As night fell and the city sort of fell asleep, did a city ever fully fall asleep? Alexandre wandered the streets. It was a Saturday night and he didn't have anything to do, he was actually caught up on homework; having finished it all around dinner time. So here he was turning a corner as he walked far from home, seeking to put distance between himself and his home before he went and powered up.

He didn't like the idea of powering up anywhere near home, he tried not to power down near home either. Alley ways made great places to power up or down, kept the chances of being seen down to a minimum. There was always the risk of being seen. His hands slipped into the pockets of the dark wash jeans he wore as he approached the mouth of an alley way, this one would work for tonight. Without a glance into the alley way Alexandre ducked into the protected area and leaned against the brick walls for a moment to rest.

Natron was still getting used to the whole wake up, go to school, slink around the city by night and drain civilians of their energy routine. Plus making time for school activities and homework...he was having to learn time management. It was a little surreal.

He had staked out an alley that night, under the presumption that most people who wandered into alleys weren't the best sorts. So when someone slipped in and leaned against the wall, the Lieutenant approached quickly and quietly, putting a hand on his shoulder to drain some energy. It was only after that he recognized Alexandre, the boy from school who had seemed so well-informed on the war.

Well, oops. But Alexandre wouldn't know it was him, right?

Alexandre didn't recognize him but he did notice when a hand fell onto his shoulder, and when he started to feel tired. Twisting and turning he stepped back, slate colored eyes locking on the...agent. Slowly a smile, or at least something you could consider a smile, twisted soft pink lips.

Shaking his head, ash blond bangs moving left to right and left again, he blinked once and stared at the agent who had just drained some of his energy. "I do hope you'll at least turn in my unplanned energy donation." If that wasn't a give away as to how much he knew, and his position in all of this, he didn't know what was. Of course he didn't know just who he was confessing this to. The last time, and only other time, this had happened Fluorite had returned his energy but he didn't mind so much now, he wasn't sick now like he had been then either.

Natron had yet to have someone realize what he was doing while draining them. The minute Alexandre turned to look at him, he felt a surge of paranoia. Oh god, surely he would be recognized, they were so close, never mind the glamor...thing.

Oh good lord Alexandre knew exactly what was happened. Natron actually took a step back in pure surprise. "How did you know?" He asked, though he was suddenly very suspicious. Was Alexandre...one of them?

"That would be easy." A slow step, measured and calculated, was taken toward the other. It almost seemed like a change in personality happened, some sort of a mask pulled down over his face. He wasn't the same person he was when powered up, or in a situation like this.

"I happen to know because..." And this was the point in which jeans and a long sleeved, cream colored cable knit, sweater turned into a very familiar uniform. The uniform was far more elaborate than what he had just been wearing and also more elaborate than what the, quickly, identified Lieutenant wore. "I happen to also go by the name Benitoite." He was on the same side as Natron in this war and higher ranked, he'd been at this longer. But unknown to Alexandre it would explain things to the brunette he stood before.

Short, shorter in appearance than he was, Alexandre's hair was loose and gave him a more feminine look while the uniform seemed to match his personality.

"I've had another take energy from me, when I was walking as a civilian." He spoke, explaining how he knew what had been happening. When a person touched you and you got weak and tired feeling it meant one thing; at least in this city and in an alleyway.

Natron stared in stunned silence for a few moments. Finally, he managed to speak. "Oh my god, that explains so much." He said. He wondered if he might have given a hint as to his civilian identity, but did it really matter? This was an ally!

Also, he was admittedly impressed with Alexandre-Benitoite's uniform. He looked pretty amazing. Natron wondere dif he'd get an awesome cape like that someday.

"I mean, I am so sorry about that...General?" He was guessing at rank, but Benitoite's power signature was on par with Painite's, so he figured he would take a shot. "I wouldn't have, you know, if I'd known." He coughed.

"Ah heh, I see." At least Natron wasn't the only person to mistakenly drain a fellow Negaverser.

Assuming the other was referring to how he'd figured out he was being drained, not that it explained things he'd said to the other in school.

Chuckling he bobbed his head. "General indeed, Lieutenant." Holding out a hand. "And your name?" Not his civilian name, but the name he went by as an officer in this war. It was a name Alexandre though was more personal, more intimate in a way. It was a secret life and more.

"It's alright, just be sure to turn in that energy. It should go to some use at least since it's been taken." And not returned, which he wasn't looking for the other to do.

"Tell me, how is your evening going?" This was a new member of the Negaverse and he wished to know how his evening was so far, how had he been doing with gathering energy, and had he been safe thus far. "You have not had any...meetings with our enemy since joining?" He asked, hoping if he had that at least someone had been with him or he hadn't been over powered. He worried, and was concerned, for the new members who served chaos.

He took the offered hand and shook it. "Lieutenant Natron, sir." He said. As civilians they were the same age, went to the same school, but Benitoite was his superior and was going to get sir'd.

"I'll make sure it gets turned in," he said firmly. Every bit counted, right? There were space invaders to chase off! Couldn't afford wasting energy, even if it was from his superior.

He was really quite glad Benitoite wasn't angry abut that, it could have gone very poorly if he were.

"My evening has been going well, actually," he said. "Took care of civilian obligations," read: MUFON meeting, " and then headed out to do my real job." He sighed at the mention of meetings with the enemy. "A few, actually. Some have gone better than others."

"No need for the sir, Benitoite is fine." Sir made him feel...old and he'd like to avoid that, thank you very much. "Good, you'll need someone to bring you down when your ready to turn it in. Have you got a way down?" He asked, wanting to make sure the Lieutenant had someone who could take him down, he was sure he'd been down already; why would he not have been?

"That's good." Very good, indeed. Nodding his head at the other. "If you'd like we can walk and you tell me about these meetings. Perhaps I've run into some who you've run into." He spoke casually, though there was what need to know. He wanted, and needed, to know who this new member had run into, how much danger he may have been in. "Compare notes sort to speak." And see what this new member of the Negaverse had faced.

Natron looked a little embarrassed. "Not a reliable one. I've usually shanghaied the nearest higher-ranking officer for help," he confessed. Painite had covered the basics with him, so he knew what to do, it was just a matter of actually getting it done.

The Lieutenant nodded eagerly. "I'd be glad to let you know what I've observed," he said. Of course, that would probably mean confessing the beating he'd taken to a higher-ranking officer, but, well, it would have to come up eventually. "And, uh, you could probably give me pointers on who to avoid."

"Alright, than I will take you since I'll remain with you this evening. When you gain in rank, become a Captain, you'll be able to do it yourself. It'll cost you a lot of energy and tire your out though. So I'd suggest still seeking help when you can. You should also have someone help teach you to teleport." This was all said as he glanced around. Walk the streets or pull them up to roof tops and see if the other could roof top hop around the city.

"Of course. The first thing to avoid is any senshi with wings on their back. Those are eternals and are equal to myself in terms of power. They are the highest a senshi can go without going royal, royal being equivalent to our General King and General Queens. The power the royals wield...even I would likely stand no chance against." He spoke shaking his head as he thought of how foolish his own need to know, his curiosity, had almost gotten himself into. Tracking down that power signature and finding a royal; foolish of him. "Royal senshi can power down to eternal form, so you also never know what eternal your running into can power up to royal. It's rather annoying, possibly finding yourself suddenly outranked like that." Not a surprise he'd wish on anyone on the dark side of this war.

"As far as knights go. I'd just say to avoid anyone that feels as strong as a General...and a green haired female squire. She's connected to a knight and if you fight her your likely to have a run in with him and get beaten on. It's like some over protective boyfriend who's girlfriend can't handle herself." He stated, disgust clear in his voice as he spoke of the two. It was obvious he knew this all first hand.

"Have you ever moved by roof top?" He asked suddenly, glancing skyward.

Natron nodded. "I'd appreciate that, thanks," he said. He always appreciated when he found someone willing to help with a ride into the Rift. "And, uh, I think me being able to teleport is a ways off," he chuckled awkwardly. He was dedicated to the cause, but at the moment he considered himself something of a failure. Promotion? Not even on his radar.

He nodded as Benitoite explained. He had met one Eternal, but that was Leto, and she was an ally. He remembered how helpless he had felt when he had tonight she was going to hurt him. He never wanted to feel that again. "Stay away from Senshi with wings, gotcha." He said. Very sound advice, especially if they could surprise you by turning out to be a royal. That was a surprise he wanted to avoid as best as possible.

"I uh, actually met one of those General-level Knights," Natron said. "Said his name was Camelot, of Earth. He was more interested in talking than fighting, though." He made a mental note about the green-haired girl. Ugh, he did not want some overprotective boyfriend after him. Scary thought.

"Rooftop travel? Yeah, I have. I gotta say, one of theist things about this." Besides defending the Earth and all.

"You'd be surprised. I hadn't thought much of myself, or my abilities; given my first weapon, but I rather quickly found myself a Captain. I believe something like three months maybe." He said as he thought of how long it had been, three months sounded about right. He knew he'd joined in the summer last year and around Halloween had been the Surrounding, right? He'd been a Captain for that. "You may not even realize, or see it in yourself, and than suddenly find yourself a rank higher." He really had wondered then if he'd earned it, he figured at this point in time that question had been safely laid to rest.

"The only ones who are good, who may have wings, have black ones. Those of the dark mirror court, our allies, and those we've corrupted to our side also. Any white wings you stay away from." This being said by a person who's first run in with a senshi was an eternal, and he'd been out wandering sick at the time while powered up. But he'd learned, at least he was sure he had, since then.

"Camelot..." Whatever he had against that Knight it was a lot, judging by the way the name was hissed out. Slate eyes had narrowed and one gloved hand clenched into a fist. "That would be the green haired ones lover. He might talk about peace, and not fighting, but he broke my ribs once. He's a hypocrite and should be avoided, least you get into a fight with him and soon find that girl after you. His shield also lets off some nasty beam of green light. So he has a bit more magic than most knights seem to have." Something to always dislike, an enemy with a bit more power than the usual ones of their kind. They'd earned whatever that power was and likely had no issue in using it. He disliked Camelot, that much was for certain. "I think I hurt him the last time we had a run in, I'd hoped he'd be out of commission longer. A pity." He hadn't dedicated the whole night, and all his attention, to Camelot. He hadn't even wanted to fight him really, truth be told, but he was there and he felt that rage build in him and he had to attack him, and attack he had. He'd hoped someone else had done him more damage, as it had seemed he'd already been pretty injured by others by the time he'd run into him, and added to the injuries he'd inflicted upon him. Seemed that hadn't happened.

"Then we'll do that. It's easier really." No cars or people in the way, less chance of people seeing them and calling the police and such; after all they were terrorists.

Grabbing the others shoulder he brought them up to the roof of the building he had been leaning against previous to Natron draining his energy. It was simple teleporting, at least at this point it was. he could only wonder how much easier it was for a General Queen or General King.

Unphased by suddenly being up on a roof top he pulled away enough to look around them. He didn't sense anyone, good or bad, which was good perhaps for the new officer.

Natron gave Benitoite a small smile.
"That's, uh, I appreciate you saying so," he said. He really didn't think he had what it took, but maybe he just wasn't seeing it in himself. "I don't know if I'll make it in three months, but we'll see," he nodded. Given time, he was sure he would end up exactly where he needed to be.

He nodded. "I met some of them, the Dark Mirror Court." He said. "Uhh, Leto and Navi." He named the two he knew. "They were both fair, and interesting to talk to." After Leto had scared him pantsless, but that was another matter.

He frowned at Benitoite's description of Camelot. It didn't seem to match up with the Knight he had met, who had clearly preferred talking to fighting, but then Natron was pretty far below him. Maybe the Knight hadn't considered him worth raising a hand to. That was a slightly alarming thought. "Well, I mean, I gotta say, meeting him went better than the other time I ran into a Knight. Er, a Page, I guess, which is kind of sad." He coughed and looked furiously embarrassed. He had been pounded into the pavement by someone fully on his level, someone he really ought to have been capable of taking. He really, really hated being a skinny, nerdy kid.

Natron was still pretty dang impressed with the whole teleportation thing. He was also pretty impressed with the view of the city. He wondered if it would get less impressive as he ranked up and became able to do it himself.

"Did you have any plans for where you were going to go? I usually just sort of...meander." And mostly avoid Order power signatures.

"Just do your best, we'll see where you make it in three months." If Natron became a Captain in that amount of time than he should know he'd done well. He seemed dedicated enough, which was a good thing for any member to be, but you never knew what lay down the road ahead with this war. Who knew how a person would feel in a few months time, if they could handle it all, and you didn't even know if they'd be alive in a few months time. Though he did try not to focus and think on that last thing.

"Indeed, they are interesting. I don't know Navi but I am good friends with Leto. She's quite the fighter, a good person to have on your side and our side in general." He spoke, thinking of the brunette made him smile. She really was a good ally to have and was a good personal friend. "I also know that as a civilian Leto has a fondness for cheesecake, a good way to make friends with her beyond this war." He thought it a good idea to make friends with allies, something beyond their nighttime activities. It helped, he felt, to strengthen things. Plus it was always good to get away from the risks at night and just talk to someone who was in the same, or similar, position you were.

"Then that's good, that Camelot didn't harm you. Though I would not trust him to remain that way. The first time he and I met he was like that as well, after that however things did change. So be cautious any time you run into him, no matter what he may have said in the past." He knew he didn't trust the Knight of Earth, and why should he?

"I go wherever my feet take me, sometimes I'll chase down an energy signature." Sometimes not, t did depend on his mood and if it was too hot to do much. "We'll walk and you explain to me about this Page which you encountered, I'd like to hear." Motioning the other to speak and perhaps even lead the way. For tonight the Lieutenant would be safe, with the blond General at his side, if anyone tried to pick a fight. Benitoite wouldn't be letting him come to harm, and it wasn't too hot for him to fight.
