On top of a hill was a tall mansion. The sign read Driftwood Academy. It was just scratched into the wood. It overlooked the rest of the town with humans that were ready just to be scared. On the bus where all the students sat. Some showing off their powers and others worried about what had to come of them of a school so dark.
The headmaster greeted them. He was the Grim Reaper and looked the scariest of them all. A pair of skeletons collapsed when they saw his face. The moon drew and angry red as he invited them inside....

Gus HowlerHe stared at the red moon and howled as he then quickly ran after the others to follow them inside. A big hall was in front of them. A wide stair case leading up to plenty of doors. " Boys are on the Left. Girls on the right ill see you down here in 10 minutes.. anyone who takes longer will be punished!"He quickly ran into a room and chucked her stuff down on his bed.

 Alaska WatersAlaska entered the school a bit lost and frustrated. She felt everyone just pass through her. She sighed and just walked through the gates. It wasn't long since Alaska's death. It had been three years since the accident. And somehow... she ended up enrolling in this academy now that she had become a ghost. To find peace or whatever the reason may be, she would definitely work her way to get to the other side.

Vlad stepped off the bus and looked around. He smiled to himself under the blood red moon.
"So we are here to learn about being monsters? This should be interesting."
He leaped on top of the bus and unlashed his coffin. He leaped back down and carried it easily on one shoulder and wandered to where they would be quartered before returning to the main hall. As he was one of the only students who had returned so quickly he was bored as he realised he would be waiting for the next few minutes.
"Well, if I am going to have to 'hang around' waiting..."
He walks towards the wall in the back of the hall. Once he reaches the wall he continues by planting his foot on the wall and then walks up it until he reaches the rafter. Then he continues to walk along the rafter upside down until he reaches a good spot to watch everything going on.
"... I might as well 'hang out' here. Besides from here I'll be able to hear the teachers better than in the crowd to come."

Gus HowlerHis room had cracks on the glass and he was glad to be sleeping alone. Due to his dog like abilities. He walked out his door and bumped into someone else. His eyes looked a very dark red as he quickly looked away. " Sorry.. Your a vampire. Its just something that I do. Vampires can hypnotise so. Im Gus."He kept a distance and held out his hand as it was shook. His hand was ice cold. He gave a nod covering his eyes and walked down the steps uncovering and blocking the vampire out of view.

Vlad smiles friendly, despite the fact his fangs are showing, and shakes Gus hand.
"A pleasure to meet you, Gus. Please do call me Vlad. Oh and it's just Vlad. It isn't short for Vladimir or anything like that. I assume Gus isn't short for 'Gustave'?"
Vlad chuckles at Gus reaction.
"Appologies, for the hands coolness. I haven't fed recently.There is no need to worry. I will not attack without provocation so there is no need to keep your distance. The same goes for compelling with my gaze. I cannot help being a vampire anymore than you can being a werewolf, yes? We are both fellow 'students' here so it is in our own best interests to be friends, here. Especially since we both have similair things in common, no?"
Seeing Gus walk away Vlad shrugged. He was sure there would be other chances to get to know his classmates. He continued to look around hoping he might see some more interesting or familair ones.

Gus Howler" 10 minutes is up!"His voice boomed throughout the school. Gus covered his ears as he was sensitive to noise. Everyone soon came running as he spotted the Vampire before come towards him. " Yes I'll be your friend. Since Im already cursed looks like you cant bite me.. My full name is just Angus Howler but i've just been going my Gus."The Grim Reaper began to speak. " Dinner is Served!"He banged his Scythe against the ground. The doors flung open as fairies floated around. They all ran in to sit at tables. He found a table in the corner and just decided to sit on it. A candle was burning bright in the middle as pixies spread dust around the room and was formed into food for each species. He watched as a glass of water and a steak appeared. The red moon shone through the windows. As he looked out he began to transform. As he ate.

Vlad lightly hopped and flipped from the ceiling landing lightly into a chair. A little brownie carried out a goblet for him and several pixies floated by carrying bottles. They flew around a few times so he could make a selection.
"Hmmm... Yes, that one. The '87 Vortegac if you please."
He takes the bottle himself and pulls the cork with his teeth allowing the bottle to 'breeth' before he pours it into the goblet. then holds the goblet over a candle flame to warm it before he drinks. His eyes glow softly.
"Unfortunate. The bottled stuff is never as fulfilling as something hunted and fresh. Still Vortegac is a fine 'vinter' and at least captures the tatse correctly."
He looks over at Gus and sees him change as he devores his steak.
"I'm sure you would agree though on the 'hunting'."

Madeline Williams"So, This is the academy.." She surveyed the whole place and the freaks around her. She knew she is one of them but they seem to interest her. Every kind of its own is there. Her senses returned and so she decided that she should go to her room and fix her things up. "Great. Ten minutes." Hearing the Grim Reaper she quickly dumped all her stuff and decided to finish up fixing up her things after the dinner. She sat next to a wolf who was eating in the oddest way and a pale looking guy. "The atmosphere here is so gloomy...I hope you don't mind me seating here next to you guys?"She continued to sit down and she gave a cold smile. She kept on surveying the place and then looked at the wolf and the pale guy again. "I'm sorry, I did'nt mean to be rude. I'm Madeline Williams by the way."

Gus HowlerHe howls at the moon. He leaps from his chair and up the stairs and up a thousand more stairs to get to the attic. He went onto the roof and bayed at the moon. The building was tall and far from the floor yet he had to get closer. He leaped into a tree and climbed to the top and howled once again.

Vlad hopped up so he stood in the seat of his chair and smiled at Madeline bowing at the waist as he did so. Then he insisted on pulling out her chair for her.
"Not at all, dear lady. Please do join us and help to ward off this gloomy atmosphere!"
He hops back down and lands lightly in his chair again, his legs slung over the arm. He is about to say more when suddenly Gus tears off for the attic and is heard howling the next moment. He grins and chuckles remembering what it is like to run beneath the moonlight, himself.
"It is a pleasure to make your aquintance Ms. Williams. May I call you Madeline? I am Vlad. Vlad Dragonson. And our former companion is Gus. Please do excuse him as he just felt the change come over him. The siren call of the moon, you understand?"
He raises his glass to toast her.
"To your health."

Madeline WilliamsThe wolf ran fast which surprised her. She looked at Vlad who seemed to be calm and gave him a smirk. Her eyes went back to the wolf who was gone in less than a second. "And there I thought he was one of those wolves who has control."
She gave off an awkward laugh and continued to poke her food. She heard the howls which made her giggle. She looked at Vlad again. "Adorable."She toasted her glass and continued to finish her meal. "You can call me Maddy, if you want to or whatever fits your liking."

Vlad smirked at her comment about control.
"Well it is the first day of school after all. Very exciting time, to be certain. I am certain we all wish to 'learn or improve' something while we are here."
He winks and laughs as if he has shared a joke.
"Very well. Maddy, it is. Do just call me Vlad."
He toys with his goblet and then refills it from the bottle again warming the blood inside using the candle flame.
"Well as I am sure you noticed our friend is a 'werewolf'..."
He drinks some of the blood and his eyes glow and he smiles theatrically as he finishes showing his fangs.
"...and being a smart young lady I am certain you have deduced that I am nosferatu or 'vampire', as it were. I do hope you shall forgive me for being so gauche as to ask what kind of creature you are and enlighten my ignorance?"
