Oto Library Much like any library, this one has many shelves lined throughout the building, each filled with books of many subjects. Scrolls containing a few jutsu are also available, though not many, due to certain diplomatic concerns with the other villages. The librarian on duty is always willing to help as long as you ask, but once you fail to return a book... she will hunt you down...

Mhp: 9 "Hey Makoto! I'm sorry I ran off earlier, I really had to use the bathroom. Now I'm learning hand seals! I came to the library to look for a book that's got more info than this scroll." Calvin was glad to meet his new friend again. " Did i just hear you asking for a hand seal as well? We could study together if you'd like. I've already got two of the seals down. Pretty easy so far. So would you like to study with me?" Calvin hoped Makoto would join him because he'd really like to have a new friend. Then something popped into his mind, something that terrified him, his teacher Jiro. " DID YOU KNOW JIRO HAS TWO...BODIES?? I'm not sure how and I don't understand completely but it's freaky!" Calvin was so worked up again he didn't realize how loud he was being in the library.

Dodge Bonus: 31 Rayne walked into the Oto library. Can those twins not keep their eyes on their students? I mean, he has two sets for crying out loud! The clicking of metal on the ground echoed into the library. She looked down at her feet to see the shining glint of metal from the tekagi. Kids thinking they can just ditch class. She spotted the culprit talking to a current genin. He seemed to have gotten the mix-up of what he meant by seals. The slender woman stretched out a hand to gently touch the young boy's shoulder.
"Mister Durnod... It has come to my attention that you have bailed out on class... is that correct?"
She looked at the boy with her glowing green eyes, her slitted pupils scanning into the young boy's soul.
"Before you answer, let me tell you a little something about myself. I am Rayne Anzan, currently... a teacher of sorts. These eyes are more than just show. See this here," she said pointing at one of the rows of kozuka strapped across her thigh without removing her gaze from him, "You could try to run, but one of these would find you before you left the room, and I could be holding a conversation with Mr. Lung here at the same time. If you also wish to see the... darker side of the Anzan women, please, by all means try to escape. Mr. Lung can also inform you about that. Speaking of which..."
She turned to Makoto, "I think Airi has been missing you. You should really think twice before ditching a girl. It is rather rude... Maybe you should spend some time with Satoru, when he gets back that is."
She returned her deadly gaze to Calvin, "So Mr. Durnod, let me put it gently when I say, do not lie to me. Will you be leaving here and going back to the academy?"

Makoto's face turned slightly pale with fear, He had already agreed to the marriage and was busy with training and two full-on battle royales… If nothing else he was still recovering from the mission and ‘The Oto Genin War’ he was in. Turning and bowing to Rayne for a moment, he listed as she started talking about how his friend ditched class. This made his shake his head in disappointment, before she maintained him. He had a solid defense and if she had not talked to Airi lately, he had gone to see her several times over the last few days. “I saw her yesterday, I agreed to the arranged marriage as well with her and her parents present. “ Spoke makoto with an honest tone, because he still remembered the facts of the marriage and customs of the Anzan. “Also I never ditched her, But if she needs me then I’ll see her again after I collect the ‘Fuinjutsu Book’. “ Spoke makoto with a resolve, He was being honest and forward with Rayne Sensei. He did see her yesterday, but if she missed him already… then me might as well move in with her. He really didn’t know if this was a wise choose, but he was being honest with everyone here.

Calvin awaited Makoto's answer but noticed that he looked like a ghost when a teacher had entered the library. Then, she spoke to Calvin. "Skipped class? I've never even skipped to my lou, my darling. That's kinda rude to say to a student you've just met, if you ask me. I mean, we are students, but that doesn't mean we're all just cuttin' class when we aren't in a class. And, why would I run? From a teacher, no less? I don't need to know that you've got some freaky jutsu that could find me to know that you're faster, stronger, smarter and all that jazz. Now, to answer your question, I told Jiro I was going to the library to learn more about the handseals so that I could try and perfect them. Jiro had assigned me the task of learning them and hear I am, asking Makoto if he would like to join me. I didn't think this would be a problem. Again, Makoto," Calvin turned to his friend "I'm really sorry about running off last time." Calvin faced the teacher again. He realized what he said sounded a bit rude. But, he wasn't going to take back what he said. Well, maybe that first part he would. "I apologize for the skip-to-my-lou bit and for calling your eyes freaky, but the rest of what I said still stands." Calvin pondered everything he had said. Was he brave or stupid? Calvin knew that wasn't the way he should talk to a teacher, but he felt, in a way, that he was right. He hoped that if it was going to be bad, hopefully, it wouldn't be too bad. Calvin slapped on his biggest smile. That always made him feel more at ease when he was feeling like he'd gone too far.

Dodge Bonus: 31 Rayne thought about it for a second. Hmm... I suppose it has been a few days before I'd seen her. She rubbed her chin, "Hmmm, well that's good then. It's been a while since I've seen her myself. Perhaps I should take my own advice..." She really needed to get away from the academy. She had been busy with a bunch of paperwork when the Soma Twins took over teaching. She was only a sub anyways, so it didn't bother her. Now she simply helps out when available.
That was when the young boy spoke. She about blew a lid on this kid. "Did you seriously just disrespect a teacher? I don't believe the instructor gave you permission to so much as look out the window. This academy isn't something you can decide to go to or leave at a moment's notice. If you were having trouble, which from my source says you were doing rather fine, then ask the teacher. He is there to teach you." He was lucky he was a child, or she would have stuck her bladed boot so far up his a** he would be shitting through several new orifices. She grabbed the kid by the front of his shirt and lifted him up off the ground, "Now listen here... runt. You are going back to the academy whether you like it or not. And try screaming... I'm just simply doing my job..." Not like anyone would try and stop her. This was a new regime after all. "Mr. Lung, I believe what you are looking for is in that section over there," she said pointing with her free hand to a section of books and scrolls in the south-east corner. "Not many people decide the route of fuuinjutsu, so there won't be too many to help you. Good luck.... with everything."
"And now for you..." she continued as she carried the boy out of the library, towards the academy.

T╚══════.♥.═╝Miyako walked into the library, just simply looking for a place to relax and study while healing from her injuries. She could finally breathe and cool down after that... intense encounter. She pushed the hair on the left side of her face behind her ear, revealing her second scaffolding piercing her parents had promised her for graduating. It was still tender, but she was very fond of it. She wanted to work on fuuinjutsu so she could carry more than one puppet with her into battle. If she could learn the technique i would greaten her chances of dealing damage. She figured this would be her first essential thing to learn. She went over to where the fuuinjutsu scrolls were and found Makoto, "Hello Makoto. Here to study as well?"

Sighing and looking over to her, makoto held it out to her and spoke. “Sadly this village duss not have much in the art we seek, this small scroll of knowledge is all we have. Mind if we share it and learn what we can? “ Asked makoto with a serious demeanor, He was dead serious on his research and if they worked together then they could fill in what the other villages already knew if not more.

T╚══════.♥.═╝Miyako looked over at the scroll as he set it down. "Yeah. I think it might be due to the first... they kind of keep a close eye on all the seal stuff. I heard rumor there were some pretty dark stuff over in the restricted section. Though... it'd be insane trying to enter there." She looked over at the scroll and began reading from it. The information was solid, but it was a lot of introductory stuff. It didn't bother her though, she could always use refreshers. She had some knowledge, but anything was better than nothing. "Project you say?"
She continued looking at the scroll, but some of the information was wuite hard to read. It seemed there might have been some others looking into the same thing and had worn the scroll down. "What's this project of yours?" She was slightly interested. All she wanted to do was seal puppets away for easy carrying... there wasn't much else she was looking into. Nothing else seemed to make her want to pursue it. "I know that not many people go into it, but it is a very intricate and is very precise."

It was very interesting how this was a supposedly complex system when the intro seemed easy as always, but then again… Makoto knew the price of thinking like that before; he had a taste of his own medicine. But when she started talking, the information was overwhelming. There were dark secrets to his over in the restricted area, this was more than enough reason why he wanted to do this… but the thought of it seemed like cheating. Leaning back in the chair for a moment, makoto started thinking as she asked him what the project he was working on was. Makoto closed his eyes before he replied. “ Something to even the playing field…that is all I can say. ” Spoke makoto as he straightened up and started thinking about the beginning knowledge he had in his head, it was only the first part of it but it was informative never the less. T╚══════.♥.═╝Miyako read over the scroll a bit longer, not answering Makoto's question right away. After reading over a few things did she speak up, "A little project," she chuckled to herself, "Nah, I'm just trying to learn the sealing jutsu so I can carry multiple puppets into battle. They can get pretty heavy." She about slapped herself in the face. "s**t! I forgot my puppet at the training grounds... damn it..." She would have gone back there, but Urza was still there... She turned a beet red and tried to concentrate back on her work, "I-I-I'll just get it later." She doubted one of the others would take her puppet. But what if Urza brought it to her? She wouldn't be able to escape...
She looked back down at the scroll, finding the information absorbing her mind and her thoughts. At least the work was enough to keep her occupied and side tracked. She continued scanning over the scroll and reading the facts of fuuinjutsu and some common seals in the world. There were a few she was interested in, and would maybe one day try out, but nothing that really peaked her interest.
Though she did find some information on what she was looking for. It explained how sealing things into a scroll worked. It was intricate and often took time and talent. When sealed the items are and are not the seal at the same time... in actuality, it's the easiest way to explain it. She sort of got the idea, though it was still hard to imagine a puppet, the size of a human being, being nothing but ink on a piece of paper. "I mean... I get this stuff, like summoning creatures and stuff, how you call them from their own land by a contract, but this item summoning stuff is a little complicating..."

Hoshi took one turn and she had the library in her sights. Hoshi laughed a little and continued to walk towards it. The steps weren't normal big steps but, they were enough to say that she was walking at least. Hoshi smiled a bit and her confidence flared up in herself. She just had to go a little more and she would be done delivering the puppet. Hoshi had never really thought about how heavy this thing was until she had actually tried it. She just had to go down the street and she could be done. She could also feel how it was to carry this thing. Hoshi couldn't imagine carrying more than one. That would be horrible. She was getting so close. She was happy that she was doing this actually. She was hitting two birds with one stone on this one. She was delivering the puppet to an ally and she was training. Hoshi smiled a bit and continued to walk. It wasn't that far away anymore. I'm so glad I'm into genjutsu. Hoshi thought to herself as she continued to walk. If she wasn't into genjutsu and was into puppetry instead, she'd have to deal with carrying these things. Hoshi laughed a little and continued to walk the best she could. She was just hit with a huge wave of fatigue and she knew that she wasn't going to be able to push her body any farther on this one. Hoshi sighed softly to herself and decided that she should take a short break. Hoshi sat down for a moment and let herself breathe in and out. She made sure she was in the shade and she closed her eyes. Hoshi smiled softly and started to feel a little better. She had pushed herself really hard today so far. She still had to go a little ways before she was done however. Just a little more. She looked over at the library and hoped that Miyako was still in there.
