A flash of gold in twilight, the lustre of a few well placed pearls...the haunting and so very compelling tune of gemstones clicking together while you walk - all tools so very vital to the mission. Small details to make him take note amid the laughter and the gaiety taking place at tonights event.
Him..the mark..the one who had what I wanted. A twist of the head ,a flash of red, contrasting so vividly with the esquisite sleek styling of my mane, tilting my head further and the dancing torchlight flashes against the pearls, setting thier iridescence oh so very briefly afire. I can see him now, that oh so desirable stallion taking notice of me...it is only the first step however, there are many pretty mares here this night - but I must make sure that he returns to his home tonight with me. Me and noone else. It is vital.
I allow him only a quick glimpse, a small disarming look before slipping away to dissapear into the crowd. It is a calculated look - sure to draw him toward's me. No stallion can withstand the allure of a mare who seems interested, most espechially one as well done up as myself.I have taken care not to overdo it tonight - this is a stallion not drawn to the gaudy..but to the simply elegant, riches displayed enough to show status but not to blind those looking.
Predictably the stallion has followed me, moving through the crowd to see me where I stand at the edge of the party. I pretend not to notice as he approaches, give him a demure and innocent look as he nods his head and introduces himself. I know who you are. Tossing my head I allow my necklace to twinkle and flare in the torchlighm jingling with the laughter that escapes his lips at my utterly lame joke. It seems that I have captured the beasts attention - all as planned.
