Today was a good day. Momma had given her the chance to go out and play, and she had maaaaybe been out a little longer than her mom likely would be happy with. But she knew that she was safe. Anjelle was almost positive that there was no danger in the Pridelands. Maybe it was her juvenile naivety, but she wasn't thinking that way.
A butterfly fluttered past her nose, and she found her eyes growing wide as she stood. She really didn't have many worries, she was a pretty sheltered gal for the most part. But she figured she lead a rather.. uneventful life. As safe and happy as she was, she didn't have any friends. The closest friend she has was Noel, and she wasn't sure her brother counted as a friend.
So the butterfly offered her a chance at having one. She couldn't help but giggle as she bounced after it. No matter how boring life could be, Anjelle could never not be happy. She was far too friendly, far too happy.
But in times like this, she was happy for it.
