I'm sure you've been good, don't worry. He does have a list, but I'm sure you've been good. I'm sure he'll still give you presents and such. The both of you." She answered each and every one of Semira's eager questions as quickly as she could. The light in her eyes was priceless-no wonder parents kept up the charade so long. She tried to act as excited as possible so that Semira would not be able to tell she was lying, but that wasn't a problem. She readily believed every word she said. "Yes. We'll tell Marisse. Why don't we go now?" She began walking out of the park. She was touched that Semira trusted her so much. It seemed like only yesterday that Semira had nearly killed her. "They're basically giant, colorful, fluffy socks; one for each person. Santa fills the stockings with candy and little toys and things like that."
Semira followed eagerly, listening intently. The woman quickened her pace to keep up with Park, yellow eyes suspiciously watching her face before glancing at the sky again. "He breaks in?" She questioned. But, it seemed that was acceptable, so she let it go. Besides, she would make sure Marise was safe during then. "When does he come? Does he /need/ cookies and milk? How do you make cookies? What.... are cookies and milk?" She blinked in response about the socks, bu didn't question that one, it seemed that made enough sense for her.
Park continued her dialogue, explaining Santa's many impossible feets to Semira's eager ears. She lapped it up like hot chocolate on a snowy day. Speaking of, she stopped at a small cafe to quickly some for both her and Semira, paid, handed it to her, and continued on her way. "Well, er, I suppose you could call it that. But he leaves you lots of presents and good things, so does it matter? He won't hurt either of you." She waved it away and continued on their walk back to Semira's home. "He comes in the middle of the night when we are sleeping, so you can't be awake when he comes. No, but Santa likes cookies and milk. He works very hard for the noodles all over the world, so it helps him on his way. I'll also show you how to make cookies. It's easy, and I have a nice recipe I came up with that I'm sure he'll like. Eh? Cookies are, well, cookies? The little round sweet treats? I'm not sure how to explain those . . . And milk is the white liquid stuff that comes from cows? You can buy it in the grocery store, where we got all of the soda from." She waved the bags of treats on her arms. "Speaking of, I got more soda and some other food."
When they entered the cafe Semira narrowed her eyes, glancing about quietly until something warm touched her hands. She held it and walked beside Park, sniffing the hot chocolate before taking a sip. She was absolutely shocked, purring low within her throat as she drank. As cookies and milk were explained she didn't mention she didn't understand, however perked up when soda was mentioned. "Soda? What color?" She asked, glancing at the bags with interest. "Food?" Her invisible vectors tugged on the bags, offering to carry them for the other.
"It's hot chocolate. Uh, chocolate is the brown solids in candy wrappers." She smiled as Semira began to pur in delight. The weather might not bother her as much while that was with her. She could almost sense her uncertainty. "I promise I
'll show you closer to Christmas." She rifled through the bag, ticking off colors. "A couple orange, some red, a purple, and a sort of teal-ish color. I thought you might not have one yet." She pulled the teal one out of her bag for Semira to see. "Yes, food. A couple things you can put in the microwave or over to reheat, but I also have some things so that I can make you two real food."
A vector lifted the teal bottle and viewed it. She remembered, briefly, one of Park's lessons when she saw someone walking by make a comottion, setting the bottle back in the bag and turning to Park. "You'll make us food?" This seemed enough to cause a slight smirk. The last meal they tried to make was when they put an apple in the microwave..... They were still figuring out food.
Park didn't even blink when Semira used her powers to lift up the bottle from her hands and look at it-no hands. Of course, a couple of the people surrounding them did stare, but Park was glad Semira quickly put the bottle back in her bag before too many people saw them. It would be bad for the twins if they were too obvious with what they could do-those scientists of hers, if they were looking for them, might hear word of it and come. She wouldn't bring it up with her, though, because it would send poor Semira into a protective frenzy and no doubt cause more mayhem. "Mhm. I have some spaghetti in here, sauce, of course, bread and meats and cheeses for sandwiches. I know how to make a mean mac n' cheese, fresh. I have lots of other treats in here, too, like desserts and things. I'll even teach you how to use the microwave." She had to do that, or else they wouldn't be able to make any speedy meals on their own without setting something on fire.
"Apples taste bad in the heat box." She mused, pausing. "Microwave." She corrected herself as they walked, listening as Park spoke. She knew nothing of any of the words the woman spoke, but she was fine with it. Park said many strange things, but at the end of the day Park always made it clear what she was speaking of. Perhaps this was why Semira trusted the woman so much. Either way, as they walked she glanced at the food with interest, sipping her chocolate contenly, saving some for Marise.
"Heat box-? Oh, microwave. I see. Well, apples really aren't supposed to be in the microwave. The frozen meals I got you guys does, though. All you have to do is follow the directions on the back of the box. You know how to read, right?" She took one out to demostrate. "Really simple if you follow these on the box." She indicated the instructions and handed the box to Semira. "Here we are!" she said, stepping up to the door and waiting for Semira to unlock the door.
"We can read, yes." Semira responded as she approached the door, wings flapping as she pulled out the key and opened the door. She didn't even tense as a rainbow girl threw herself at Semira, anyone else (including Park) she'd at least snap at. Marise? The girl was accepted quietly as the blue and white girl hugged her in response, ear twitching. "Marise?" She questioned quietly as Marise wailed about the lack of food, green eyes widening as she glanced up and viewed the snow. "Snow. That's snow! Park taught me!" Semira pulled Marise back into the apartment, handing the chocolate to Marise eagerly. "Hot chocolate. Park showed me." She paused, glancing around and vanishing into their bedroom. "We need socks for Santa Claus. Park told me." Park Park Park. The woman was sure teaching Semira everything.
"Good. It'll be that much easier then. But remember to follow each instruction as it says on the back or else something bad might happen. It might set on fire or something. Just do what it says." She couldn't stress this enough. She couldn't always watch over their backs, and if she wasn't there for a house fire? Did they know what to do? Maybe she had to teach them the proper way to douse a fire. She'd set one outside, maybe, and . . . No, one lesson at a time. She jumped back a little to give them a little to themselves. She knew Marise was most definitely on the top of Semira's good list. Good thing I got food then, she thought. She let them go through the motions, introducing the new concepts she'd taught Semira. She knew Semira would describe them well; she loved learning.
Semira returned with colorful socks, flopping them on the couch. "Santa will like that." She decided, quickly turning to Marise and rattling off /everything/ Park had taught her. To say Marise was overwhelmed was something, but eventually she nodded with interest and grinned at Park.
"I'm very glad Park taught you these things <3" She chirped. Marise smiled at Park, pleased. The woman was turning Semira into someone new, and it was interesting to see the other so... excited. Semira was suddenly off towards the fridge, muttering about food and Santa and cookies as she poked about.
She supposed that while that wasn't exactly what she was thinking of, it would have to do. "Are these big enough for lots of goodies?" She flipped through, looking for a couple overlarge, stretched ones as Semira recited everytihing she knew as of right now. She nodded at Marise, picking up one that looked like it would hold quite a lot, and set it off the side.
Turning to Park, Semira settled down on the couch, suddenly quiet, finally. "Park brought food." She told Marise, watching as the rainbow fox also perked up, tail wagging a mile a minute. "Something called.... spagpatty?"
She nodded, sitting down and pulling the six bags onto the couch with her. She pulled out the spaghetti, and set it down, along with the sauce. "I brought plenty of food, but if you want spaghetti first, I'll make it right now. Are you hungry? You two can watch if you want so that you'll know how to make it in the future without my help. I bought more so that if you catch on you can make more later. If not . . . I guess I'll make it when I stop by." She headed over the kitchen. When do you keep the pots?"

Merry Christmas!! Park stood outside in the freezing cold wearing what might just have to be the most ridiculous outfit she'd even worn; a red fuzzy Santa costume, complete with fake beard, although she herself was female. The things she did for the girls. Her shoulder ached for the burden of the sack of colorful presents she was hauling over her shoulder. Although it only contained presents and stockings for the three of them, she'd probably gone a bit overboard shopping, especially for them. The stockings were huge, the presents even bigger, and filled the the brim with small treats and games and, well, soda. This would their first, and best, Christmas ever. Now all she needed was for Marise to let her in to deposit all of these under the tree.
Marise had heard Park approach, leaping off the couch in a frantic hurry and hopping off to the door for her friend. She worried, briefly, when she heard movement, praying it wasn't Semira and sighing in relief when she noticed it was simply the wind. Oh thank goodness! She didn't want this ruined! Opening the door to reveal her home to Park she pressed a finger to her own mouth, a shush motion. "Semira is sleeping, we should probably be reeeeaaaallllly quiet. Come in~"
Park stepped over the threshold very slowly. This was Semira's latest obsession, now that Christmas was around. The house was decorate in varying shades of red and green, although some of them were merely cut from paper. The ceiling resembled some sort of demented snow field, jutting edges of paper snowflake chains being the main theme. The tree stood in the corner, decorated with twinkling lights and a rainbow assortment of ornaments from round bulbs to Santa vacationing in the Caribbean. It seemed like she'd grabbed everything she could find relating to the season. Turning her attention from the room, Park gently set the sack on the floor, wincing when it let out only a muted 'thump' as it touched it. She was being excessively slow about it all, she knew, but she didn't want the paranoid Semira to hear her from upstairs and run down only to realize this was a scheme between Park and Marise. She dug out the gigantic red and white stockings from the bag and held them out to her, then pointed at a wall. "Stick those over there somehow. I have some duct tape, but if it doesn't work, we could try these hangers?" She held out a few stick-on hooks and a roll of festive duct tape, then returned to the bag. She quietly headed over to the tree with an armful of presents and began gently positioning them around the tree.
With a pleased grin Marise happily scooped the stockings up and the duct tape and skipped off to hang them up. Oh gosh, her sisters reaction would be priceless~ They never had a Christmas, or any holiday even, so this itself was something that would blow Semira's mind. Hopefully in a good way. As she hung the stockings Marise glanced back at Park, tail flicking gently and tapping her scarf before speaking. "Park. Thank you, very much. This means a lot to us."
Park smiled at her. "It's really no big deal. I just can't believe they took Christmas from the both of you. You guys deserve better. I just wish you'd bought into it too." She sent a mischievous grin Marise's way. Marise hadn't fallen for the Santa Clause thing, which was all well and good, because Park would never have been able to get in without some inside help. The set another round of slightly smaller presents around the tree.
Marise laughed, head shaking. "I didn't expect her to! She's so literate~" With this she finished with the stockings, turning to Park and extending her hands. "Can I help some more?"
Park dug around in the bag and retrieved a few smaller presents. "Hide these in the branches and then go and eat some of the cookies she left out." On the table nearby where they'd placed the presents was a little side table, on which supposedly lay a plate. Supposedly because in Semira's excited frenzy of baking, she'd made so many (hopefully edible) cookies that it covered the entire side table and the entire plate. She could only see the top of the milk. "We have a eat all of them."
"Eat cookies? That's hardly working!" With a grin the woman pranced over to hide some presents, nabbing cookies inbetween present duty and eating. Who knew Christmas was this fun? It'd be even better once her sister wobbled downstairs. She only hoped the other didn't /freak/ and actually reacted properly... "All of them? Why?"
She grinned and set the last few presents down along the semi-circle surrouding the tree. "There! All done." The stockings were hung, the presents were set, some even hidden. All that was left were the cookies. Marise was doing a good job cutting down on them. "Well, I suppose we don't have to eat all of them, but why waste? They taste great." She headed over to the table and started eating them, dragging the deflated bag alongside her. "We should probably hurry, though. She's probably going to be one of those people who wakes up early to "catch" Santa."
"She told me she'd wake as soon as the sun rose. I'm surprised she hasn't dashed down right now." She mused, wincing as suddenly she heard movement from the room above. "Oh! Hurry! She's coming!" She whispered, cramming cookies into her mouth as if she had never eaten before and beginning to clean their mess.
Panicked, Park began stripping instantly. She'd had the foresight to put some pajamas on underneath. She stuffed the Santa clothes into the empty sack, then took the sack to a small spot that was pretty well hidden that she didn't think either girl realized was there. That down, she started mimicking Marise's actions and shoved cookies into her mouth. "Find a place and look like you're sleeping." Shoving one last cookie in her mouth, she threw herself onto the couch and started lightly fake snoring.
With this, Marise threw herself onto the table and closed her eyes just as Semira entered the room. There was a second of silence, and then chaos. Absolute chaos. She heard feet slam across the floor as the girl ran to the tree, fearing the worst when she heard movement. Then the screeches. Then the flailing. Was she breaking things? Opening her eyes she froze at the childish scene before her, bursting into laughter.
Semira did /not/ expect any of this. At first she had just stared, then migrated into a frantic frenzy of squeals that tried to become more mature and muffled when she realized how childish she sounded, then failed. Eagerly she approached the tree, peeking into it and tapping presents, leaping away when the wrapping paper made odd noises, and then inspecting once more. She spotted the stockings, rushing over and peeking inside, tail wagging a mile a minute as she then began to to notice the cookies now missing. "Santa came!" Was all she squeaked, wings flapping wildly.
It sounded as if Semira was attacking the Christmas tree. Opening her eyes she realized this was not far from the truth. She was flitting about touching everything and squealing in pure glee when it made noises. She looked just like she should for her first Christmas. She just hoped she liked the presents she'd picked out. She sat up, stretched, fake yawned, then rubbed her eyes, feigning exhaustion. "Hey, earlybird. Looks like it, huh? How about we sort out all the presents into piles and then open them? Wow, look at how many cookies he ate! And those stockings! Would you rather get into those first. Look, Marise, Santa came!"
Santa? SANTA WAS REAL. She turned, rather whirled, to view the other, gasping at the others santa outfit and pointing. "Santa made you into a man?" Marise burst into laughter, which confused Semira until the mention of presents were uttered. Without a response her vectors began collecting presents and setting them down in the middle of the floor while she flopped down and intently stared at them.
Park sighed in relief, but then straightened up. "Uh, no and yes. I've been, uh, nominated an official Santa by the official Santa." She nodded very seriously, and then began sorting presents. She put each in seperate piles in front of their respective owners. She waved at Marise to sit too. "There. All the seperate. Dig in! Er, not literally." She pulled the first present in front of her. "To Park from Santa."
